Every time I enable the HLSL on in hyper-launch i get a black screen, cannot find a way to resolve it, is either the mame version issue or my motherboard-GPU problem? I would be thankful for any info

I've been trying to get SSF emulator to run in Hyperspin all day but i keep hitting a brick wall. I have DTLite 10.3 installed & Everything is setup in RLauncher. When i launch a game it starts to unzip the game but after it unzips i get the following error. Mount Switch System Error and then i get "Unmount" switch syntax error when i hit escape.Any ideas folks. The games work fine outside Hyperspin/RLauncher.

As the title suggests, I am hoping that someone might know if there is a way for me to set MAME up so that all the MAME games launched from HyperSpin play with slowed CPU. I know that you can access a menu via '~' on the keyboard while in a MAME game and use the arrow keys to find the CPU setting and adjust it to slow overall game play, but I was hoping someone knew of a way for me to set it up so I don't have to do that every time I start a game. Thanks!

This is frustrating to do this myself so I'm asking on here for help, OK so NullDC runs and it's configured and it even launches in hyperlauncher however when I try to launch a dreamcast game in hyperspin it tells me "cannot find Errornulldc.cfg any help is greatly appreciated

When I hit escape on any emulator, it closes it. Completely. I can instantly select another game and viola, boots right up. That's what we love about Hyperspin! However, I'm working on my Nintendo Revolution wheel and whenever I hit escape, Dolphin will close... sort of. Sometimes it does what it's supposed to and I can instantly boot another game. Most of the time though, while it 'closes' the program, and you try to boot another game nothing happens. Further investigation showed rocketlauncher would pop up in the notification area for a split second before disappearing. Hey guys, just wondering if this works at all? I have my aimtrak always plugged in and it does popup when I turn on retroarch but im not sure how to set it up. Plus do I need to change the settings everytime I change to a game that does not require a lightgun?

Is there anyway to set per game settings in Mame? With my old Mame Plus (0.49 I think) there was an option but MameUI doesn't have that option. I'm trying to set the horizontal stretch and position for a game that has a white bar down the right side but I don't want that to affect any other game.

I am successfully able to load ColecoVision games using MESS 0.168, but I can't make them do anything. Some games load to the starting screen (ColecoVision logo, title of game, copyright info etc.) and others just load to a black screen. None of the buttons on my joypad or keyboard do anything. I'm using the setup that gigapig provided in the Platinum download section. Has anyone else had success with this, or am I doing something wrong?

I have dragons lair working fine within daphne and within hyperspin. There are settings for delay between scenes within daphne but no matter what I set them to when playing a game launched from hyperspin it seems to ignore those settings. Is there a file I need to edit to get this working within hyperspin? Also I never seem to get the drawbridge scene. It goes right into him running into the castle. But if I play through daphne I get the drawbridge scene?

I have a romset for mame 0.172 and I wanted a romset for naomi and atomiswave emulators I don't have the files but i saw the sized are the same, reicast would play those mame roms or do i have to have specific ones? I wouldn't want to have alot of duplicates I thought naomi and atomiswave where the same as dreamcast. another question should I use retroarch with reicast core or stick to Nulldc (i heard recast sacrificed accuracy so that it would be faster in android platforms)

Ever since the merge i had problems getting simple as Atari 5200 to run knowng the folder structure and placement might be my problem but i think it goes deeper than that notice enbled cli still on mame2014 my problem is getting it to boot i have mame setup and pointing retroarch to it dont seem to work anymore any suggestions?

When I original setup genesis in hyperspin, I had 26 games I loaded in. All games show up fine in hyperspin. yesterday I downloaded the full set of genesis roms. they work fine when running through just the emulator, but they will not show up in hyperspin. they live in the same folder as the original roms, and those original roms still show up fine. Looking at all the files, the only difference I can see is that the original roms are detailed as "WinRAR zip archive" and the new roms are just listed as "WinRAR archive" is there anything I can do to get the "WinRAR archive" files to show?

I can get visual pinball working with rocket launcher, but when I try to launch it off the main emulator wheel in hyperspin, it just keeps trying to load, but won't launch the vpinball emulator. I know this is probably something simple I'm missing... but I'm going crazy here. Please help!

OK it's almost 5am and Iv'e been messing with this long enough with little luck. First off in any of my systems that use retroarch such as genesis, nes, supernintendo, Nintendo 64 while in retroarch configuring controls though the F1 key I cannot simply save the current config. I get an error at the bottom of the screen. I thought it was a rights issue but I seem to have give my local user as much in the way of rights as I can and still cannot save the confi. I can however do a save new config then overwrite the file in the system with the newly saved file but that's a bit of a pain. Not that big a deal really. But now what's really been killing me is getting my N…

i got a few problems but i will say one for now. I got an iso file and named it properly and put it in a zip file. I named both files properly but hyperspin provides an error when i tried to load stating the extensions were not correct. Did a 7z version still did not load. and i got error messages. rocket launcher labeled it as green in the system audit check but it still will not load. help me please.

I resonantly updated my mame version to 172 and now i can only get one light gun to come up in mame. I think I was running ver 152 did something change with light gun support since this version.

I have Drgon's Lair working and am able to run the game through the daphne loader fine. It's when I'm trying to run it through rocketlauncher to test it I get the following error "ROM dl_f2_ui.bin couldn't be found in roms/lair/, or in ./roms/lair.zip. Read the daphne_log.txt for help. I setup hyperspin to point to the framefiles dir and the daphne.exe. Another issue I have is I can't get rocket launcher to see the dragons lair 2 game either. I can also run that through the daphne loader but rocketlauncher doesn't see I have it. The thing is that the .txt file that you copy to the frames file and edit is different then the one for the regular dragon's lair. Not s…

Hi Guys, whats the best emu to use for SH3 shooters? ive been looking it up but its a bit sketchy as some emulation seems to be supported on mame etc. is there a standalone emu that plays most of them well and is supported by HS?

theres a better way to do this and make the xmls more complete rather then half left out. ive decided what if someone or anyone can post there result that the games work and basically tell which emu works with those games if theres proof the games actually work then we can replace those broken vids from bad to working and include artwork for them if there is none. All im saying is it would be nice to have new updates from broken games to working. However if the games dont work they will remain with a broken vid but if we do get them working and show proof they run then maybe there will be new updates on vids for games which were broken and avalible for play with proof.…
