Taito Type X and Hyperlaunch 3.0

I just wanted to get clarification that Taito Type X is working fine in the New RocketLauncher...

In the PC Launcher.ini...I am pointing the script to the bat files

eg:

[super Street Fighter IV]

Application=C:\Hyperspin\Games\Taito Type X\Super Street Fighter IV\Super Street Fighter IV.bat

AppWaitExe=game.exe

I seem to be getting an issue where the game starts fine but after 20 seconds closes and the Hyperlaunch "now loading page appears"

Any help appreciated

Ok, So I was able to get Silent Hill playing with cross hair at full screen with full movies/intros minus LAV or ffdshow. I had to use the "2nd" audio files suggested by gigapig. From there I used gig's ttx.ini from his ftp (just as a control; I had messed with mines waaay too much), the only thing I had to mess with was I changed the [Window Size] to =1 then the resolution I changed to my native display 1920 x 1080. Dang, that was fun! Thanks for all that helped!

I figured out my issue with playing the full cut scenes. I went back and re-read the last couple pages and saw gigapig installed k-lite codes so I went and go the latest version (10.3), which uninstalled the LAV and ffdshow codecs I already had since it has newer ones. I went through and enabled the ffdshow like connorsdad did (I did this before but not all of them were supported - they all are now with the newer version) and now I get the full cut scenes to watch!

I still cannot figure out this screen resize deal and why forcing the screen to a higher resolution forces the cut scenes to be zoomed but no big deal. the game is supposed to run in 640X480 (from what I have read) so I will simply play it like that if I want crosshairs and I can always switch it if I don't want crosshairs.

Do you have DisplayWidth and DisplayHeight under DisplayMode? If so what's that set to?

1280x1024, native for my 19" LCD. If I force it, cut scenes fill the screen and if I enable displaymode, they are zoomed to the top right corner.

Where can I find the full length cut scenes? I guess the other video files?

You won't bloody believe it, I didn't and I walked straight past it the first time.

The screen needed adjusting as the colours were off, but there it is.

I think I found it. If I run ForceDisplaySize=0 and DisplayMode=1, I run at the resolution I have set but cut scenes go like I described. If I run ForceDisplaySize=1 and DisplayMode=0, then I get the full window cut scenes but my resolution goes to something like 640X480. You can't set both to 1, it crashes and if you set them both to 0, that sets it to the worse resolution. I tried different loaders but no dice there.

Can I have both? Is there a setting I can change to allow me to force the resolution AND get the full size cut scenes? I guess if not, it is not too big a deal as I would only want to run the Arcade Loader RH file to get the crosshair. I'd rather have a better resolution though so if that is the case, I will just continue use the KHSG file.

Do you have DisplayWidth and DisplayHeight under DisplayMode? If so what's that set to?

I did try them all. 2 of them work but they have the same outcome of a zoomed in cut scene. Is this happening to anyone else? Or am I the only lucky one?

I use Loader 5, but NOT all of the other ones crash (when LAVs filters are installed). (I'd have to test them again, if you really wanted to know)

Just figuring out the trigger.

Can't find the trigger function for player 2, therefore can't bind it to anything :(

Ok good news/ bad news. Good News: I found player 2's trigger! It's the blank area right below player 2 start. I verified this by going into test mode where you calibrate the guns. Bad news: The trigger worked, but it said OUTSIDE OF RANGE. I don't have a gun, let alone guns, so I can't test if this would work with a gun.

Awesome, why didn't I think of testing that way lol

I have 2 guns, I'll have a play later :)

Using the same file you use to assign player 1 keys (config.bat or something like that) click keyboard on the left, select the key you want to use, now on the panel on the right where it says Player 1 start, trigger etc, if you nudge down 3 times from that last entry (Nudge down 3 blank lines) this is the player 2 start bind. I tried binding keys,triggers to the other blank lines to find out which was player 2 trigger but couldn't find anything :(

Wow, I wonder if these new files will fix my RH loader. That still crashes the game for me. I love testing new files out. Just remember, either backup files before overwriting them or have a clean/untouched version saved someplace else! Made that mistake once, never again! :)

Finally got it working :)

Had to install this codec ffdshow

Then run DSFMgr.exe from inside the silent hill folder, click on ffdshow MPEG-4 Video Decoder, show filter properties, filter settings, and change all the supported codecs on the right hand side from disabled to libavcodec.

It does if I run it from KSHG.exe. loader is fine, so is KSHG no cursor.

You may have trouble if you try and run it windowed, although I haven't tested that, it did crash a lot using different loader modes.

quick question...i dont have a gun yet so i am using my mouse for silent hill...

i calibrate the damn thing like 10 times and still it shoots right of the cross hair by a lot...

is this happening to everyone or just me?
