thanks for your comments mates

today I did a first test with the screen - I am glad it fits :) The green protection tape around the screen will be black matte later.

The flasher looks in the same location as my Road Show. Looks like there is room for 6 flashers :) Where else on the cabinet will you put flashers, just curious.

Is it easier sliding the monitor into the game compared to lifting it in and out with your original design?

I'm thinking the depth perception is pretty cool.

might need to think of a way to get the heat out from between the screen and glass if you close off the back with the backdrop/flasher board. probably not a lot of heat, but would be good to get it circulating since it rises :)

maybe 1 or 2 small fans mounted to the back of the flasher board to pull the heat from the front area under the lockbar and out the back.

yes, it is easier to slide out the monitor with the new design (with the first design you have to dismount the siderails and the playfield glass)

current flasher/led plan is:

orange circles=rgb flasher - 150mA for playfield and 350mA for backbox, so you can wire it parallel.

yellow circles=led strobe with cree xm-l 1000lumen coldwhite.

yellow rectangle=mini car led strobe

I hope the temps are ok under the glass, maybe I drill some holes in the flasher board (behind that board are 2x 220mm fans).

Naahhh, you'll be fine. Mine's pretty much the same setup using an older screen that produces way more heat and it runs without a hitch.
