Hey guys.. Found this board and not sure what luck we may have.. It has an nvidia GPU.. And might be awesome as a kodi/xbmc board, plus with a little help.. Might even run hyper spin (one can dream, can't they?) http://www.giadapc.com/products/mainboard/MI-ION2/24.html Would this be an ideal board for trying to get a hyper spin setup running? As far as I can tell, it has windows support as well as Linux, with a suspected support for android.. It also has referenced an rf remote control, rather than an infrared control and has onboard Bluetooth and wireless N support.. Any advice would be appreciated.. Thanks.

hello everyone! I been trying to troubleshoot this issue for the last couple of days and it's driving me crazy. I was trying to update the hyperspin software and now hyperspin is not responding to my joystick input. everything else works; joytokey is registering my joystick input. what I do notice is that when I open a older hyperspin 1.33 in a separate folder on my desktop the joystick is able to control that hyperspin 1.33. when I open the main hyperspin 1.44 located on my D drive the joystick does not register with that version. I checked HyperHQ as well as HyperLaunch to see if somehow joytostick was pointing to 1.33 instead of 1.44 but didn't see anything. is there a…

Added Cave to my setup, and while the game videos on the sub where are playing, the video on the main menu wheel is not. Something to mention, is that I downloaded all the media on my main computer to test, then transfer to the arcade cab because it's not connected to the internet. Games launch just fine and the only issue is the main wheel video for cave. Vid is in C:/hyperspin/media/main menu/video/Cave.mp4 (with all other system videos) I even put the path in the hyperhq path to flv, even though it's not an flv and it still doesn't work. But it works on the test version of HS... Anything I missed? Maybe I should remove and read …

I have a Two Player Complete Do It Yourself Arcade Kit from x-arcade. In the joytokey program the keys will not indicate yellow. I can not get it to work and there is no good YouTube videos to help me. and I don't know the deferens between frontend profile and rocketlauncher profile? Can someone please help out....... Thanks

Servus, Ich hoffe es kann mir jemand helfen. Ich bin so gesagt ein hyperspin neuling. Hab mir ne funktionsfähige versIon (bluemotion) besorgt. Unter Retroarch den Controller eingerichtet und Roms sowie deren wheel etc Ordner mit dons hyperspin Tool auf Namen überprüft bzw geändert. Alle Roms etc befinden sich im dafür befindeten Ordner. Jedoch wenn ich hyperspin öffne und auf das System geh zeigt es mir nix an außer die romlist ohne Bilder und ich kann keins starten

I'm new to Hyperspin and I've run into a little problem. I have an 'ultrawide' monitor with an aspect ratio of 21:9 and a resolution of 3440x1440. I can understand Hyperspin does not natively support that resolution, but is there any way to force it to run 16:9 (with black bars). Because when I start Hyperspin in fullscreen mode, it's stretching 16:9 output to 21:9 which looks horrible. I've tried fiddling with the Nvidia settings to properly scale the image which worked before on another application (can't remember which one), but it looks like Hyperspin actually stretches its own image to fit the 21:9 aspect ratio before its rendered on the gpu or something because…

I had everything working fine in rocket launcher and hypetspin. I synced my media with hypersync and then started getting this error for every rom I try to Launch in Hyperspin "Cannot find D:\hyperspinModules\Sega 32x\sega 32x .ahk. You do not have the HyperLaunch 2 module for Sega 32x. Please create one of Check Hyperlist." This error comes up for each system I try to play through Hyperspin after using Hypersync. So I did a re-install of RoacketLauncher and hyper spin....had everything working fine AGAIN. Synced everything with Hypersync, and keep getting the same errors after using Hypersync again! I've finally hit a wall with my Saturn setup. I'm using Retroarch with the Mednafen core. While my games boot via the emulator itself and Hyperspin, saving does not seem to work with my zipped games. If I open them via the emulator unzipped it creates the proper files (saves to the ROM directory), however it doesn't generate a save when saved through the zipped game via Hyperspin. When attempting to adjust the Saturn module settings via RocketLauncher when tied to RetroArch leads to this prompt appearing: "Sega Saturn doesn't support specific settings on this module, you'll have to use global ones". I am trying to recover my hyperspin system that has been away for a few months. I decided to do a clean install of rocket launcher and now none of the systems show up that were under the global tab. this has happened before but I don't know how to get it back. Hello everyone! Recently bought/built a new Xtension Arcade Cab. Threw a superpowered laptop in, strapped on the control panel, and away I went! I already had a MAME set up on my other computer, so I ported it over. Here's my dilemma: I have all of the art and videos for a LOT of these games, but I'm missing ROMS. I don't care about them, I just care that I have a couple thousand extra pieces of art being displayed. I would LOVE to cut my XML down, but I cannot for the life of me figure it out. I have a weird problem with Main menu themes and the intro vids. I searched a good while but came up empty. I had some cinematic system themes, which I reverted back to the default main menu system themes. Tried deleting the 'old' sys. theme.zip and video and then updating with hypersync but still comes out not lining up (e.g. Nintendo Game Boy) Also tried different theme files (4:3), (16:9), different videos as well. Never had this problem before. Is there some .ini file somewhere that's keeping certain settings? Any ideas on why this is happening? thomas

