Hello all, I am attempting to serve my backed up gaming collection which spans the following systems: NES // rom SNES // rom Genesis // rom Sega Saturn // iso Nintendo64 // rom Playstation // iso Dreamcast // iso Gamecube // iso Would this collection of file formats be able to stream to Hyperspin via my NAS? If so, does Hyperspin stream files in archives (.rar, pakkiso, .7z) or would my collection of back ups have to be completely unarchived? Is this more a limitation of the emulators I choose to run? If it is limited by the emulators which emulators would allow me to emulate from archived files if any? Thanks!

I had this all working at one point then while fiddling with wheels, artwork & joypads I've screwed something up & can't find an answer. All of the games work fine when loaded from HyperLaunch or HyperLaunchHQ but in Hyper spin I can go to all games with the GUI working fine but when I load a game I get this error then it disappears & Hyperspin carry's on. Here's the errors for just 2 but this is the same for all emulators now. Cannot Find C:\HYPERS~1\Hyperspin\Emulators\Project64\Project641.6\Project64.exe Cannot Find C:\HYPERS~1\Hyperspin\Emulators\MAME\mame64.exe I've looked at a few threads on here but none seem to have the same error message as me. …

I have the default theme installed. So I went and got Circo's movies. Is it just me or does everyone have the white bar at the top between the video and the top of the purple gameboy as if the video isn't positioned high enough on it's Y coordinate? Is it suppose to be like that?

I purchased an ARCADEVGA video card from ultimarc. Once I installed the drivers I started Hyperspin 1.3.2, once the wheel appears and lays out the screen the second the video preview appears, the screen goes GREEN. Please help, I am dying to get this to work. Where should I start looking for the culprit? Could it be windows 7? Could someone please help me? Tucker from Montana

I want to use WinVice SDL (with virtual keyboard option) for my cab setup. Using the WinVice.ahk module provided, and both SDL and regular emulators are 2.4, I have run into a snag. With the regular WinVice emulator, the games load up no problem via HLHQ. With the SDL emulator, I get this error "There was an error waiting for the window "ahk_class VICE". Please check you have the correct version emulator installed for this module, followed any notes in the module, and have this emulator working outside your Frontend first. Hey guys. Sorry, there's probably a thousand threads about system requirements, and here is one more. I have an almost 5 year old PC which I was thinking of installing HyperSpin on. But, is it good enough for my requirements? I'm first and foremost a console gamer, so I was hoping that all consoles upto Dreamcast would have to work (PS2 and Gamecube would be nice too, but not a must!). As for arcade, well... with these specs, what will my PC be able to handle? Pentium Dual Core E5200 @ 2.5 GHz NVIDIA GeForce G100 512MB DDR2 3GB RAM It's running Vista Home 32-bit, if that matters. Hi everyone ! In fact since few days I have a problem with zinc emulator So, When i launch the emu with ZINc.exe in hyperlaunch, zinc flash a little and stop, and hyperlaunch it's running on background.... Impossible to run any game, i 've try with Aldo's ZiNc Front-End v2.2. exe (in HyperHQ) it loads the emulator game list first, i must choose my game and hit enter. What's going on !? Right so I managed to do it! I now have the 52 systems that Im now happy with all up and running. I started from scratch with this build to cut out all the crap I added when I was unsure how hyperspin was working. I like the way my folder structure is looking and once I get a few tweaks here and there I will be happy just to add in slow time and concentrate on just improvements and helping you guys out with Artwork, naming and niffnaff. I have now got my to do list down to one little post it note to get the system to a state Im happy to let it settle. But theres some things I just cant find. I start Hyperspin1.3.2, go to MAME, select a game, and up comes, "Mame Error - Failed Validity". Game starts and then goes to main screen. When I say main screen I mean the game continues to play while in a window behind the mainscreen. So a total of 2 windows. What do I do differently? Where should I start looking for the culprit? Could someone please help me?

Like it says, I have been doing this for a while but I have a few niggles I aint ironed out yet.... First off the "PRESS START" and the "Joystick flash" at the bottom on the themes.... how the hell do you get rid of them???? I know you can go into HyperHQ and tick the boxes to disable them... but they just stay there?? Is there a way to delete them or what would be even better, have a better looking images with Xbox Pad Instructions as I dont use a cab, I have 4x 360 pads. Please help guys, PSX is giving me a real headache and mednafen seems like the only way forward. It works on every other console I use it for but not the playstation. Hi, im sure this has come up before, but my Q button is not working (player 2 button 3) is there a quick fix, that doesnt require me to edit any XML anywhere, I'd rather not have to learn how to write and compile XML ive heard that ( Q & S ) are reserved in an AHK file that is used as a quit command ? I can successfully configure standard jamma00 and jamma01 (using method in module notes). But when going through my Naomi and Atomiswave games I realize that for many games I will have to set specifically through the global module settings editor (v.0.5.8 ahk). That looks like a very long and frustrating task. has anyone uploaded a fully configured "Demul (v0.5.8).ini" for xbox 360 controllers? That would be amazingly helpful! thanks

Hi all, I have several question I have been unable to find the answer to and I hope you can help out (Listed by 'priority'): 1) I have a full working romset for Game Boy and a full box set which I use for the wheel art, however several games do not display the art and instead revert to the default written text, one of these games is Pokemon - Yellow Version - Special Pikachu Edition (USA, Europe). The rom works fine in hyperspin and launches no problem, the art is labeled the same too yet it doesnt appear, any idea as to why? EDIT: Solved.
