Hi all, I am new to Hyperspin. I have it on my cab, all running with MAME. Everything seems to work, except for the ability to jump through the list. I am viewing all games, and there are a lot. When I try to jump (left or right on the joystick) either, nothing happens, or I end up at the same game that Hyperspin started on. (Cab is an original arcade machine converted, with a JPAC and PC etc) If I hold the joystick over for a while, I get a ?. I can not then select a letter of the alphabet at all. So everything was working yesterday. Today I got and XBOX One controller to replace the 360. It, of course, didn't work so I downloaded JoyToKey and used a tutorial to set it up. I tried to set it up to work with HyperSpin via RocketLauncher per an online guide. The controller was unresponsive. So per the guide I set the path in HyperHQ to JoyToKey and made another profile. Everything is responsive and works great in HyperSpin but when I start a game and at any point press B (which is my default esc for HyperSpin) it will back me out of the game. Anyone ever had this issue?

I am currently using a tankstick in mode 1. It works well, except I cannot exit games back into the HyperSpin front end. I have tried to assign this in HyperHQ to multiple buttons, but cannot get it to work and there really isn't any one button I can assign to be the "Escape" key. Thoughts on what to try next? Thank you!

My HyperHQ has become unstable for reasons unknown. When I try to assign pathways to any hard drve, the pointer flashes, and HyperHQ will shutdown at random time intervals. If I can get the changes made before it crashes, they do save. Hyperspin and Rocketlauncher seem to be uneffected, and other programs accessing the hard drives are likewise uneffected. Just as additional background, I7-2600 machine with 12gb memory. 2 X 2tb and 1 4tb drives. I did run Maleware bytes and hitman over it to rule out any odd malware and came up clean.... Looking on a direction to investigate to fix this.... Neil

Hi All Does anyone know how to change the language for the game wheels? the reason i ask is i got a wheel pack for the 7800 when i installed it into my hyperspin folder and set it all up the controller icon at the bottom of the screen (jump backwards/Forwards etc) comes up in Spanish. the rest of the setup is still English it probably a quick change but any ideas anyone? Is there a way to add a non-parent game as an exception to this setting being enabled? For example, pacman doesn't show up in the hyperspin wheel but puckman (the parent) does. How can I get paceman in this example back? Thanks! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

When I select a game from the wheel it is about 3 seconds before the fade screen starts to show up. How do I make it more instant? I am using the duration default of 500 in the general fade settings. For example, user hits the button on game X, the screen doesn't change for 3 seconds or so and in that time the user may have moved to another wheel location...game X then starts, but the background audio from the new/different wheel is still playing in the background and does not stop. How do I prevent this and more quickly jump to the fade screen while the game uncompresses and loads? Thanks! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

hi everyone. Having a problem having SNES9X staying as full screen stretched. it keeps loading in 4:3. Obviously that is closer to the original but my megadrive set up looks fine full screen so want the same for this. I have opened SNES9x and keep selecting stretched full screen but it just goes fullscreen at 4:3 leaving the big great borders down the side.. I have tried deleting the Conf file, amending where it says "Keep aspect ratio" to false and that still doesn't work. Any ideas? If it helps, I'm getting same / similar blasted problems with PC Engine.. One minute its 4:3 full screen (with borders) next its windowed showing hyperspin behind. thanks…

I cant find an answer anywhere. I fixed the continuous scrolling by disabling the trackball in HyperHQ. But my problem now is I cant get it to start a game. meaning I can scroll through the games menu. I can choose a game by pressing the 1 player button but when it gets to the screen wheres its telling you to press the start button and I hit the player 1 nothing happens. I've checked all my keys and they function in windows fine but for some reason I cant get it to start a game . Any help would be appreciated.

So my question is this: I'm trying to set up Nuon. There is a module for it in the modules folder in a folder titled NUON but RocketLauncherUI won't recognize it. I'm guessing the ahk has been disabled for use with RLUI. If so, is there any way to enable it? Or is it something simple like editing an ini file to add it?

