Link : it's a belgian online shop. I went over there to get my strobe. You'll have to add shippingcosts.

So how do we go about wiring these strobes up, does it have its own 12v lead with plug attached?? Also that link lists the strobe as 130 euros??

You most definitely need a relais as the picture suggests. In the picture you can see your ledwiz is only powering the coil of the relais and the motor has its own 5V supply.

Ledwiz provides 500mA max, without a relais you'll fry your wiz.

That would be possible if the relais doesn't need 12v to make it switch.

What relais are you using ? If it say's 12v on the side, you'll need 12v to the coil of the relais to make it switch on and off. (which is most likely the case)

The 5v is the cable that gets switched on-off and is purely there to power the shaker when the relais is switched to "on".

So you need to see these two things completely separate. A switch(powered by 12v) and the switched switching 5v on and off.

Maybe this video can shed some light :

Hope it makes sense :)

what can we do with the second output on our dualbridge board?

the first one for the shaker and the second one for... some self adhesive 12vdc led strips :D LOL

I will install them (invisible) on the bottom side of the cabinet... for underside illumination :smokin:

I think the idea comes from lettuces thread here, he was talking about leds for the cabinet underside.

let's see how it works...
