So how did you get such good pictures of your cabinet? I am struggling to get a good picture of the cabinet and the playfield. Looks like you did use a flash correct? Did you use a bounce flash off the ceiling?

Hey Volley,

there are pics with and without flash. Without flash I use a tripod. Moreover, my Panasonic DMC-FZ28 has a very good automatic-mode.

Did you use a bounce flash off the ceiling?

No, just a normal flash. Take the pic a little bit sideways, so the flash isnt 100% visible in the pictures.

Hey Chris,

What 30" LCD did you put in your cab? Did you decase it? Any chance you could give the inside dimension of the top part of the cab? I'm trying to figure out what I can put into a similar widebody cabinet and it's tough to find 30" LCD's, most are 32".

Thanks!

the 30" comes from ebay, it's a noname 720p lcd-tv with dvi-input. and yes, you have to decase it... here are some pics, fits perfectly:

the inside dimension of the backbox is 69.5cm (width).

Noticed you sprayed the metal frame of the LCD chriz, were u able to take the frame off to spray it, or did you just mask the screen up?

Cool, did u spray or brush it on. Also do you just have just glass on the back and or bezel aswell to cover the frame, or can you see the fram through the glass as its black?

I sprayed it black (dull finish). It fits so perfectly, its nearly invisible due to the small metalframe and the black paint. there is no additional bezel necessary.

heres a bigger pic...

ordered some inexpensive mercury switches which I received today. got the tip here in the forums.

I use it for front(top) nudging. works very well so far :) love those miniswitches.

Hey Chris,

I keep coming back to your cab to help in guiding decisions for my cab. You've got a sweet setup here!

Did you happen to take measurements of the decased 46" and the decased 30". Also what model of SHARP LCD did you use?

Thanks.