Hey guys Upgrading from 0.170 to latest build, wanting no nag as I've just discovered it. Do you use a mame compiler to pull off this no nag thing or how is it done? I'm using mameuifx at the moment for hyperspin, but if I can get rid of those screens I'll be sooooooooo happy

Hello, I followed the following tutorial to setup my arcade controls in hyperspin with joy2key https://gameroomsolutions.com/hyperspin-controller-setup-with-joytokey-and-gamepad/ I got everything working for the different emulators im using when I set Hyperspin HQ to 'single wheel'. But when I switch to 'multi wheel' somehow my controls dont work anymore. I can't figure out what Im missing. Been trying to get it to work all day... Anyone? Thanks in advance

Hi guys Started working on the trackball side of things in my cab. Wierd thing though. i go into hyper hq > controlls and tick the box for using a track ball. Then i start hyperspin. Most if not all of the times ill select a game but i can quickly see the wheel go up a notch before the game i selected starts to load with the now loading screen. The game i selected loads fine however because the wheel quickly did a jump up the menu the moment i select a game it starts playing the video sounds of that game it jumped too as well as the game sounds i selected resulting in a right old mess. Have i made sense there? Never happens when i untick the use of the trackball

recently i've gotten a few playstation 2 games (really few) and when i run it on my rocketlauncher it works fine. when i load it from hyperspin it also runs fine. however when i set in hyperHQ to "roms only" 1 of the game disappears (soul calibur 2). as i have less than 10 games i can clearly see it missing. however if i dont tick the "roms only" box in hyperHQ i can see it in the wheel and can run it fine too so its not missing in my database. any help would be appreciated~

Hi Guys, I am looking for some advice on manually updating the PCSX2 module, I have asked over at the rocket Launcher forum but have got no answer, I thought maybe someone here could help, Im looking at updating to PCSX2 1.4 and it doesn't work with my current module, I have tried to update using the rocket launcher update function, but it breaks my system, every time I do this my Hyperspin setup says it cant find the PlayStation 2.xml in the RocketLauncherUI folder, I have looked for the file but I cant find it and to be honest I have put so many hours into setting up the whole thing I dont want to mess around, If anyone has any advice on how I can manually update…

Good evening all, I'm writing this post to have some more knowledge about setupping an external Hard Drive to launch Hyperspin. I've made a 29 systems Hyperspin with RocketLauncher. Everything is running smoothly. I wanted to put everything on an external hard drive to use it with friends somewhere else. Every path in RL is a Relative Path ..\, but it seems that it doesn't work at all. Random errors like "Remove . from your extensions", "Couldn't load *.dll" on DeMul.. It seems that it's better to restart from scratch setting everything. Can someone of you give me a hand at least to try to understand more about it? Thanks a lot. W

Dear all, I'd like to have some informations about ROMs and CHDs. I got the full Demul 0.7a Romset with CHDs. I've configured it and everything is ok but I'd like to know how it works. I put two separate folders (Roms and Chds) in RL.. When I audit the games, it find everything except the CHDs, but when I start them from HS it loads without problems. Does the XML file work separately from RL? Does it scan for Folder's Name? How is it working? Thanks. W

My wireless 360 Controller is not working on the hyperspin wheell, yet it works in hyperlaunch setup fine, all keys are recognised apart from the triggers....i dont get it, what else do i need to do? Ive seen posts saying its natively supported by hyperspin now so it should work right?

Hi everyone. I am looking to completely get rid of windows and boot straight into hyperspin.. however, I want it to look like a PROPER arcade machine when turned on... so is there anyway for me to turn the cabinet on, it does its boot up then goes straight into Killer instinct and skip the front end.. however when you exit from killer instinct its all there as normal? many thanks David

Latest hyperspin and rocket launcher using an older version of mame? So i got mame,md,and nes working but when i came to adding my neo geo i got a dll error non existing function error. Now none of the systems work at all. I belive that this is due to outdated files its reading. This is my third time setting hs up in the last month so before i start again i could do with some info on what may be the problem, im following austins guide from a year ago and iv also read comments that he sets it up differently in his vids he dosent delete the moduels or hyperlaunch is this the problem or is it the mame im using thanks

Does any one know how I can set my bios in Demul so the HyperLaunch AHK files does not change it back to Auto Region as it keeps doing I know how to use demul.ini but the actual AHK module keeps changing it back and I cant work out how to set hyperspin to keep it to the one I specify Thanks

Hi. I am having a strange issue with XPadder where if it is started via RocketLauncher with two controllers connected, it won't detect any input until I open the XPadder window and press a button on one of the controllers. This is making it impossible for me to use XPadder for any 2 player games. It happens even if the second controller is not used, but the issue doesn't occur when I have only one controller connected. I am using Windows 10 pro (Anniversary update installed, unfortunately), the latest version of XPadder (2016.05.01) and two Xbox One controllers.
