I will try to keep this guide up to date with the latest versions of HyperSpin and RocketLauncher. Also I'm adverse to making videos, because I don't want to make a new video every time something is updated, I find it easier just to edit a pic and text guide then recording a new video and editing links. Starting a new thread to hopefully list all of the clones, bootlegs, hacks & prototypes that may be worth un-cloning (starting with MAME 175) Much of this was done previously by scottjen26. I went through and updated it, re-formatted it, added a bunch of games, removed others that no longer apply, added the Manufacturers so it's easier to make changes for people with Manufacturer wheels, made a database and added additional 2 Player game info. I'm waiting until I can dedicate a few straight hours to getting it done right and not having a system in a state of flux where nothing is working. I might just eventually have to break down though and start the upgrade to RL in pieces. That being said with the ability to choose the emulator at a game level, I think this really opens up the opportunity for some amazing custom categories. UPDATE .... I have just installed Windows 11 HOME EDITION onto a new SSD (version 24H2) and all was ok, UNTIL a security update November 21, 2024—KB5046740 (OS Build 26100.2454) Preview stopped Hyperspin from working. It's now safe to say that if you want Hyperspin to continue working .... DO NOT update to Windows 11 (version 242H)

Hello, I'm brand new to hyperspin 1, I finally got 1 system going (Sega Genesis), everything works, games show up, they launch, controls work. It took me a long time to get everything working. Now I'm just missing the media. Seems like I need to go Platinum and use something called HyperSync but I've seen some posts that say it's no longer working. I was hoping someone could verify if it still works. Also looking for any advise on how to get artwork if HyperSync is no longer an option.

I got an arcade cabinet awhile back that has an XP PC in it running hyperspin. I am wanting to migrate the games to a fresh install on an older alienware desktop running win10. I am new to arcade, although I do have some experience with retropie. I'm pretty sure I found the roms in hyperspin (C:\hyperspin\Emulators). I also found some roms in C:\Maximus Arcade\Emulators. Is there anywhere else I should look for roms? Also, it currently uses a Ultimarc ipac four for the joysticks and buttons. Is the mapping for that programmed in the board or is it setup in the software somewhere? If it's in the software, where is the mapping located so I can move it as well without having…

Ciao, tryed to put sxs.dll on the folder but when I click on hyperspin.exe nothing happened. If I check in task manager I can see hyperspin proccess start and then close. Any idea? Thank you

I built a driving mame cab that has no joysticks, I had a old version of hyperspin that worked with encoders i hacked together from a ball style mouse for the steering a old keyboard i soldered wires to the feather board for the buttons and a microsoft sidewinder i used for the gas pedal. Everything worked well but the computer was slow and the project was over 10 years old so i thought i would start from scratch. I upgraded the pc and bought a u-hid from ultimarc. Everything works well but unfortunately the steering wheel that uses the mouse x axis like the old cabinet does not work. The hyperspin wheel just spins forever. Can someone help? For some reason I cannot find the search function for the forum. I'm trying to find alternate intro videos for hyperspin. In case I'm not using the correct terminology, I want the video that plays when Hyperspin starts/launches. Hi all, Has anyone managed to get this working in Hyperspin ? I tried this bat file but can't get it to work using PCLAUNCHER module ... shadPS4.exe "D:\Hyperspin\emulators\shadPS4\ps4 games\CUSA00319\\eboot.bin If I remove "D:\Hyperspin\emulators\shadPS4\ps4 games\CUSA00319\\eboot.bin, the emulator opens fine using the bat file, so it must be an error somewhere in the line ? Any help appreciated

I just made more missing 3D boxes https://emumovies.com/files/file/2234-nintendo-ds-3d-boxes-pack-alt-2/ based on the XML I have all USA boxes are accounted for, but the XML I have is missing allot of titles and it does not have the meta data so the question is. is their a more complete XML available. Hi, I have an 8tb Hyperspin hard drive and have had no luck setting up an xbox wireless controller to it! I am trying to do this with x360ce, controller is mapped but what next? No good with pc's and was told this was a simple plug n play....... NOT! Any help would be greatly appreciated. thx

As someone completely new to this field, I understand that Hyperspin is a frontend program. However, frankly, I don't have the knowledge base to delve deeper into the technical aspects right now. slope Several forum discussions mention readily available full ISO images of Hyperspin for both Android and computers. These supposedly work with a simple installation process. Ideally, I'd love to find something similar, even if it's a few gigabytes in size. This would be a great starting point to get a basic understanding of Hyperspin. Any help pointing me in the right direction would be greatly appreciated!

I am SOOO confused. I haven't been playing with my Arcade cabinet in maybe 2 years and now some things are not working. It started with me downloading latest ver of MAME and then trying to launch Gondomania and then slowly I discovered more games are not working I opened the RL UI and ran the audit. It went mostly green, but when I tried to run Gondomania from RL, I got error something about ahk_class and to check for correct version. I re-downloaded full version of RL which latest is from 2022! and it had the same ahk version that I found in previous RL. And now Audit is ALL red! Hi all, *I saw the warning about purchasing hard drives using HyperSpin, etc. I know what I bought and wanted it for a reason. I'm asking for support because everything works on every computer I have tried it on except one and I'm trying to determine what could be off with my one computer* I recently purchase a 12TB external hard drive pre-configured with Hyperspin Attraction (KinHank) from Amazon. I'm no stranger to setting these up and configuring them myself, but this was easier to get a fully preconfigured drive that kids could use.
