They really seem to be missing on the new FTP. And since I don't have the old login information from the old FTP anymore, can somebody please grab them from the old FTP server and slap them into his upload folder on the new one making a new directory for example Set3?

I too thought old ftp has gone. Everything was moved over, so it may not have been possible to upload to it.

Styphelus, can you upload them onto the new FTP in a seperate folder? They don't seem to be on the new FTP and I can't access the old one.

This goes out to anyone who already found/downloaded it somehow. I would like to be able to obtain them as well...

The Styphelus folder in the "Upload here" directory is untouched and only the older Set1 and Set2 folders are there but I cannot find his new files.

If anyone obtained them could they be uploaded please?

Oh sweet there's some movement going on in Sty's folder. Somebody just now created a Set3 folder and is currently uploading it I believe.

Thank you very much for uploading the files to the new FTP server. Let the testing begin.

I can't wait already for Sty to release the missing MAME and uncommon Handheld Themes somewhere throughout Christmas Time. When they are finished, this will truly be a new unified default which should then be available throughout HyperSync as well for convenience labelles something like Unified Alternate Default.

Good work on the themes already done Styphelus, they look marvellous!

To the guys that have been working on these themes I'd just like to say thanks. I haven't touched them yet as I'm just patiently waiting and watching it. Many people have said how much they love the simplicity of them and the clean lines. I have to agree. Very much enjoying them so again THANKS.

Well, with all the ones that are completed now and inside the "Set 3" folder, you actually could call them finished, and the the uncommon handhelds Styphelus promised to still do some time very soon as an upcoming super-duper Extra Update of Awesomeness. Me for once thinks that all the themes I would need are already there, with the exception of maybe 1 or 2 handhelds.

I really love these man! Keep up the awesome work. I guess my only complaint is the lack of character art from their proper eras. For example the Mario art on the NES theme is a lot more up to date then any art that could've been used from Super Mario Bros 3. Nonetheless these are still sweet! I've added them to my set up

Yeah, but you can easily change that image anytime by using HyperTheme. Just load it with HyperTheme and replace the image with an 8bit one of Mario .

@ Hunk_4TH - I did not create them. I just put them together into a theme for hyperspin. Like Hunk_4th said, you can easily change that in hypertheme. I can't please everyone. Some people want different character art, some want more animation, some what the wheel on the right side and so on...I'll leave it up to you do customize them anyway you want.

They are easy to change and manipulate.

Mame is up along with Marquees for use with the Mame system theme. I'm assuming most people will be using game themes instead, but for those who prefer a Mame system theme, I have a Marquee pack - It's from Emumovies and it's been re-sized properlly. However it's not 100% complete and the quality is not top notch but it's a start. There around 1800 marquees.

Next up - Coleco Vision, Nintendo Gameboy Color, Nintendo Gameboy Advance.

My Setup looks so sexy now. I'll have to figure out something with boxart though. I use the 2D sets from the FTP, and the way they're positioned sometimes covers the videos.

Anyway, seeing as we're so close to the end, I'd actually like to make a small request. I have Naomi, Model 2, Model 3, Atomiswave, and Daphne on my setup. I'd really like to see some remixes on the MAME Main Menu and System Menu based on some of the other Arcade systems like I have listed there.

In fact, I've used my very limited Photoshop ability to make some crappy marquees for the systems I listed above in my file on the FTP. I would do it myself, but I want to stress my limited ability in Photoshop.

I would think it would be pretty simple, just swap the marquee with a different one and swap out the Street Fighter characters with suitable characters from the other systems. I honestly have no idea. lol

Well I use the 3D Boxart together with 3D cartridge art if avilable through Hypersync and they actually work pretty neat with these unified themes. They dont cover the videos at all, only sometimes the cartridges or boxes are so big that they cover maybe 1/8th of the video screen which doesnt look too bad.

The Marquees are not up to my standards. I intend to remake a lot of them eventually but I have no idea when. At least it's something for now.

The system theme is intended to be used without a static wheel (just like all other themes in the unified theme).

If you would like to see the wheel at all times, just modify the Mame main menu theme and change the artwork layers so that Artwork3 is available. That will give you a static arcade cabinet and just change the movie and marquee instead of one that fades out and in when you pick a game.
