Its coming along at a decent pace. Going to be releasing the first pack next week.

Been wondering about the same! Guess I'll have to create my own from the PSD files. Just wish hyperspin would support widescreen resolutions. Can't be that hard to implement. I wouldn't want to re-do all the themes again.

Dead...probably not. He just didn't get them released when he wanted to. This is a lot of work and nobody really knows what's gonna happen next week. Finding the art and editing it all in Photoshop is a task in itself. Then to turn them into themes, creating a system and default for each, test each theme out in HS, and then tweak every little detail hoping for that positive feedback you've worked so hard for takes time. I say...who cares when he said he'd release them. As long as you have them, right?

Here's a Daphne main menu theme from Gibbawho's psd. I have my own project(s) I'm working on, so no promises or dates, but I should be able to crank these out if people are cool with my average theme making skills. To clarify, I am talking about the main menu themes only. Also, I did not submit this theme for approval pending Gibbawho's final release.

There could literally be more than 100.000 reasons, that Gibbawho has not released this set yet and I don't see how you have any right to claim it as dead.

This isn't new, there are always some persons that like to do this... complain, bitch around, actually help by making useful contributions? Nah that's for idiots, they are always too busy to help better to just wait and have everything served to them (for free).

This is the kind of attitude that makes you not want to share your stuff anymore, he could simply make all those and keep them for himself.

This is the problem with promising release dates though, if you do that and don't release things by that time you'll get posts like this eventually. That's why I never promise dates on anything, things will get done eventually maybe sooner maybe later if someone wants them they'll just have to wait until it's done.

When the majority of a persons posts are asking for help or wanting themes or can't find such and such you start to question why you should help that person. Then you get people such as the OP here that decide to share what they have done. I don't mind helping out newbies and pointing them to the right posts or a good resource or whatever but I do mind when a non newbie uses negativity towards someone that shares.

I don't mind at all that this little project didn't get done on time. I don't see a problem with someone starting something and then having real life get in the way. The same thing has happened to me on the Project and I have this pressing need to help the guys even if I have absolutely no time left in a day. Just helping out with little things makes a huge difference.

If you want these themes right now go pay someone to do it for you. There are commercial graphic designers that would have no problems doing this for a fee. And I'll bet once you pay for all of that you wouldn't share it with the world now would you? Here is a guy who is pouring hours into something that other people get paid for and is giving it out for free. How can anyone ever complain about that?

These themes are very pretty and looked like they were progressing well. It's easy to be like a child in a candy store and forgot yourself. You know when I saw these I was so excited a little be of wee came out.

So after changing my shorts, I quickly forgot about new themes and played with my old toys instead.

To anyone thinking of announcing things in the future, do it when its done.
