Ok, so, ive finally sat down, and setup my Hyperspin on my Shield. Ive got a theme loaded, ive got videos and artwork, and ive got my roms. My Roms are on a Nas but Hyperspin sees them. The real issue come with Retro Arch! For some reason it simply hits a default CFG every single time I try and load from Hyperspin. Ive followed the advice that Ive seen "thatman84" post and I know he knows what hes talking about but I simply cant get Hyperspin to work. If I load retro arch without HS I cant configure the Directorys etc and setup my cores. Then each time I enter RA it works as id expect However if I load via HS I get the default config. Now I can …

Hi, Is there any way Dolphin emulator can play in fullscreen ? I have tried setting it to force 16:9 or stretch to fullscreen but it just won't work and plays 4:3 aspect Any ideas ? ps, I have tried many version of Dolphin and same results. Thanks

Hello, Got things working well but can't seem to get the osd keys to disable when launching roms through hyperspin. I have disabled it within retroarch and works fine if launching roms direclty in retroarch. However for some reason if i launch the game in hyperspin the OSD overlay is present. I'm guessing there is a seperate config I'm missing but looking for some assistance. Thanks!

Settings file directory location Global.ini & Betabrite.ini Settings.ini Main Menu.ini (All testing done on Nvidia Shield TV Pro) Before We Start... Hi guys, I've mapped an exit button on retroarch which works perfectly for genesis and pc engine games. However,this doesn't work for n64 using the mupen64 plus emulator. Any thoughts or button mapping tips?

Hi guys, Hyperspin newbie with Nvidia Shield TV and enjoying the learning process. Recently installed the PC Engine ROM pack which works perfectly. However, I am unable to exit out of a PC Engine game within Hyperspin. The only way is to go back to the Shield TV main menu, then reload hyperspin, select a different wheel (i.e. MAME) and then go back into the PC Engine wheel to select a different game. I am using Retroarch to emulate (Mednafen PCE fast) and within Retroarch I have enabled the left analog stick, I have binded the right analog press to exit Retroarch and the shield controller back button to exit to menu. So within Retroarch the games play beautifully …

Why when I set controller and system settings in a mame game it doesn't save? If I open let's say supervision 8000 and left click trigger to open up machine menu set start and button configuration they work but when I exit game to start another I have to reset all settings

I'm making a wheel with retro magazines and they are PDFs, was wondering if there is a way (which I'm sure there is) to use a PDF reader in hyperspin. What's a good Apk to use and what's or how do I get the exe=????? To use the stand alone emulator? Or is there somthing in RetroArch I can use. Been looking but can't find to much on this for Andriod. I seen PDF readers, but dunno how to get the exe= Thanks for help.

Hi, I am thinking of purchasing the full version of the Drastic emulator for Nintendo DS for NVIDIA Shield TV. I have tried the demo and it works perfectly, just wondering if it escapes ok when used with Hyperspin ? Any info appreciated. Thanks

For the past several months, I haven't been able to update cores in Retroarch for some reason on my Shield TV running Hyperspin. I'll load Retroarch, go to Online Updater, then go to Core Updater. Selecting any of the cores listed does nothing though. I remember when I first set up Hyperspin + Retroarch on my ShieldTV, I'd see a 'updating' message w/ progress bar or percentage at the bottom of the screen whenever I updated. Is something broken in Retroarch? Or am I missing something real obvious here?

Should have posted this here before. Started a project to get my MAME set up properly for MAME4droid reloaded 0.139. Topic is here http://www.hyperspin-fe.com/topic/28041-mame-0139-project/ If anyone has this setup already please let me know. Agent47 is currently sorting a DB that has all metadata for for games from MAME 139 listxml (without bios files and non working games) I will then try to add crc info off my set with some code of his. Then it's a case of renaming and organising all the wheel art to match. I think MAME Dev are going to do an android app but I like the simplicity of 139 and not falling behind with updating every month.

cant seem to figure this one out... Sega CD. I can launch the games just fine and everything plays just fine. Once I exit retroarch and come back into hyperspin... it freezes. Only thing I can do to fix it is force close. I have tried some different sega cd themes different cores in retroarch... but does it every time. Anyone seen something similar at some point? All my other games launch and exit just fine no issue.

I installed yabause instead of retroarch because retroarch was slow emulation. When I installed yabause it plays game from app but won't thru hyperspin.
