Hi all, Looking for a bit of help, Got the new PS4 app up and running to stream games from PS4, Its all running in hyper/rocketlauncher. But my issues is, When the app launches i have to press start on the app manually for it to start, if there something i could do/use for this to be done auto while the app is hid in the background till the app is loaded and i see the PS4 stream? Thanks

Hey all I am making a hyperspin coffee table and dont want to have to be exiting hyperspin to manage full 8mb PS2 memory cards through the PCSX2 interface. I have around 70 PS2 games. Just testing them filled an 8mb memory card in no time. Some games wont even play without the necessary memory space. I musnt be the only one that has had this issue. Is there anyway to make an infinite memory card? The solutions I've read have people making files to transfer saved games from folders or swapping memory cards. Both these solutions require me hooking up a keyboard which basically sounds like ongoing maintenance to keep space free for game saves.

I just signed in last night for the first time since 2010 and I see that there's a newer version or I should say a few newer versions since then. I'm not sure what version I have at this point, but it seems to still be doing just fine. Are there any advantages/disadvantages to upgrading?

So I go to pick a genre within a wheel, and get this. See attached. Where is that giant white "ALL GAMES" graphic PNG file located within Hyperspin? I'd like to change it, since I'm going to default to "Best Games," not "All Games." Don't wanna confuse people. I checked media/frontend and media/main menu, but it's not there. Thanks!

I have just recently setup HyperSpin/RocketLauncher on my PC following a few of Simply Austin's YouTube videos. I have been able to wrap my head around quite a bit of the file structure and setting in HyperHQ/RocketLauncher however, I've hit a few road blocks and I want to start out by clarifying one detail. In RockeLauncher under the General Settings tab, on the RocketLauncher tab, under Paths, what should the Default Frontend Path be? Also in the same section, under base settings what should the Default Plugin be? I ask because in one of Austin's videos it directed to set them to RocketLauncher and in another it directed to set them to HyperSpin. I haven't noticed a…

I'm a Noob as well on games and roms. I'm about to make a journey on making my first cab and started playing around with Hyperspin and Rocketlauncher. My only question is where are you getting all the games and roms from? I see the list of games in Rocketlauncher and I've updated from this website but the games are just not there. Hi I hope this is the right place, i'm sorry if it's not. I'm still on HS v1.0 and my ps1 (eSPXe180) and sega (Fusion) gives an error cannot find sony playstation.ahk and sega genesis.ahk ive searched everywhere and cannot find it can someone point me in the right direction? Hey all, Sorry to trouble yeah. Having a issue with HS not connect with game as I get the xml database error. Rocketlauncher loads the games every game no issues. When launching from HS not loading the xml file from the database. I fixed the database issue with Genesis but this one isn't working for some reason. Using MAMEUIFX 0.169 x32 Any help will be greatly appreciated. I fixed most issues I've had on my own looking at forums info and google etc. But this nut has been a issue for me. Thank you advance.

I have started my firsy Hyperspin/Rocketlauncher build and everything has gone smoothly so far. I followed the tutorial I found at this site. It all went very well and I have my 157 mame romset working as required. I now want to move on to tidying up the visuals and adding artwork etc. I'm really just trying to find out what terms I need to be using. For example by installing the base media pack in the tutorial I now have the first wheel (the list of emulators) setup with nice graphics - is this called "wheel art"? What is it called? Hi, I've set up my mame cab and installed the latest Hyperspin. I can't seem to find a way to have the mame wheel (or anywheel) start with my favorites list. It always defaults to "All Games". Is there a way to have it start with the favorites list? Thank you!

Hi guys I hate asking for help and wont normally do it until I am banging my head on the keyboard, I am ALMOST at that point lol I have followed a video tut to get up and running (by Simply Austin), I am starting with MAME only using Hyperspin and Rocket Launcher (for now, other Emu's are available) I have got all the paths in the right places, Rocket Launcher finds all my ROMS I have had to disable 7Zip support for Mame or I get an extension error I told Rocket Launcher that the default Front end is Hyperspin, set up the correct paths etc I can launch the games in Mame (of course) and from Rocket Launcher (ALT L) On the video in Rocket Launcher his said …

Hi guys, I have a strange little issue... I have HS setup and working perfectly for all my systems running via RetroArch, except one that seems to have acquired a little problem all on its own. For some reason when RocketLauncher opens the Mame Core, it does so behind HyperSpin.... or RocketLauncherUI. All other RetroArch cores open fine, infront of HS/RLUI. It's probably a little setting somehwhere, it may have actually happened when I updated RL, I'm not quite sure as I haven't used this build for a while. I've searched and searched but couldn't find an answer so here I am.... Any help form the pro's would be greatly appreciated. Thanks Andy

Hi, Everytime I download anything on Hyperspin the download is fine and normal speed until the end, just past 90%, then it drops to 20-30kb or less and strugles to the end This is whether its e.g. 500mb (gets to 497mb then grinds to a halt 10-30kb per second) or 5mb (4.6mb then slows 1-20kb per second) and is very frustrating because it can take ages to complete even the smallest download. Any thoughts ? Thanks

I jacked up something or should say I might not have set it up right in the first place. Can someone help? I got a clean computer with Hyperspin and Upgraded to Hyperlaunch. For the life of me I can't get things to work. I got the videos, images, all that fun stuff. But when it comes to launching a ROM it tells me "No Default_Emulator found in "H:\Hyperspin\Settings\10-yard Fight (USA).zip,nes\Emulators.ini" Pleas set one so Rocketlauncher knows what module to us." Hi there! I've changed the "Nintendo GameCube.ini" in C:\HyperSpin\Settings to map to an alternative video path. Weird thing is that when I'm opening the GameCube wheel in HS it still directs to the native video folder I've tested this by copying one of my video's to that folder and it's the only one showing up. [video defaults] path=E:\HyperSpin\Media\Nintendo GameCube\Video Is there an alternative setting that can overrule this? I did the same thing for MAME without issues. Also, and I don't know if this is related, HQ crashes when I tried changing the setting by wheel settings.

OK so I'm trying to setup hlsl in my build but can't seem to get it to work! It seems so easy but I just can't seem to figure it out. I've found online settings for the Ini file and have modified it. I've made sure hlsl is enabled in mame it self. Not matter what when I launch it from rocket launcher I don't get the hlsl effects. I've seen online people saying to go into rocketlauncher settins and set it in the modules for mame from default to true. if I do that when I launch a game mame crashes before the game launches. I just can't seem to see anything else to do. anyone have any insight into this that may help i'd greatly appreciate it!
