Taito Type X and Hyperlaunch 3.0

I just wanted to get clarification that Taito Type X is working fine in the New RocketLauncher...

In the PC Launcher.ini...I am pointing the script to the bat files

eg:

[super Street Fighter IV]

Application=C:\Hyperspin\Games\Taito Type X\Super Street Fighter IV\Super Street Fighter IV.bat

AppWaitExe=game.exe

I seem to be getting an issue where the game starts fine but after 20 seconds closes and the Hyperlaunch "now loading page appears"

Any help appreciated

Hi guys.

I'm already quite sure, but I'd like to have the confirmation from TTX experts.

Is it possible to run Half Life arcade at a lower resolution? I'm talking about 640x480.

It seems that Volumetric already told it is not possible:

I have a problem with SFIV,when i close the game (only SFIV,the others works fine) hyperspin isnt active,i need press alt+tab to activate the frontend for continue to browse...any solution ??

It's possible, but the HUD and Menus don't resize, so they will look wrong...

Hey guys,

After going through all 126 pages of this thread and doing major forum searches, I am still at a loss trying to get KOF XIII to boot. I have every other game running except that one. It loads the console, loads the window, then says "Game.exe has stopped working" then shuts to my desktop. Everywhere I have read has made it seem like it is an easy click and launch. I have tried using the files on the FTP and get the same result. Running as admin, with Japanese locale, and with different loaders all do the same.

Any insight as to how to get this running would be awesome. My system is Windows 8, Intel i7-2600k 3ghz, ati radeon 6950 and nvidia geforce 9400 gt.

KOF XIII always work without problems with amd cards, I have test it in three systems (A core2duo with an ATI 3650, A8-5800k and A10-6800K , the only game i can´t play it´s Maximum Impact 2 in windows 8, only In Samurai Shodown have a graphics problem with swords.

I have 2 cards because I dual boot Mac and Windows on the machine I am building my hyperspin drive on. Mac doesn't have full support for the ATi so I need the nVidia to have a fully functioning "hackintosh pro". I have another 6950 for the cab so it will be the same graphics on both systems. I dont have all the parts for the cabs PC just yet so I can't build on that machine itself.

It is possibly a Windows 8 issue. I have also been running into issues with Pop'N Music Tune Street which I am convinced is due to windows 8. I got MI2 to load to the show the insert coin screen, but then it crashes.

I can get KofXIII to work, but the sprites are all distorted. I can play it fully, but damn does messed up sprites make it tough. Any solutions to this? I got every other game working 100% for the most part.

Maybe it is already answered, but I can't find it:

Is there a problem with irotate and Windows 8.1?

I can get the games running, but if I activate irotate the screen turns black and my computer freezes. Maybe it is related to the graphics card I use atm? It is an Quadro K6000 which ich quite rare, I think.

Does irotate work outside of HS? I had same kind of problem when testing on w8.1 with my dual monitor setup.

I ended up with this:

Run %comspec% /c "irotate.exe /1:rotate=180 /exit"

You can also try display.exe (see \HyperLaunch\Module extensions\) But it was a little buggy with some emulators.

Run %comspec% /c "display.exe /rotate:90"

Also try to rotate the screen from inside the Quatrto software panel and see if that works.

Anyone else had problems launching kofXIII in windows 8.1? mine says game.exe stopped working.

Also with Deamon Bride and Arcana heart 3, the music starts but then quickly stops.

iRotate outside hyperspin leads to the same problem. The screen turns black and the computer freezes. I have to hard-reset and reboot. I have not tried display.exe but I will do it this evening. Rotating the screen inside the quadro software works well. I will check the NVAPI documentation and check if there are any options.

Sorry to be back with another problem. But I'm running into a problem with Otomedius. Here's the problem. I have it working on perfectly on my home server which is where I built my hyperspin-fe to archive (it's on a raid 5). I moved my home server build of hyperspin to my actual arcade computer. All of the TTX games work just fine except Otomedius. When I try to run Otomedius I receive the following errors. bms_GGG.exe has stopped working and otomedius.exe has stopped working. When I click the close application button on bms_GGG.exe error message a new dialog box pops up that says "bms_GGG.exe - Application Error with a bright white X in a red circle with the following error "The application was unable to start correctly (0xc0000005). Click OK to close this application."

Anyone seen this error or heard what the fix is? This is my last TTX games that I have to get back up and running. (Unless there's new TTX games that are now working) :)

You've checked my Otomedius video guide? All I remember is having to have an f drive on the host machine and perhaps going in to service mode and turning off e-musement.

Gigapig - yeah, I set up an F: Drive on the computer. But I don't get to a point to even enter service mode. It literally crashes immediately... Click on the launcher and it immediately crashes with the above errors. I'll watch the video again just to see if I'm missing something. But I have it working just fine on the other computer so... not sure what's up.

Just in case, I just found this in an archive search a post message from urbangangsta101.

Also, why are people using USB drives for drive F:\ to have Otomedius work/save? You can just share a local folder and map to it as drive F:\

make a folder in the Otomedius folder called 'save'. Right click the folder and go to properties-sharing-advanced sharing. Tick the box for 'share this folder' and change the permissions for 'Everyone' so they have full read/write access. Then go to my computer and map a network drive to F. The path is \\pcname\foldername

I no longer have an F drive, or maybe it's the bluray drive without a disc in, so I may try this if I can.

Hi there hyperspinners, is what giga always tell in the video's man what a good guide is the Taito type x video!

well done giga! everything is almost running perfect , almost;)

i have a isue with both blazblue games, the start perfect and close perfect, but the screen is (looks out of sync) not in the middle and i shows the thin uper box of the game...looks not full screen.

is there someone who can point me in the right direction?

second is my sfiv not the arcade one but the normal one, it loads....and stays for 2 minutes on the bootscreen, and then it will play. is this normal? its the 1player version. the 2player version is nagging about the link thats not there.

i have read al the 128 pages here:afraid: but cant find the solution.

hope you guys can help me.

ps is it normal that some games are not full screen and looks like a 16:9 screen? i use a 4:3 monitor

I'm nit sure I understand the first question, do you have a screen shot? Do you have an AMD GPU? Not good with Blaz.

or are you trying to run it in a bezel?
