zerojay
I wish all this PCLauncher stuff was properly documented somewhere, not buried on page 15 of a thread. :/
R-DuB
Will HyperTheme work with MP4 videos?
Circo
No it will not, best to use a placeholder flv's until its updated
blackcube
Any advice on mp4 videos being a garbled mess. The sound comes through fine for each game (I checked the "reload background" box in HQ). Running Windows 7 and HS v1.3. The movies are the 480p format from EmuMovies. retroACTIVE
I gave up uninstalling and re-installing crap. I just re-imaged my machine. Works Perfect!
blackcube
I think Circo replied to my question, but my post disappeared. Anyway, the I'm having trouble with the NES 480p videos displaying corrupt video within the default NES theme in HS. The sound is fine, and they play just fine outside of Hyperspin. Any suggestions? tagged45
I tried 1.3 and 1.3.1 and neither one seemed to work right with my UltraStik 360 joysticks. Back to 1.2 for me until it can be worked out, but really looking forward to the upgrade. Thank you for the effort!

Back to 1.2 for me until it can be worked out, but really looking forward to the upgrade. Thank you for the effort! Mine is the same way. But I can't go back, because I deleted all my flv videos and replaced with mp4s. Hopefully it can get resolved soon. Looking forward to this upgrade. BladeZX
I ran HyperSync through all systems and some mp4s downloaded but most are still flv videos. How much has been replaced by mp4s?
Trnzaddict
I have a question for all the guys running the u360's and having issues, because I want to get some myself soon when the rotary addon comes out finally. Can't you guys use a program like xpadder or something to use in HS? This way you don't even have to enable joystick support in HyperQ, just use keyboard support? I really don't want to revert to 1.2 if I get u360's. 1.3 seems alot smoother on my cab and the quality/ framerate of the mp4's trump flv big time. Secret80'sMan
I'm just gonna wait until its fixed before upgrading as I like using my U360 and don't wanna dick around with temporary workaround solutions.
Circo
Im going with the xpadder solution, I know USB Joy support wasnt going to be in 2.0 anyway, and knowing why there is usb joystick issues, im not going to wait for a solution. Better if the support is dropped altogether imho.
brownvim
why would you want 360 controller support dropped? Its the main controller for a PC?
MonkeyJug
I posted this in the hypersync section, but may have more exposure in here. Hope it's ok... I've upgraded to the .mp4 vids and HS 1.3 on both my machines. All videos play fine on one machine, but they ALL glitch in the other (my main lounge htpc). They are all blocky, like 1cm square blocks, and grey/silver and flashing. I'm stumped as to why this is happening. i have lav filters installed on both machines as i use mediaportal as my frontend on my main htpc... Anyone got any ideas? Edit: all vids play perfect on mpc-hc, but all vids glitch in HS. I tried both 1.3 and 1.31...
rdhanded2
I have not upgraded to .mp4 yet, but I added 1.3 to my HL 2.25 setup. Now when I click on a wheel, HS locks up. I have to alt/tab to another screen, then back for it to unlock. I can not launch any wheels. Is this something silly I am over looking?
blackcube
I'm having the same problems with mp4s. They run great outside of HS, but display bad video inside HS. This is on a fresh Windows 7 x64 build with no custom themes in HS.
