There is full scans in HyperVault and I have a bunch of gigabytes on my computer that needs to be organized and uploaded.

I`ve found full covers for some systems in the vault, I remember we have full covers for GameCube, if you know what systems we have more full covers, please let me know.

The ones you have there are full covers for which systems?

JayC, Are those in the vault? I noticed there's a lot of stuff missing in the vault. Should we start populating it? SNES for example only has 3D covers. Not even wheels are there. 

 

I think we should strive to have at least one complete set of wheels, 2D front covers (cleaned up), and carts. Back covers and 3D boxes would be be nice too but the 3D stuff can be done after we have a proper clean set of 2D covers. Once each system is finalized, we can then cleanup the downloads section of this site with only official artwork. 

 

I know there's a lot to do but at least strive to have the most popular systems complete.

No they are not...I got them from Jolasveinn a while back, but haven't had the time to sort them and upload them to the vault. It's almost 80GB of stuff so it takes a while and I've been busy with the other projects.

 

Sure we can start uploading stuff to the vault, I only added the ongoing projects that I could find. 

 

Also if anyone feels like sorting a big mess...the MAME source art folder in the vault is full of stuff and probably many doubles that could be cleaned up and releasing some more space in the vault...there is no problem with the space right now but it's useless to have stuff in there that nobody can even find.

Cool. I'll start organizing things and filling in any gaps I find. I'm currently cleaning up DOS boxes so no Mame for me rigth now. 

 

If we can get the vault organized, we will be able to complete a lot more a lot faster.

Does anyone have a better audit program than HyperTools.  Would be great to have an output file that replicates what is shown in the right section of the following picture:

From the beginning HyperVault was to be an repository for source art and the ongoing art projects, but nowadays it seems it's a good place to keep the art sets as well and update them from there. 

 

I use Hypert00ls as well..works great so far, might be better alternatives though...but this is exactly the thing the spreadsheets that we have and the ones that alphaomega and Jsinn are working on will look like, and the point is that anyone that adds something fills in the spreadsheet as well.

I'm a little stressed with theme choice, conversion and Android compatibility.

I wa thinking of building one of these spreadsheets to detail all official themes.

Something like this format for main menus

System name. 4x3. 16x9. Android cmptbl

Are all the official themes in the Hyperspin downloads section (not upload here)

Does anyone have a base sheet with all the HyperList systems in it I could start with (no biggie if not)

I can almost guarantee that the downloads section will have more MAME themes than what 

HyperSync or even HyperList has. I uploaded 90% of the 1400+ themes myself and there are new

themes being made all the time. There's a lot of alternate themes for games, so just pick

the better ones.  

 

 

Today I'll continue working on completing a set of main menu wheels and sorting the download

section while I feel like doing it.

Yeah im currently making .txt lists from all the xml's of the systems on the hyperlist page to try make it a bit easier for making the spreadsheets for the systems it's alot of work but will be totally worth it in the end mate.

Do you mean you're creating txt files containing just the game names from the xmls manually? If so I could generate those for you easily and save you a bunch of work.

Yh thats what im doing except im not doing it manually im using rom renamer to scan an empty folder against the xml i want as txt and save the list as txt not sure if theres a better way to do this maybe?
