I've really committed myself to learning RetroArch and have been well rewarded for the effort - it's an awesome piece of software that really simplifies things for us HyperSpin enthusiasts. It got me thinking though - what is the stance of the original emulators designers whose software was used to develop the cores in multi emulator platforms like RetroArch? Do they welcome the use of their software in RetroArch or do they prefer that gamers use their original emulator? If it were me, I suppose I would see developing an emulator as a devotion to a particular platform and a labor of love, so I would probably welcome my work being forked into new projects and finding avenu…

Hi all! Wanted to post this somewhere for my friends to see. "Back in the day", shortly after the Amiga 500 was released in the US I was a proud owner of an Amiga 500 (with an A501 installed), a 1084s monitor and a A1010 external floppy. I was a happy camper. A few years later I was forced to relieve myself of it and have wanted another ever since. I started looking a few years ago to find, they are expensive here in the states. Hard to find. I did not want to get a PAL one, mainly because of the hassle and expense. So I keept my eyes out for a cheap A500. Score last week! A stock A500 for dirt cheap. I just got retroarch workin with the DS in a horizontal orientation. Which do y'all perfer The top screen on the left or the right? Part of me likes left...while my eyes kinda graviatate towards the center of both my screens.

Yo dudes. since we have enough arcade builders here i got a question. the cab i am gonna build is gonna be 18mm mdf and will me laminated on both side so it will become 20mm is there t-molding out there wider then 18mm that i can trim using a t molding trimmer? just want to be sure

Has anyone come across Hypervision? I can't find much info on it but it seems like these guys took hyperspin and were able to fit the wheel on the side. So basically you get the wheel and the theme and there's no need to convert anything to widescreen. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7pqp3E1AqT4 If these guys can do this, why can't any of the brilliant programmers here come up with something similar?

has anyone made up and drinking games or rules that involve drinking for any mame games. we played gauntlet last night where you had to take a shot for every quarter you added things got a little crazy but it added a level of danger that reminded me of playing games in the arcade back in the day with a limited number of cash.

So as the witching season rapidly approaches what are your Halloween traditions? Do you have parties,black mass rituals, deck out the house, watch movies and play seasonal video games? Our house is already kitted out the usual ornaments and candles and we will be having some friends around for a bit of a fancy dress party. Anyone else experiencing this or have experienced this. Just recently, from any pc I have, I can't connect to Hyperspin or Emumovies via Chrome or IE with my current ISP. But on my Data Plan, mobile network, no issues. I doubt that my ISP would have block these sites. I wanted to reach out here before digging further. Thanks!
