I'm currently trying to setup systems in mame/mess that don't have any stand alone emuators. My question is how do you know if and when and what to rename bios files. In trying to setup channelf system and don't know what to rename the bios files. Thank yoy

For android What systems do I have to use for mame emulation?. Example right now I have Atari 5200, Adventure vision and Arcadia 2001. What other systems don't have proper android emulators? Thanks

Hello. I have 2 questions.im using colem free version. 1st is can I use PS3 controller can't figure how to get it to work. 2nd is when I choose a game from hyperspin it goes into colecovision game screen but says turn off game system before inserting cartridge or expansion pack. If I play straight through Colem it plays no problem

Hi, Using RetroArch 17/3/16 build on Nvidia Shield TV to launch (i updated all cores) , settings ok, all goes ok until it tries to launch the game, then just a black screen ! Any ideas ? Thanks in advance

Would it be possible to have a list of all systems that people have currently working through Hyperspin on the NVIDIA Shield (maybe with working date by the side) as well as settings for each system ? This would really help out a lot of people and get more interest in this NVIDIA Shield version of Hyperspin. I know there is already a topic regarding settings but I feel it could be a lot clearer as there is basically just a list of retroarch cores, but nothing to say what these cores can be used for in most instances ( eg, if one core can be used for multiple systems then maybe add it to the topic ? Hello guys im looking for some help im almost done setting up hyperspin with all my favorite emulators now the only emulator im missing is mame i got a all bunch of mame 0.139 roms on my harddrive and when I checked the database file for mame is different from the other databases emulators files it has casino,sports,aviation action and all bunch of other section and i just couldn't manage to get it working, and also how do you make another wheel for your favorites games using all consoles in one wheel i saw a video from youtube and he had a nice setup husing favorites on one wheel i think the name of the wheel was Arcade Classics. I downloaded retro arch and hyper spin on my shield tv. Followed the tutorial and downloaded hyper spin and Settings_Android on my computer and loaded it on my sd card. I'm using mame4droid 0.139. I have the correct rom set. My roms play in retro arch and mame4droid but not in hyper spin. I searched through this forum and think I understand the settings. Mame ini is hyperspin/ Emulators/MAME. My rom path is Emulators/MAME/roms. When in hyperspin I click on Mame and it doesn't take me into the games wheels it just kicks me back to the systems wheel. Hope someone could lead me in the right direction. Been spending days on this. I don't have a setup on my computer. Do I need…

First of all hallo to everyone im glad i found this site sorry if my question sounds very stupid but Where can i get fonts for new emulators names to show on the hyperspin menu with all the other emulators y search the download section and it looks like i can only download packs for font games but not for the emulators thanks guys amd again sorry if i sound stupid and noob!

Been trying to get Colecovision up and running on my Shield TV but roms aren't loading. Pretty sure I'm using the wrong core + my parameters path isn't correct. Can anyone help? I'm using fMSX - is that the only Colecovision core available in Retroarch? Is it possible to get Atari Classics,Capcom Classics etc to use the MAME videos on NVidia Shield ? Even though its set they do not show up, meaning I will have to add the entire set of mame videos to each system if I want them to show up (seeing as there are no existing sets for classics and is quicker than sorting them all out) Thanks

Hi Guys, have used hyperspin on the ShieldTv 16gb running from a 1TB external usb HDD without any problems up until the recent update to marshmallow. I decided to backup my Hyperspin folder then adopt my usb HDD as internal storage so as to be able to download more apps and games onto the shield. I then copied my hyperspin folder back onto the shield in the /sdcard folder (as far as i know this is now the root of the adopted usb drive) Hyperspin runs fine with videos and wheel art up until you choose a game. The first time i chose a game retroarch loaded up to the menu screen and i was able to load the rom from there (which it has never done before, usually goes straight …

So I seem to be having an issue with cd based Emulation. Current systems I am trying to get working are sega CD and Turbografx 16 CD. When I load the TG roms it loads to a black screen. I downloaded the bios files and directed retroarch to them but didnt seem to help. Are they supposed to be named a certain way as far as the bios file names? Any help is appreciated.

Hi, Is it possible to put all the settings for all emulators, including retroarch in one place ? This would be extremely useful as when retroarch is not working there are other options to use. e.g. , N64, Dreamcast etc all have their own emulators, but I can't find settings for these anywhere. Hi there Hyper spinners! Anyone experiencing issues with mame2003 core in retroarch? Several wheels of my hyperpin setup are using this core (atari classics, data east classics, konami, jaleco etc.) and seems to be broken at the moment - games will not work. I have tried mame git and mame4droid, however the games in these wheels are only mame2003 compatible so i get the same result. Any ideas? Thanks!
