Taito Type X and Hyperlaunch 3.0

I just wanted to get clarification that Taito Type X is working fine in the New RocketLauncher...

In the PC Launcher.ini...I am pointing the script to the bat files

eg:

[super Street Fighter IV]

Application=C:\Hyperspin\Games\Taito Type X\Super Street Fighter IV\Super Street Fighter IV.bat

AppWaitExe=game.exe

I seem to be getting an issue where the game starts fine but after 20 seconds closes and the Hyperlaunch "now loading page appears"

Any help appreciated

Yes mate, I have those codecs installed.

Still, at least I got RIV working in my bartop build thanks to the awesome Gigapig

If I can, I'll sort out the files and offer an alternative for those of us that cannot get the ftp standard RIV files to work.

Hi Klizine.... i think your out of luck there mate... Ive had huge graphical errors with ATI cards and BCT( lots have been reported)... changed to Nvidia no more problems...

I think you will also have issues with Samourai Shodown Edge of Destiny

Thanks langersld. I was affraid of that. Sad that the only thing the 'ol girl can't handle is one game. (shodown was the 1st game I got working....somehow) BBCT even runs on my dinky laptop...

I'm in the process of building a bartop, having cloned the hdd most of my emus/roms work fine, apart from this evil soab. I need to setup the vertical shooters from scratch as this cab won't feature a rotating monitor, some of the horizontal roms don't work due to using a different resolution in this build. Let's see if the gigaguides help me

The little remote is to control the led strip at the bottom of the cab and the control panel down lighting, it changes the colour/flash/fade speed etc. Never did get around to doing a full video although I did post 2 short clips.

I figured out a brilliant method to get Taito working perfectly. Once I build my cab PC I'm dragging the thing up to langersld's place with a case of beer.

When I click GigaWing Generations.exe it runs perfectly, but when I run it via RL it flashes a couple of windows, takes me back to RL and leaves C:\Hyperspin\Emulators\PC Games\roms folder open

I had it set to use an alternative emu, left over from my G4D cab setup.

Something else I've only just realised, the intro movie for RadienIV plays flawlessly when run in horizontal orientation, but when run in vertical orientation its jumpy as hell

Don't understand how it can affect the video but it does.

Where did you get your Taito Type X main menu theme? Also the Silent Hill Theme and Video? Could you share them?

The Taito X theme the same one available here(on ftp) but I removed the girl that I was not familiar with and replaced it with the artwork found inside the kofxiii theme(also available here). Silenthill Theme was a quick and dirty placeholder I made. I cant share it because it would not pass approval here and I believe its against the rules to post unapproved themes. Video was from youtube, i just downloaded it and chopped it.

Finally on a PC and watched the video for Silent Hill The Arcade. That looks kinda cool. That would actually be a damn nice addition to the collection.
