In the PC Launcher.ini...I am pointing the script to the bat files eg: [super Street Fighter IV] Application=C:\Hyperspin\Games\Taito Type X\Super Street Fighter IV\Super Street Fighter IV.bat AppWaitExe=game.exe I seem to be getting an issue where the game starts fine but after 20 seconds closes and the Hyperlaunch "now loading page appears" Any help appreciated
majorspawn Posted March 5, 2014 Posted March 5, 2014 So a couple of days ago I got some new wii plus remotes, which then caused me to have to install the toshiba bluetooth stacks. I never understood the whole bluetooth messes with type x, as I have never disabled it, and has all been relatively smooth sailing. (personally, I had a more difficult a time setting up Touhou) So for ghits and shiggles I decided to check on "my babies", and to my dismay mostly nothing is running. So, i fire up the ol' disable bluetooth... still doesn't work. I notice only (for the most part) games with Game Loader All RH work. I spent most of the day re-going through/testing all of em and I've noticed strange resolution problems for the vertical games. I resolved by doubling the size of the bezels. The only outstanding issues that remain are: Pop'n Music 19 Tune Street (which I had working) will not get past the initializing screen. It will only load with RH, and even then it won't allow me to enter the blue screen where it asks you to go to the test menu. it just crashes. Trying to find anything info on this has been proving difficult. The last oddity is Taisen Hot Gimmick 5. I set the keymappings, but ONLY enter Coins works...can't for the life of me make sense of that.Anywho, if anyone has any guidance on my ramblings, I'd be much obliged. If not, no worries. im surprised you could permanently pair the wiimotes with the built in motion plus. from my experience these cant be paired permanently only the old ones in my tut. That would be worth trying. it does connect via the toshiba stack (only one RVL-CNT-01-TR controller) and I am able to disconnect and re-pair. But there are some weird errors I need to sort out listing the same controller in the each time it pairs. but this is promising. ... man we've got off topic. Perhaps start a new thread?

Rick74 Posted March 14, 2014 Posted March 14, 2014 (Since this seems like the most active place to talk about Taito Type X issues, I'll bring this up here, in the event that no one saw my other post) My issue is with Samurai Shodown Sen and what is supposedly a bug with AMD/ATI video cards. I wanted to see if anyone else has these issues and if there was a fix. So, the swords and characters hair are transparent... I've found the fix using an updated SSED_launcher.exe, but now the intro video and cut scenes have no video, just audio. Anyone have any suggestions, besides buying an Nvidia card? (which I plan to do as soon as there's a single slot, low profile GT750ti available) Thanks!

It doesn't matter where it goes as you need to point to it, but you have it in the best place. and how is it with half life 2 survivor can you exit normal in hyperlaunch? Never ever set HL2 up, so I don't know. Is it causing a problem?

You have to set the AppWaitExe to hl2.exe and then the exit method should be Force Close AppWaitExe. Check my FTP folder, i put a simple launcher up and a PDF with all the info i have on that game, including the PCLauncher.ini config settings.

I'm having this same problem with that game on Windows 8 64 bit. with BBCT and Spica Adventure I'm also having a few other wired issues BBCS pauses whenever I push the alt key, which is problematic because I'm using JPAC with default mappings... so thats button 2 for player 1. Samurai Shodown works fine except player 2 controls wont work at all, I've tried several different methods of remapping, as well as the original mapping but it just ignores P2 start Also KOF Regulation A boots and shows the criware and SNK/Playmore logos but then goes black and freezes up. forcing me to have to force close through task manager. On my Win 7 laptop KOFRA gets a little farther where it shows the intro video/attract mode but then crashes as soon as I push any buttons. ------------- FWIW my machine is a i3 3.4GHz, 8GB Ram and a GTX580. It would be greatly appreciated if anyone has any advice on how to get by these issues EDIT: I managed to fix BBCT and Spica Adventure by changing the launch resolution to 640x480 in the settings.arc file I'm still having problems with the other games listed though...

I've installed HS as it should be done, am on the latest version of HS & HL, have added systems like GBA, Atari 5200 etc to my HS by learning how to do so...I've edited XML's to include games that aren't listed in them by default, & have learned how to set up a virtual drive in conjunction with HS for image loading etc...so while still very much a noob, I've accomplished a fair bit since I started a few months ago. Which brings me to today, I'd like to finish my setup by adding TTX. I've added a Taito Type X system & wheel, using HyperHQ. Within HyperlaunchHQ I've set pclauncher as the global emulator, & set the default emu for TTX as pclauncher. That's as far as I've gotten, so have a fundamental question before continuing...I can't find anywhere a TTX xml which includes the games list...I assume I need one? I've read quite a few pages of this thread, & it seems like I'm a few steps behind most people in terms of this setup, in terms of fadetitle etc. I'll deal with those issues when I get to them, but for now I'm not sure how to give HyperlaunchHQ a list of the games for this system. Any help would be appreciated!
