sic Posted November 4, 2014 Posted November 4, 2014 Not the disc image, I get drive error. I have a .t64 version that works. Thanks for letting me know. Time to switch to .T64 version then
wahoobrian Posted November 4, 2014 Posted November 4, 2014 Has anyone got Biggles to work? The disk version should work if you select "True Drive Emulation" under Options. However, when you do that, also make sure you have a 1541 drive selected under Settings | Drive Settings | Drive 8 | 1541. I just verified that works for me. The "True Drive Emulation" setting will be a rom option for the WinVICE module when the next HL is released. I'm using WinVICE v2.4
klizine Posted November 4, 2014 Posted November 4, 2014 Yay....can't wait till the next HL is released!

klizine Posted November 5, 2014 Posted November 5, 2014 Has anyone started on making a video set for this would be great to have the videos I have some vids I made for an old set, that may not be of emu vids quality and definitely aren't named correctly. ..

dougan78 Posted November 6, 2014 Author Posted November 6, 2014 A little "bug" report. Just saw that the wheelart for Wizball is actually a boxcover. I was wondering about that. Saw that last night. It just used the amiga wheel. It is fixed now.
DamnedRegistrations Posted November 6, 2014 Posted November 6, 2014 I just made a couple test vids with WinVICE and FRAPs, recorded fine except for when the screen was static. It didn't want to start actually recording until the screen refreshed or there was movement, weird. Anyway even with just this subset of roms (the full project database looks huge) and after fixing some vid titles that were renamed incorrectly, there are 927 missing vids from this set. Yikes.

Yikes. Ummm....yeah.... 927. That is monsterous. We have pngs for the time being. i love c64 but even i draw the line some where. On the plus side i am close to having the command done to batch convert all the manuals to pdfs with the correct name.
dougan78 Posted November 6, 2014 Author Posted November 6, 2014 Well, some feedback from c64 lovers is requested on this Manual stuff. Here is what I did: 1. Rename Manual Folders to take out spaces and use _ in place of space with bulk rename. 2. Use Image Magick Convert.exe 3. Run this command on Manuals folder: for /f %f in ('dir /b') do convert "C:\Hyperspin\Hyperlaunch\Media\Manuals\Commodore 64\%f\*.jpg" "c:\Hyperspin\Hyperlaunch\Media\Manuals\Commodore 64\%f\%f.pdf" 4. Rename Manuals and Manual folders removing _ and put spaces back in. 5. Review the awesomeness that is the manuals. Now the gotcha, is the fact that some games, Gateway to the Savage Frontier for example, have Adventurers Journal, Rulebook, etc. Those are combined into 1 PDF. How big of a deal is that? Should I take this all a step further and separate those out? If you are looking for space savings you won't find any, convert.exe just combines the images and dumps them through a PDF stream as is. I did not want to lose any quality any way so in my Gateway to the Savage Frontier example the JPGs are 42megs and the PDF is 42 megs. Let me know any feed back. I am on the fence as to if it matters. Edit my initial thought is 1 pdf on a cab is easier to deal with. No loss pdf quality so if someone wants to bust the pdf up they can. May be hard to find maps or something later but i made a best effort to put that stuff in inserts under artwork instead.
