The HyperSpin 2 beta is here!

We’re starting the first public testing phase with Platinum Members to keep the scope manageable while we test the current feature set and begin to add more. In the future, we’ll provide a version for basic members as well.  On behalf of the entire HyperSpin team, we look forward to another exciting adventure with our community.

Well that's it for my hs venture

Had you worried didn't i.....nah instead of me my pc now burnout, first my drive crashed, added a new one and did a fresh install of windows. Then my videocard died. And after that it crashed and told me it had a power surged and my cpu died. Now it isn't booting at all......so i won't be MIA but my pc will for the next 12 weeks. After that i will get a new one. So i will be on vacation cheers and see you then lol.

That's what happens when turn your house into a marijuana factory. You have to upgrade to fuse box and wiring or boom.

I recently got and new gpu from MSI a week before the warranty ran out. Some ram vendors have lifetime warranties as well. All depends if you want new kit though.

The air here in the arctic is so dry that even with three nebulizers going non-stop and all of my electronics plugged into the beefiest surge protectors I can find, everytime anyone touches anything metal in the winter it sends a shock to them strong enough to kick the tv off for a split second. Drives me nuts. ><

Trough, simple power block with surge protection, but it sounds like a broken PSU that gave power spikes. That might account for all failures as well as the pc thinking it was a power surge.

avar, you live in the arctic circle? Sub-zero you had me worried there, Thought you were jumping ship. Bummer about the rig though.

Sub won't leave us out in the cold forever. We'd miss his colorful personality too much! his artwork is nice too though

Ah... tough luck. Sorry to hear that.

I had a similar situation a couple of years ago with a shuttle system I had crammed a full sized video card into and pushed the thing to its breaking point for years. You could actually hear the PSU crackling under the stress of the heat. The whole case would be hot to the touch. :)
