Is there any way to get a wheel (or shortcut) that will show a list of favorites across my whole hyperspin setup? I.e. i add a game from mame to favorites, it shows in the favorites of my mame wheel. I add one in Nes and it shows in my Nes favorites. What I want is ALL my favorites, Nes, Mame etc in one place?

Hi, Is there a XML file for scummVM that has the long file names? i.e. like this The Secret of Monkey Island (CD DOS VGA) as my down load has all them zip with this type pf file name would love to get this emu up and running

So I have two wheels for Pinball Arcade and Pinball FX2I'd quite like to set up just a single, pinball wheel, which loads either of these as required.I know how this would be done with standard emulators, but seems these are really reliant on the ahk and not sure how that would work...Any ideas?Thanks

Hi All, i just scooped up an Intel Compute Stick and was wondering if it was fast enough to run Hyperspin. I have Retroarch running Snes and other older cart systems without hiccups but I definitely want a front end. Anyone doing this now? I saw and older post but it never got a real answer. Thank you!

I know we can setup the main menu to launch .exe files instead of going into a sub-wheel. I'm trying to find some solution so that I can run a .bat file when I select an option on the main menu. I tried changing the .bat extension to .exe lol but obviously that didn't do squat haha. Any ideas?

Hello, I'm hoping someone can help me. I guess I will start from the beginning. A few months ago, I purchased a 5TB Hyperspin drive off Ebay; the gentleman installed it for me, and everything worked fine, that was until a few days ago, it now only partly operates. When I say, "partially operates" I mean, it works but without the front end (I think that is what one calls it). Being new to this kind of thing, I foolishly installed backup files that came with the Hyperspin drive. I didn't overwrite the folder structure, i.e., database, arcade, media, setting and things that normally appear in the Hyperspin directory. I have been trying to fix…

Apologies if this has been answered before but i am not having much luck finding my answer. i am half way setting up my Hyperspin but i have noticed a lot of games require the use of a bios file or a CHD or even additional files. is there away that hyper spin only shows the required start game file and not all the other data ? thank you in advance for for your responses

Hey guys. I´m trying to config the rocketlaunch and mame área. I have done everything acording the tutorial (included instaling the nonag file), but when i try to start any MAME rom from hyperspin it gives me the following error "cant find mameuifx.167x64nonag.exe. Can anyone tell me what i´m doing wrong?

I have an 18 button cab and I'm so close to having everything set but I can't stop 1 button from escaping a game in mame. If I try to change in the tab menu it exits. I was thinking I could download a file to put it in a profile folder.

Hi everyone! So, i've taken a good few months out from doing my Hyperspin system as I've been spending the time instead designing my side art for my actual cabinet. That is now off at the printers (yay!) so i'm back to Hyperspin... Turns out, much of my knowledge on how to do things has evaporated Thankfully, most of the systems are already set up, and I remember how to sort through the artwork etc. BUT (and here is the question) - what I want to do is create a separate, main wheel entry, for Light Gun games. I'm using Xarcade setup ( so close to rewiring going with I-PAC 2 ). But when people play games like street fighter or other fighting games and get into button mashing MAME will close or min minimize. So on screen it's back on Hyperspin and you can hear the game still playing over the speakers. Is it some hotkey issue or something? The setup at the moment Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Hey everyone, I have assembled some useful Windows Batch Files to help with the automatic zipping for roms and other tasks. To create the .bat file simply create a text document within Windows and name it what you would like and make sure the extension is .bat Then you want to right click and press 'edit' in order to add text to the document. Simply copy and paste one of the following code and save it. By default windows doesnt normally allow you to see extensions of known file types so you may have to do a quick Google Search on how to show file extensions on all files If you would like to change the compression type to either 7z or zip, simply replace the …

for some reason when I try to click on a nes or snes game in hyperspin it wont go into the game. Mame works perfectly fine. Everything work well in rocketlauncher. I also get no error messages when clicking on a nes or snes game. The extensions are set in hyperhq and I also have the path of the roms. I cant figure this out.

Hopefully this will be my last newb question for a while. I've gotten the trackball to work within mame, I've gotten highscores to save, I've figured out how to sort by letter. Now next on my list is to change the look by installing a new theme. I downloaded one from here HyperSpin Redesign - Chicuelo (20130727). I dont' see any guides on how to make these work so I'm a little lost on how to go about it. Do I need to download any artwork or anything? I've not yet donated here and emumovies but I do plan to in order to use hypersync. Hi All, I have downloaded ScummVM, its all setup in Hyper HQ & Hyperlaunch, ive downloaded brokensword 1, game found in hyperlaunch. Problem is I cant get it working in the ScummVM emulator first? can anyone help. What format should the game / file be in? When I open scummvm it wont let me click on any of the game files, what should the main game file be? Really appreciate any help thanks

Hi All I hope you can help. I'm having some issues getting mame (uifx 153) to launch with scanlines, they work fine when launch from mame but not when using hyperspin Mame games look different, it appears that hyperspin isn't using the mame.ini. *Please not this is just the scanline artwork and not HLSL or GLSL as my rig is not capable of running these modes. Thanks in advance for any guidance you can offer.

Hello, I am interested in starting a new project. I have a Seagate 4TB external hard drive I want to reformat with FAT32 so I can use it with WiiFlow on Nintendo Wii and also use HyperSpin on PC at the same time. This way, I believe I would only need one set of roms and possibly art. I believe I will need two sets of emulators so I can setup the controls separately on both (PC xbox 360 conrollers) (Wii wiimotes/gamecube controllers) I plan on using everything in the default wiiflow folders and then use RLauncher to route everything in the Wiiflow folders for HyperSpin. Obviously I will use the Wii Backup manager for wbfs for backups of my wii games to keep it u…

Has HyperHQ become redundant, may sound like a stupid question but it has ceased to work on my PC, will not launch. Did a search but cannot find much info on it. It had been working fine. I have windows 7 64bit, all updates installed and latest drivers.

I did become a paid member here and at emumovies to get HyperSync going and I have my MAME setup working quite well with RocketLauncher. Hi all, I have a 2 player cabinet that I built and I quite like playing Gauntlet on it. However, I can only pick the first 2 characters (Warrior and Wizard I think is the other one).
