Hi I hope this is the right place, i'm sorry if it's not. I'm still on HS v1.0 and my ps1 (eSPXe180) and sega (Fusion) gives an error cannot find sony playstation.ahk and sega genesis.ahk ive searched everywhere and cannot find it can someone point me in the right direction? I know i can make one but I dont know how Also a side question I just got HS v1.4 Im scared to upgrade I dont want to delete all my working emus, im guessing just copy everything over and replacing and it'll keep my settings but i want to know if this is true? Should I upgrade to 1.3 first? and how would i upgraded to 1.3? should I do a fresh install of 1.3 add my emus then overwrite 1.4 to …

Hey all, Sorry to trouble yeah. Having a issue with HS not connect with game as I get the xml database error. Rocketlauncher loads the games every game no issues. When launching from HS not loading the xml file from the database. I fixed the database issue with Genesis but this one isn't working for some reason. Using MAMEUIFX 0.169 x32 Any help will be greatly appreciated. I fixed most issues I've had on my own looking at forums info and google etc. But this nut has been a issue for me. Thank you advance.

I have started my firsy Hyperspin/Rocketlauncher build and everything has gone smoothly so far. I followed the tutorial I found at this site. It all went very well and I have my 157 mame romset working as required. I now want to move on to tidying up the visuals and adding artwork etc. I'm really just trying to find out what terms I need to be using. For example by installing the base media pack in the tutorial I now have the first wheel (the list of emulators) setup with nice graphics - is this called "wheel art"? What is it called? I have tried running it in RetroArch and Yabuse emulators and both run way too fast. Is there a setting i need to change or does this system just not work ? Thanks in advance

Hi, I've set up my mame cab and installed the latest Hyperspin. I can't seem to find a way to have the mame wheel (or anywheel) start with my favorites list. It always defaults to "All Games". Is there a way to have it start with the favorites list? Thank you!

Hi guys I hate asking for help and wont normally do it until I am banging my head on the keyboard, I am ALMOST at that point lol I have followed a video tut to get up and running (by Simply Austin), I am starting with MAME only using Hyperspin and Rocket Launcher (for now, other Emu's are available) I have got all the paths in the right places, Rocket Launcher finds all my ROMS I have had to disable 7Zip support for Mame or I get an extension error I told Rocket Launcher that the default Front end is Hyperspin, set up the correct paths etc I can launch the games in Mame (of course) and from Rocket Launcher (ALT L) On the video in Rocket Launcher his said …

Hi guys, I have a strange little issue... I have HS setup and working perfectly for all my systems running via RetroArch, except one that seems to have acquired a little problem all on its own. For some reason when RocketLauncher opens the Mame Core, it does so behind HyperSpin.... or RocketLauncherUI. All other RetroArch cores open fine, infront of HS/RLUI. It's probably a little setting somehwhere, it may have actually happened when I updated RL, I'm not quite sure as I haven't used this build for a while. I've searched and searched but couldn't find an answer so here I am.... Any help form the pro's would be greatly appreciated. Thanks Andy

Hi, Everytime I download anything on Hyperspin the download is fine and normal speed until the end, just past 90%, then it drops to 20-30kb or less and strugles to the end This is whether its e.g. 500mb (gets to 497mb then grinds to a halt 10-30kb per second) or 5mb (4.6mb then slows 1-20kb per second) and is very frustrating because it can take ages to complete even the smallest download. Any thoughts ? Thanks

I jacked up something or should say I might not have set it up right in the first place. Can someone help? I got a clean computer with Hyperspin and Upgraded to Hyperlaunch. For the life of me I can't get things to work. I got the videos, images, all that fun stuff. But when it comes to launching a ROM it tells me "No Default_Emulator found in "H:\Hyperspin\Settings\10-yard Fight (USA).zip,nes\Emulators.ini" Pleas set one so Rocketlauncher knows what module to us." Hi there! I've changed the "Nintendo GameCube.ini" in C:\HyperSpin\Settings to map to an alternative video path. Weird thing is that when I'm opening the GameCube wheel in HS it still directs to the native video folder I've tested this by copying one of my video's to that folder and it's the only one showing up. [video defaults] path=E:\HyperSpin\Media\Nintendo GameCube\Video Is there an alternative setting that can overrule this? I did the same thing for MAME without issues. Also, and I don't know if this is related, HQ crashes when I tried changing the setting by wheel settings.

OK so I'm trying to setup hlsl in my build but can't seem to get it to work! It seems so easy but I just can't seem to figure it out. I've found online settings for the Ini file and have modified it. I've made sure hlsl is enabled in mame it self. Not matter what when I launch it from rocket launcher I don't get the hlsl effects. I've seen online people saying to go into rocketlauncher settins and set it in the modules for mame from default to true. if I do that when I launch a game mame crashes before the game launches. I just can't seem to see anything else to do. anyone have any insight into this that may help i'd greatly appreciate it!

Remapping the controls using AHK through RL's keymapper doesn't work with this game for some reason. So I'm launching an AHK as a PostLaunch app which does work. Problem is I don't know how to stop it again once I exit the game. I'm guessing just a postexit script, but have no idea how to make that end the Killer Instinct.AHK that's running. Any help greatly appreciated.

One of the cooler and lesser known features of the Bliss-Box 4-play is the developer API, which enables our system to identify the exact type of controller we have connected. So now for the past week, i've been working on hyperspin and at some point i got it working. The roms work properly but the controls dont work. I have an I-pac 2 (the old one with the ps/2 ports) and then i have some arcade buttons and a joystick attached to that. And the joystick is configured to act as the arrow keys on the keyboard, but they didn't work in retroarch menu, so i went to the settings and put the input as retrokeyboard with no analogs and then i went to user 1 bindings and first put the d-pad up as arrow key-up and then d-pad down as arrow key-down but then the keys didn't work anymore. So. I've dealt with all HyperSpin wheels jumping one game when I launched a game in any system [MAME, NES, Genesis, etc...] for a very long time...years. I attempted to change the HyperSpin --> Settings --> MAME.ini --> game_jump setting to "0" to no avail. The game jump in HyperSpin was persistent. I attempted to change the game jump setting in HyperHQ to zero but the lowest value is one. Then I got to thinking that I rarely use my control panel's trackball to navigate within HyperSpin so I disabled it. That seems to have eliminated the game jump problem. So I'm finally working on my PC/Steam/MSDOS wheel. The thing is, because it's PC based, I have to use a different profile in Xpadder that incorporates the mouse onto my controller. I've got that functioning on it's own for about 90% of the games I have (Some just have WAY too many inputs for a controller to handle it) I'm trying to figure out how to make the program load this profile when I choose a PC game, and then switch back to my basic profile when playing everything else. I have randomizer set to rotate the intro videos. If I run randomizer manually it rotates the videos just fine, However hyperspin doesn't seem to be calling it properly. The log file indicates it is being called properly though, which is wierd. Anyone else have issues with randomizer and HS 1.4?
