maxxsinner
But that still only allows for 10 LEDs and if I am not mistaken you have 5 RGB so 5x3 = 15?. I just ordered 20 resistors for my 5 Cree LEDs and was looking back over your thread when I saw your resistors, wondered what trick there was that I didn't know about... lol
chriz99
I use 15 of these now and the 5 cree white ones I wired parallel to the knocker for nice blinder effect (with 5 extra resistors)
maxxsinner
Thanks Chris and apologies if that was elsewhere on your thread. Buy the time I got to page 100, I had a few beers under the belt.
Dazz
Ugh, I really want to start setting up the LED's on my pin, but I don't have anywhere the knowledge or know how to do this crap... I'd love to have a 5 cree setup, shaker and several solenoids, but I don't have any clue where to start with this.

lettuce
Chriz, do i not need to run a wire to one of the 32 screw terminals on the led-wiz, or is the brown wire what the one that controls it??, if so what terminal is it using....terminal 4?? Also is there a diagram for wiring the wiper motor and also a 230v strobe??
Numiah
The brown wire controls it and is connected to pin 4 of the IC, which represents connection 12 on the blue connectors. After connecting it this way, I'd remove the screw from port 12 so you can't make mistakes.
lettuce
my set-up So, you need to hack into the power cable of the strobe and cut the live wire (brown) and attch either end of the brown wire to the relay?? Thats all thats need to be done the at the strobe end of things?

lettuce
maxxsinner aka ben will write an awesome electronics guide/ledwiz wiring tutorial... stay tuned! Thats good to hear, was going to suggest maybe a sticky thread should be made for wiring diagrams for the shaker, knocker, motor and strobe components. I take it this is the correct way to wire the wiper motor (i know it has the knocker in the pic)..... And just to confirm that you dont need a relay at all if using the Dual H Bridge PCB for the shaker motor??
chriz99
you can connect your 12vdc gear/wiper motor like the knocker in the diagram above. and yes, as i said before, you need no relay if you drive your wolfsoft shaker via the bridge driver board. chriz99
going to be my new highscore on scared stiff this table rocks and the gameplay is fantastic, very close to the real machine! JP did a brilliant job! I think with vp shaker (shaker crate and strobe laboratory) and all other ledwiz toys this table makes more fun than the real deal

maxxsinner
Why bother with reality when virtual is better. I asked that very question to my wife when she asked about the blow up doll on her side of the bed. Discovered she has no sense of humour...... Lucian045
Hey Chriz99, are you using an active backglass on your cab? I was wondering in Scared Stiff when you stop the spider if it lights on the backglass or not? Love your cab man, going to start mine soon. Thanks. chriz99
at the moment I use no UVP active backglass due to performance loss, but I heard that they work on the active spider backglass. maybe we get a visual pinball version with integrated/optimized uvp active backglass server... let's hope
