After seeing the SNK Neo Geo CD database being posted I thought the database work of recent months has gone a little under the radar. Just wanted to give thanks to all those involved and wondered if @tonesmalone wouldn't mind dropping in with a little update on how things are going as there is no one thread  for it. So much has been done I'm counting  56 db's updated to 2.0 status & 15 in development!!!! That's amazing stats

The hyperspin project was something that the newer members might not be familiar with. People could work on anything they wanted. A lot of stuff got finished, but the idea was to not release anything until a system was 100% finished. This resulted in years of work never being released. As far as I know, nothing from that project has ever been released to the public.

The person running that project got in a conflict and left HS

When the wiiware snaps are ready for submission, do you put them in the submission folder where there are like 100 videos under alpha?

Can't wait huh? And yeah that's where we put them all.

Man your scrips seem handy!

Somehow gotta team up on this.

Maybe we could use the copy function in Google sheets and have shared edit access to the copies. Keep the originals cleaner

i would rather find the art as I go although your art has only come from this site, HS FTP or Hypersync

Renamed and cleaned the folders.

I have collected sets from different places and although they are all HS, there are many different naming conventions to each of the files.  I am trying to cut out all the files that do not belong and my current process is tedious at best BUT, the sheet linked above has been updated with all the renames that I could make.

Now sitting at

System Name Total Games 3D Box 3D Cart Box Art Cart Art Wheels Themes Videos
Sony PSP 1081 62.63% 0.00% 1.57% 58.09% 80.57% 0.00% 15.82%

These folders have been cleaned so this is everything I have.  Have not synced in about a month though due to data caps at the house.

We finished the GBC wheel set, that'll be released after JayC's final inspection. :)
(don't let me forget to update our links on the sheet and the OP here)

Yeuxkes and I started on PC Engine wheels. I'm also working on the WiiWare covers and
I want to help audit all the media we do have, just don't have a plan for that yet.

I've been working on 2D cover sets lately for my launchbox setup.  I just finished the Sega Genesis set to match the 3D set. I have have a complete SNES set although some 90 covers still need to be redone in higher res. Aside from that, I've been busy with sets for the Atari 7800, Coleco Vision, Virtual Boy, Sega CD and I've cleaned up and retouched flyer sets for Taito Type X, Atomiswave, Sega Model 2 and 3.

Should I dump what I have in the vault? I don't want to upload them to this site at this point. Some people here are perfectionists and to be honest, i don't even know if I'm using the latest databases.

I know everyone wants 3D sets but we don't seem to have any decent 2D sets. Even for themes that use covers they are useful.

Great effort mate! 2D sets all the way!

As good as the 3D sets are,  it bugs me that they never match each other...different angles, perspectives etc...
