great job on all of your work

just one thing: ive noticed on your ps1 animated background, there is a jagged movement. you can see it in your YouTube video and when I tried it on my setup I've noticed it too. on mine, I even notice some screen tearing when it happens

other than that, everything looks great

I was running the old hyperspin updated a month ago really his great and with this work it looks great thanks for the hard work to save me searching some of my themes dont show boxs is right because of the themes looks great anyway.

None of the system themes in the static set have box art set up. There is a Read Me.txt file in the same folder that explains how to add your own if you want to.

I got around to checking out a few of these (widescreen set) and the timing delays are set a bit too high for everything. Makes HS feels sluggish. Had to go through the theme xml's and change artwork values such as:

time="1" delay ="1.6"

to

time="1" delay ="0.5"

Doesn't sound like much but makes a noticable difference when navigating, especially after shortening the vid timing too. I'm curious, why the long asset delays?

I uploaded my modified 4:3 Megathemes to my folder on the FTP. You can see them in this video I uploaded awhile back:

I guess in the thumbnail the DS background and probably the logo aren't from the Megatheme, but I like those ones better. Most themes use assets from the Megatheme though.

These are some amazing work and great themes. But 4:3 is useless to me. Fantastic share though mate

PS: I love your setup for the RetroArch games, as in the shaders and overlays.... any chance you could share that with me?

He did. He uploaded everything in PSD format and than people here created HS themes from them. Check the Unified Mega Theme folder on the FTP.

Hey Dark, I have a pack of flyers for Mame resized in 700 x 1000 px, I made them for my HTPC, if you want it I can upload them to a folder on the FTP.

How I wish someone would find Gibba and make him upload his wide work's. T_T

As Styphelus says, the Unified Themes, Bezels and Fade Screens has been created from the art provided by Gibbawho, He deserves all the credit.

My own set, mostly sourced from flyers.arcade-museum.com, with a few found through Google image search. I sized them to 525 height or 525 width (depending on if they are wide or tall) to fit best with my theme. I don't use full sets, but I've uploaded the flyers I've done for games I like to my folder on the FTP.

I don't like doing the squishing stuff to all the art to get things to properly show up 16:9. If HyperSpin ever properly supports widescreen I'll probably rework my themes.

I'm not sure how useful it will be since I use the -c Config\confignamehere.cfg parameter to load specific configs through HyperSpin instead of using HyperLaunch, but I uploaded a RetroArch64.7z with that stuff in it. I guess you could use my configs if you know how to modify the HL script to load them per system. I also use append configs for certain systems or games. That basically uses one config as a base, then uses a second config that contains any lines you want different from the base config. An example command line parameter for that would be: -c Config\N64.cfg --appendconfig Config\N64-Mischief.cfg

I included my HyperSpin Settings and Database folders so you can get an idea of how I have it load RetroArch configs. I use the <exe> tag in the databases for per game settings.

I figured out how to modify the shaders I like so they work in the base Shader directory. That allows you to switch between them with the N and M keys at any time, which is really nice. For some systems I even set right analog click to be shader switch in their config.

Is it amyfever's flyers pack or another one? If it is not amyfever's one it would be helpful, they seems more polished. I'm making a flyers "wheel" for mame recreating missing flyers but it will take ages and will be released after aeon nox13 theme (you can finda some examples in Upload Here/dark13/MAME Flyerset/. Maybe they can work as mame wheel for the moment if it's a complete set :D

What settings do you use to get your n64 games looking so good?

It's the Mupen64Plus RetroArch core using glide64 as the graphics plugin and the internal resolution set to 320x240 in the core options. I'm also using a custom CRT-Hylian-Glow shader; settings for that are mentioned in the video description. But I actually like the more complex CRT-Royale shader and use that for many systems now. I use the user-settings-royale-with-cheese-nvidia.h settings file that comes with that shader, with the only change being turning off the border that is on by default. This blog post has some nice in depth info and shots of that shader.