Hello All. New to Hyper and loving it. I have a XML list that is working 100% with my rom directory. However, my XML list contains, as an example, 592 game entries and my rom directory 2000+. 1. Is there a tool I can export the actual roms based on the XML to a new directory? Now Im pushing my luck. The same as above, however now add the themes, vids and images and so on. This will really help in cleaning up rom directorys and getting rid of unneeded or broken roms. Regards Derik Pelser. Future Spinner

Hello. I've been following the official video tutorials but obviously wrong because games are not launching. When I select a game, nothing happens. I've googled for the problem and nothing I have found has been of help. It's the same problem for all systems with different emulators. Some details: I use Windows 10 64bit Latest versions of Hyperspin and RocketLauncher installed. Roms have been audited with no problem. It's also can't start any game from HyperLaunch, but when I click on the red rocket button in RocketLauncher UI, it works. Hello, I think my last post got deleted for some reason so I'll try again. I have a game that loads perfectly in MAME .188 out of HS/RL but when launching in HS it gets up to the insert coin splash screen and then goes black after pressing the P1 start button. Are there any settings I can adjust to see if this works? I would have thought that running in HS or using the standalone MAME.188 wouldn't make any difference. Thanks.

So i have a profile for my ipac 2 for Mame. It switches over to this profile when i enter mame but when i exit out to the hyperspin menu it doesn't switch back to _default. So my layout is messed up after i exit mame. To get it back i have to exit to the desktop and run WinIPAC to reset the controls back.

I recently shelled Windows 7 to skip the desktop and go straight into Hyperspin. Since shelling, Hyperspin runs great (preview videos load fine, the UI is responsive, etc.) except when I press Enter to launch a game, it takes 10 seconds or so before the game actually launches. Once in a game, the game runs great. I only have MAME games loaded so I'm not sure if the problem is specific to MAME or if it's universal. Does anyone have any idea why it would take so long to launch a game after shelling? EDIT: It actually seems to only be delaying on the very first game I try to launch. After that, the games seem to load fine.

Hello, I'm pulling my hair out trying to figure out why my hyperspin sound is not working. No preview sounds or wheel sounds. All my media packs are in their respective folders. All of my emulators sounds work perfectly once I start a game? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I'm using the Xtension "Emulator Edition" two-player board with trackball. The board seems to work just fine. And in fact, so does the trackball, outside of HyperSpin on my windows desktop. But as soon as I tick the use trackball option in Hyperspin HQ, things go bad. If I do that, and then launch HyperSpin, the wheel goes crazy. It just spins at like 1000 RPM. Totally out of control, to the point that I have to force the application closed. For what it matters, and just for extra info, I kept the sensitivity to 90%, just as HS HQ stock setting... would lowering the sensitivity help? Or is it another issue all together? Help please, I am in a battle with HS! Problem: I launch HS 1.4 and have no control of the menu from the joysticks (initially) but if I go out to JOYTOKEY and simply highlight any valid profile that has the correct ke mappings and then go back over to the HS instance that is still running I gain control but only until I navigate to a different sub-menu/emulator then I have to do the same thing again to regain control.
