I have no puns.  What I do have is a are a very particular set of skills; skills I have acquired over a very long career. Skills that make me a nightmare for people like you guys. If you all get back to work, that'll be the end of it.

 

Also, I am nearing my media collection.  Have about 17 systems left but I am sure there are many places that I have not looked or do not have access to that has much of what I am missing.  Honestly it is amazing how much has been done.

I seriously have no idea what has been done, wat is left to do, how many systems left or even how many systems exist. I just know we keep pumping out media and if not something new, then improving something already done.

It does.  But I will have to recode the sheets as I upgraded to Excel 2016 and the vb code no longer works.  I will figure that out once I am done though so no worries.

im currently working on sorting/collecting PSX discs

i sorted all the ones we got from moby games  and now im currently marking off which ones we have on a spreadsheet to see which ones we still need to find.

Now that the WiiWare wheels are done, I'll be helping to finish the Game Boy Color wheels.

I uploaded the WiiWare alternate wheels (81) today and also
updated the OP of this thread somewhat, still needs some TLC.

A few of us are going to work on the WiiWare video snaps and
will be submitting them over at EmuMovies.

I'll be auditing/updating the WiiWare boxsets, as well as helping
to finish up the Game Boy Color Wheel set and record vid snaps.

Two questions, what is final burn alpha? And are the missing media the ones labeled with blank cells and no category?

Final Burn Alpha is based on older versions of MAME.  It has the goals of running certain systems better than MAME and as a result only runs a few arcade systems (although most of the ones that you would want to play are included).  It is for all intents and purposes a faster running, less accurate version of MAME.  Now that computers tend to run faster and have better processors it is my completely uneducated belief that it is no longer needed.  It was created at a time when processors could not run certain games due to the MAME development team's undying resolve to emulate 100% accurate cycles.  I believe that Neo Geo games were the main driving force behind this.

 

Also, if games run slow with mame on your system, use FBA, it might help.

The vids are more a EmuMovies thing. You're better off working over there on those. We don't host any vids.

On GIMP, well uh, I just feel gimp using that program. It's UI is horrible imo. But to each it's own I guess. As long are the cuts are good, without fringing and being pixely, it doesn't matter what program you use.
