Hi, Is there some way to make Hyperspin use parent only/wheels only When I am setting it in HyperHQ it just seems to ignore it and show all clones of every game. Thanks in advance

Hi All - I have most systems up and running. One of the systems I am having an issue with is Sony Playstation. I am using RetroArch mednafen_psx core and it works outside of Hyperspin - which means the bios and everything RetroArch needs is working properly. But when I load a game from Hyperspin it opens RetroArch, loads the correct PSX core, but then just sits on a black screen. I can't figure out for the life of me what the issue could be. I have attached my ini file in case someone can spot the issue. I am using bin/cue files. Thank you in advance! Sony Playstation.ini

I haven't been on these forums in some time, so it was quite the treat when I turned on my shield TV and saw Hyperspin! Thank you for all the hard work. When I first set it up with the HS 1.3 download & some roms to test it everything worked fine. The next night I took the HDD out of my arcade and copied my database files, media & roms. It all was working how I wanted on my PC. I opened HS on Shield, and it worked untill I scrolled to gameboy, at which point it just exited to the launcher. The theme didn't load at all & no error messages. It did the same when I scrolled up to Colecovision. I tried to scroll fast past it but no go. All the Nintendo con…

I've tried a test run on my Shield with Nintendo DS and neither emulator on RetroArch work. One of the emulators forces a shut down of RetroArch (DSMelon, I believe) and the other just wont open. I've tried opening a rom outside of Hyperspin with just RetroArch with the same results. Has anyone experienced this? Is there a work around? Thank you.

Well I thought I would do a video of my neglected setup. Spent some time adjusting Main Menu themes timing and animations today. I have plenty to add but I keep getting side tracked. I finally decided to go with a Main Menu order of Arcade->Console->Handheld organised by Year of release. (Well Arcade is Alphabetical) I did start converting 4:3 themes to 16:9 if needed but got fed up with it as the stretching really doesnt affect my experience enough, speically when there are Rom's to collect So as it was JANUARY when I last updated I thought it best to do another video. Hi everybody, on retroarch you could now emulate the NEC PC-98. However, it is impossible to find media for this computer in order to prepare a wheel. So I tried to create a theme for hyperspin. So I started by creating a theme for the main menu. Here is the result in video.

Hello everyone and greetings from the Planet of Brooklyn! I'm very new to this beautiful thing called Hyperspin so please bare with me. I'm running Hyperspin through my Nvidia Shield. Two quick questions... 1. Does the Hyperspin folder have to be placed in the root (0) of ES File Explorer or can it be run from a USB stick? 2. The beautiful intro and all the bells and whistles of Hyperspin load up when I turn it on but the video previews for individual games on their respective consoles are blank. It says to visit Emumovies.com Any and all help is greatly appreciated. Thank you

Noticed that mess 2015 is available to download from retroarch, any difference from mame 2015? Isn't it the same thing at least as far as running older consoles like arcadia, f channel etc is concerned?

Anybody managed to run games of one collection from different emulators in a single wheel? For example, a games collection - any way you can run a game of the collection from one emu and then another game of the same collection from another emu? I know it can be done through rocket launcher in the pc version of hyperspin. What about in android?

Here is how I did it (Im not claiming its the optimal way, but ut works Situation: You have a big MAME wheel in Hyperspin Android with 1000s of games (with all your media & video set up in the right folders), and since neither Favourites nor Genres work you need a way to either: A) break the big MAME wheel into multiple smaller MAME wheels, e.g. by genre or, B.) You have a subset, such as I did, e.g. with your "top 500" MAME games or whatever, that you want to put in a separate wheel Complication: You wanna do this without manually moving about roms and media files to match the new multiple MAME-wheel situation …

Hi! I might be going crazy, have spent countless hours trying to get keyboard controls working in my Hyperspin setup on Nvidia Shield Problem is: No matter what I change in the p1 controls section of settings.ini (in my settings_android HS folder), I'm limited to ONLY Escape and arrow keys functioning. Not enter key, not Favourites, not genre buttons. Also, with gamepad controllers (Shield controller and a Xbox 360 wired controller), all works well without any settings changes, EXCEPT Favourites and Genre buttons. I'm ok if I can get those working, then I don't need keyboard to work. What I'm (desperately) trying to achieve is to be able to toggle Fa…

Hey guys, have the fu*** problem that i can´t select any shaders in retroarch. i go through the menu, but it always says "no items" but downloaded them before. I have all the folders with the shadernames, but can´t load one. deleted the retroarch.cfg but nothing happens =( somebody else have this issue? thanks

Was trying to use the xml as a way of displaying my favourite games but is not working right. I added afew games to the bottom of my xml. Set the 1st one (micro machines) as index =true and image = "fav" The fav.png doesn't display and the letter search adds the letter M to the onscreen letter list before the numbers. It also adds the letters G, T, S for the other games in the list. Golden Axe Turrican Streets of Rage Any help understanding a way to get favourites list without creating a duplicate set of wheels would be helpful @reznnate
