rob3d
I've got a load of the original controllers, with USB adapters and OTG cables I keep hoping 8bitdo will make a 6 button sega controller. Their snes and nes controllers are so well made, they match my og controllers exactly.

namdor
That's okay Namdor, just like lightguns, Hyperspin isn't for everyone. :-) In my case, now that I've got my cabinet setup and working as 'always on, sleeps when left alone, instant-on, I'm not going back to my PC setup. If it's not obvious, I also enjoy the hobby aspect of the dynamic, fast-improving nature of Android emulation. Post a picture of your cabinet, I'd like to see it! I was really hoping to get it going but no matter where I put the hyperspin folder it didn't launch. Oh well. My cabinet is in storage currently (sold our house and renting currently) but once I get a new place I'll send a pic (with the light guns mounted hopefully). I'm not a big lightgun user but I'm sure others will get a kick out of it.
rob3d
Do they pair up OK??? Didn't think you could bluetooth connect anymore, so I modified an icade so it's wired Nice setup! Yea they pair well with the shield tv and stay paired. Used to lose connection after the shield fell asleep, but after an update they work perfectly only time I need to pair is after a battery charge. thatman84
Hi Guys, Just got my shield TV and am making a start on setup following this guide. I followed slimply austins videos for PC setup but my PC was just to noisy in the lounge. Had been looking for an android box for the TV so went with the shield. Any tips to smooth my install would be awsome.
Matt17000
Hello guys, The only thing i can do is launch hyperspin, watch all the wheels, and nothing loads... It seems it's very difficult to make it work :/

Airelmo66
Im a newbie here. I just set up everything up like you said. Finally got Hyperspin to work. Every comes out. I only created a Mame folder for now. I just put games into the Mame folder. So when I select Mame on the Hyperspin wheel. Nothing happens. I can't go into the game selection wheel. Dont know what is going on.? Is there is something I can do to resolve. I would appreciate the help if you can help a fellow newbie. Hyperspin is very tricky to get. But i know once i get it . It will be all worth it.

thatman84
Hyperspin/retroarch config files Nvidia shield marshmallow I have read through all pages and tried multiple settings but still can't figure out if per core settings work when hyperspin launches retroarch (stable build) As far as I can tell retroarch launches seperate config files when launched from a frontend to those launched from the retroarch app itself. Anyone have some clear info on this I would be Greatful as the hyperspin config files are saved to \data\data folder so I guess I would have to root the shield TV to get at these. (I have about 6 nestopia core config's in there now!! 1. Does hyperspin launch per-core config (I can't get it to) 2. Is it per core option or load override 3. Anyway to get at the root files or change where the config's are loaded from
