I wouldn't mind a real discussion on the pros and cons of this, but what I really want is for someone smarter than me to tell me what to do. The story is I recently bought this pretty awesome by my standards computer off craigslist, it came stock with Windows 7 Professional 64 bit. It should be mentioned that though I've read up on this I only have a vague idea about what "professional" and even "64bit" really mean except that I get 64 bit versions of emulators where applicable. Anyway, the previous owner was apparently quite the adventurous one, and had somehow screwed up the registry so much that the Windows Installer didn't work. The windows copy however, was genuine…

Hey guys I finally finished this. I really wanted to get this out for Halloween but better late than never. Finished product: Making this stuff is a really big change for me and I honestly quite enjoy doing it as it shows a different side of how I still relive my youth in my head. Any comments whether good or bad please post em!

VJ 2.1 has been released.Major improvements.Full screen support, joypad support better overall game compatibility.Virtual Jaguar seems to be coming along nicely, and since it is the only way to emulate the Jag,we are lucky to have it.Yes I know MESS will one day be able to emulate the Jag better, but im 33 years old and by the time MESS emulates Jaguar I will most likely have passed away due to old age.Enjoy http://www.ngemu.com/forums/forumdisplay.php?f=64

Hello all, So, you have an Amiga? Disc's have gone bad or your floppy is not so floppy any more?? Stumbled across this article and thought it was interesting... http://amigadrive.blogspot.ca/2013/11/how-use-raspberry-pi-as-amiga-floppy.html Allows you to use a Raspberry Pi as a floppy drive emulator. Total cost (including the RPI) around $50.00. Thoughts? Ron

One of the members of the forum had a great website for emu's that work well with Hyperspin. He had a pic that linked to the site in his signature and kept them updated. If anyone knows who I'm talking about please send me link or something, thanks!

So it's sale time here and that includes sales on canvas printing. A company I've used before have a 60% off sale, so here's the question. I want some marquee artwork printed onto canvas and wanted your ideas, favourites, etc. My era would be the 70's/80's so I could go for maybe Defender or Asteroids, but I'm very open to ideas, but I'm also just interested in what you like. Thanks in advance.

Hey guys i didnt want to post a thread on the main board cause im pretty sure this has been discussed but i cant find the original thread. That being said; Im just about to finish my cabinet for work. Understand that this cab WILL BE ON 24/7! Is there a way to streamline all the HS processes so I wont have to be dealing with freezing and crashing after random times of non use? Im not sure what kind of time window im looking in(run time) before videos start freezing etc.. anyone have any similar situations?

As many of you know I have been on a bit of a hiatous to deal with personal issues at home, dealing with the children. However, now that the issues seem to have been sealed finally I have decided to officially toss my hat back into the HyperSpin ring as at this point it is all I pretty much know. This comes with the upcoming release of HyperSync 4 (due by March 01, 2014) and another program that I have been developing for the community. I am finding myself finally with a little free time to slowly get back into the mix of things and experiment with some new ideals that I have regarding HyperSpin as a whole, over the course of the next few months you will start seeing a…

I'm pretty noobie to all this emu stuff. I remember messing around with it like 15ish years ago on a computer. Thought it was kinda cool. Now I want to build a actual cab. Got all the parts software etc. Even buying a graphics card to simulate some Nice HLSL scans. Night and Day IMO. Been playing MK.rom on my Xarcade tank pad and it's pretty legit. Really happy with it. I was wondering if their was a way to add a file somewhere that would add all the settings to all the games via xarcade. Or do I have to manually set that up for every game. When I do set it up in mame with Mortal Kombat and quite out, I have to re-set the controls when I come back. What am i d…

Creators of the Bioshock series is closing it's doors after 17 years in the business. Reason behind this is Kevin Levine is moving on to do other things. what does this mean, well 2K own everything Bioshock now and will probably farm out that franchise (hoping they don't screw it up. How do you feel about this development.

Anyone else really stoked about Diablo III? It's convinced me to attend Blizzcon this year. Well, that and a chance to maybe play Starcraft 2.

I've search everywhere, youtube, forurms and there is no how to steps. Just the hlsl code you put in the meme.ini file which i've done with no results. Is there a program that does this for you. I'm using mameplus64 to create the mame.ini file. That's the only way I can seem to find a mame.ini file. It's in the root folder of the mameplus64. That's where mamepUI puts it. I have to be missing a step but again there is no solid walk throughs that I can find which is amazing to me since this a huge factor in improving the quality of a LCD screen emulation. Please help. Also can you apply these same affects to hyperspin or only the png images? Just to be consistent.…

Hi, I just got a phone call from my business' website host saying that my website has been hacked and that they will gladly reinstate it for the "low cost" of 30 bucks a month. I told them that was a ridiculous price to ask and if they are hosting a service for someone and they can fix/stop it easily then they should be providing that service to their clients anyway. He then told me that he can lower the cost to $20 a month, and after continually arguing with him about his company trying to fleece their customers out of more money and that I will be moving my websites to another host and get it sorted out with another provider he hung up on me. To be honest, I'm not c…

Hey guys. Here's another one for you. I reworked the battle music to Miracle Warriors into another metal tune. Ever since I found The Black Mages they have inspired me to do music like this. Please feel free to comment. Input is important as I cannot know what to go easy with or go more with for the next tune. Check it out: Although I can't contribute to the community through Photoshop skills, I will be eventually putting these up on the ftp as I get more done so feel free to use them for the games HyperPause menu.
