floatingyeti Posted June 28, 2014 Posted June 28, 2014 Well I wanted to quickly setup Mugen but got distracted for weeks and ended up with a 115 game database with complete wheels and video. I even made a genre setup (yes they are all fighters but made sub-categories) I even went so far as to unify the controls and setup fullscreen for all 115 and was going to upload the full lot but its 45gb! uploaded all games to emumovies folder Floatingyeti/Mugen includes my xpadder profile so you don't have to configure controls
brolly Posted June 28, 2014 Posted June 28, 2014 If not here, you can probably upload them to Emumovies since Deadly already uploaded a collection there before. Would be better if you compress each game in a separate file though in order to spare the server bandwidth otherwise everyone will be downloading a 45GB file even if they only want a couple of games.
shinobi68 Posted June 28, 2014 Posted June 28, 2014 Hi, The emumovies ftp have more space, and perhaps you can upload it there. There is already a mugen pack uploaded in deadly's folder at emumovies. But your pack seem to be more complete. So you can ask circo if there is enough space at emumovies. It would be great if you can share it, i'm very interested in this pack! Thanks Editing: Brolly wrote exactly the same message as I wrote this...
fire10 Posted June 28, 2014 Posted June 28, 2014 This is superb Floatingyeti thanks for sorting it and please let us know when its shared

floatingyeti Posted June 28, 2014 Author Posted June 28, 2014 I may upload overnight tonight (maybe longer than overnight with upload speeds)
zerojay Posted July 1, 2014 Posted July 1, 2014 Man, just when I thought I had already seen all the horribleness MUGEN has to offer. Thanks a bunch for uploading these.
floatingyeti Posted July 1, 2014 Author Posted July 1, 2014 there are some interesting and unique games. Check out Steel Warriors the Metal Slug vehicle fighter or Dungeons and Dragons Mugen beatemup. I lost many hours exploring the ridiculous amount of characters in Superheroes Mugen. I had fun putting this together but I'm so glad its finally done and uploaded.
marxkemp Posted July 6, 2014 Posted July 6, 2014 This is great, but does anyone have a mugen.ini for the module? I don' t use the provided shortcut files (don't know how, because i guess we all use different paths).
yashijoe Posted July 6, 2014 Posted July 6, 2014 If we use shortcut files do we name the ext to lnk? Yes, but as I know, if you use lnk files you have to put games in the same letter drive and subfolders as floatingyeti has done in his pc. Cause they are links. I'm using the pc game configuration.
HazzardActual Posted July 7, 2014 Posted July 7, 2014 I dont want to sound like a total dickweed but whats the address for the emumovies ftp? I want these games.
floatingyeti Posted July 7, 2014 Author Posted July 7, 2014 can't you use the pc launcher module with lnk instead of txt or just change lnk to txt? Does that make sense? I use the old pc launch method but the module method should still work.

I use the old pc launch method but the module method should still work. Yes you can. It's just a matter of pointing a dummy file. But anyway the pcluncher ini file must be filled in the proper way.
floatingyeti Posted July 7, 2014 Author Posted July 7, 2014 could someone create the ini and upload it to my folder to make this set more accessible? I would appreciate that.
yashijoe Posted July 7, 2014 Posted July 7, 2014 I'm making it. Once finished I'll post it. If somebody is faster then me can post it before.
dragon57 Posted July 7, 2014 Posted July 7, 2014 could someone create the ini and upload it to my folder to make this set more accessible? I would appreciate that. I just uploaded the ini to your directory that I created last night. Check it out and see if it is what you are looking for. I merged the contents of both Mugen archives from Emumovies into the ini file and manually edited some of the file names, so there may be some disparities which require a bit of tweaking on your end, but hopefully not much.
marxkemp Posted July 7, 2014 Posted July 7, 2014 He, dragon! i've seen what you've done here, maybe you could share your database (and other files) also, for example in your own directory. nice stuff
sportsfan949 Posted July 8, 2014 Posted July 8, 2014 Great post Yeti, can't wait to get it set up. Im no xpadder expert and I see the xpaddercontroller files. Do we need the .xpadderprofile file also? Thanks again.
floatingyeti Posted July 8, 2014 Author Posted July 8, 2014 I configured all the games to use that xpadder config using it will save a lot of time.
dragon57 Posted July 8, 2014 Posted July 8, 2014 He, dragon! i've seen what you've done here, maybe you could share your database (and other files) also, for example in your own directory. nice stuff OK, the only other file I have finished up is the database file. It is located in /Upload Here/dragon57/databases/Mugen. I tried to track down the missing author information for the ones that needed that info, along with the year, but some were very hard to dig up, so take the info I put in with a very large grain of salt. If you see any errors, please let me know so I can update the file.
floatingyeti Posted July 8, 2014 Author Posted July 8, 2014 the problem with mugen is that there can never be a final database. It nearly drove me mad for a few weeks. I worked on this as much as I could stand (if you have ocd tendencies beware ). But thanks for helping this evolve. I wonder if we should just move my mugen folder to the main uploads directory (Uploads/Mugen) and just all commit to one location?
