Taito Type X and Hyperlaunch 3.0

I just wanted to get clarification that Taito Type X is working fine in the New RocketLauncher...

In the PC Launcher.ini...I am pointing the script to the bat files

eg:

[super Street Fighter IV]

Application=C:\Hyperspin\Games\Taito Type X\Super Street Fighter IV\Super Street Fighter IV.bat

AppWaitExe=game.exe

I seem to be getting an issue where the game starts fine but after 20 seconds closes and the Hyperlaunch "now loading page appears"

Any help appreciated

second is my sfiv not the arcade one but the normal one, it loads....and stays for 2 minutes on the bootscreen, and then it will play. is this normal? its the 1player version. the 2player version is nagging about the link thats not there.

You may be setup as a slave.

Start the game and then fit F3 (if that doesn't work setup your Test and Service keys in the config), use F3 to select "System Options" from the menu and press F1 to enter that section.

Change peer type to Master, then exit back out to the game.

This pic is SFiv it hangs 2 minutes......then it starts, i try to put the settings correct, like you told me...but the where already set like that.

i see its the 1 player (is that the problem)?

and here are the others, the bezels where off, i put them on, in the main setting of HL for ttx. no difference:(

pic 1 & 2 are BBCT and 3 & 4 are BBCS, those 2 are the only 2 with have this problem.... i tried everything(i think;-))

Ok that's familiar, you'll need to use a different loader which you can find here.

You'll need to grab 158 game loader and extract Game Loader All RH into each game folder, you may also need ttx_config2.0 as well to set controls.

When you run Game Loader All RH it creates an ini file called TTX.ini where you can set it up. I have supplied one for you to give the best image quality, but if it causes you trouble just delete it and run the loader again.

you're the MAN GIGA:D this did the trick.. btw the ttx did complete nothing but a error and black screen. but thank you for trying to give me a nice image quality!

the shift game did give a strange type of config screen, a copy of the controls did not work, so i did open it on my other pc(the config file) and looked what key is to program. (sorry for the bad english)

There is now only 1 that is a problem...the sfiv it still needs 2 minutes to boot.:(

My SSFIV v2012 has Spanish (or maybe Portuguese?) language sub titles and stat pages. is this typical or is it just the version I've got? I've yet to find any settings to change this.

Someone else pointed that out to me, I'm pretty sure I fixed it with a different file or something.

Hi all,

I have all my taito type x games set up fine on my bartop arcade. I am just building a vertical arcade cabinet and want to setup a few in full screen vertical mode. Can anyone help me change / stop the rotation of games when launched and also how do you change the resolution of the games ?

Monitor running in Landscape and 1920x1080

You can probably just use djvjs' files in his ftp for the vertical games without rotation. Drop them in the game folder and point to the bat file via the PCLauncher module.

If it upside down "someone" ;) may be able to supply a script to flip it the other way.

Resolution is a bit varied between the games, some have a file called Gameres.dat or another which name escapes me atm, or some can't be changed as far as I know; like Arcana Heart 3.

You can add different exe's for HD but you may need to use Game Loader All RH with those.

How is your windows desktop setup? I found that nearly all of my games and emulators were happiest with windows NOT rotated (so it looked sideways on your vertical screen). Hyperspin itself seems to be the only app that doesn't like that.

Hi gigapig. I have a weird problem (Hopefully it's a minor one never know with HyperSpin.) I followed your 30 minute Taito Type X tutorial and currently have a few games finally running, thanks to your Youtube video and FTP folder with TTX files. My issue is, when I copied your PCLauncher.ini into the HyperLaunch Module folder, every game shows up, except Super Street Fighter IV Arcade Edition (PCLauncher.ahk global settings editor rom settings in the module tab for TTX.) Now I can get SSFIVAE to show up in HyperLaunchHQ if I hit the green plus sign but then when I go to config a new system or just shut down HyperLaunchHQ and relaunch it, Super Street Fighter Arcade Edition disappears in the rom settings list where you set the game paths, fadelist etc (Everytime.)

Here's how my PCLauncher.ini looks. Thanks in advance.

Hi gigapig. I have a weird problem (Hopefully it's a minor one never know with HyperSpin.) I followed your 30 minute Taito Type X tutorial and currently have a few games finally running, thanks to your Youtube video and FTP folder with TTX files. My issue is, when I copied your PCLauncher.ini into the HyperLaunch Module folder, every game shows up, except Super Street Fighter IV Arcade Edition (PCLauncher.ahk global settings editor rom settings in the module tab for TTX.) Now I can get SSFIVAE to show up in HyperLaunchHQ if I hit the green plus sign but then when I go to config a new system or just shut down HyperLaunchHQ and relaunch it, Super Street Fighter Arcade Edition disappears in the rom settings list where you set the game paths, fadelist etc (Everytime.)

It's definatly in your PCLauncher.ini, can you launch it from HyperSpin or even from an audit? Is it at the bottom of the list and you can't scroll down?

hi gigapig, i was following the tutorial. On the video at min 3:25 there are 27 game folders, but in your ftp archive only 25 (missing dir for otomedius and Streetfighter IV..are not more needed or can you update ftp archive?).

One more thing, i don't understand why returnfocus.exe is needed, whad doeas it do? i have to configure it for all games?

Your correct the are no additional files required for those games.

The return focus script is only required if you have issues returning to Hyperspin and gaining control after you exit a game.

When I do an audit I get the red screen which means none of them will launch (Obviously) but I am able to launch them from the global settings/romsettings tab. I have not come up with a solution for this either. I watched your video three times maybe you can get specific or in depth about how I can make sure my games will audit properly and most importantly how to get SSFIVAE in the rom settings list. Hyperspin won't play it due to this. This is ironically, the first game I got working in Taito Type X outside of HL.

But did you notice that Super Street Fighter IV Arcade Edition is not in my list (Set specific Rom Settings.) I get the screen below after pressing the big green plus sign, that allows me to load up Super Street Fighter IV after double clicking it in the list, in the middle of the pic below. It adds SSFIVAE to the list and I can even launch from here but then it disappears every time I close HyperLaunchHQ or even select another system on the left, then going back to Taito Type X system. How can I fix this issue?
