Hi, I've already seen this post http://www.hyperspin-fe.com/forum/showthread.php?15363-Hibernate-instead-of-shutdown but using this method PC will hibernate after hyperspin exit... So when I start PC I will see desktop. Is there a way to hibernate with hyperspin running? Thanks to everyone

I'm trying to make a theme in Hypertheme. I loaded a background image ok. Went to upload an Artwork1, and got hit with this error message "could not create tmp dir". I tried with Artwork2/3/4 etc and still same error. What does this error mean?

How about you guys? I think Hyperspin causes a paradox of choice where we have so much to choose from we sort of don't know what to do sometimes or at the very least gravitate to what is most comfortable. Thoughts? Also, what is your favorite game this week and why? Nostalgia or Chance?

Hey guys i was searching around for how to best integrate multiple cd games in hyperspin, and the onlything i found was a script on how to change games with hotkeys.... Does anyone know if there is a better way. Like for example; combine multiple cd iso's into one, or something like that. Does hyperlaunch have a funktion for this maybe? Thankx in advance

I recently picked up a 4TB external drive as this hobby is requiring more and more roomy accommodations in the Gigs Motel and I want to stretch my legs into the CD based systems (and a little DVD-based, but we won't go into that. ^.^) The drive is only 5900 RPM and currently running on USB 2.0, though I do have the option to switch to my single 3.0 port with some cable shuffling. I previously had my Hyperspin setup on a 2TB USB 2.0 external which is 5900 RPM as well, and as far as launching games (and also queuing for Hyperlaunch to close once I exit a game,) it was slow-ish but workable. I'm peripherally aware of policies governing the work/release of files to cover certain systems, Nintendo DS specifically; to my knowledge, games for it are actually still being made and this is probably keeping the database and themes from being spread about. I have plenty of systems to work on so DS isn't exactly stopping me having a more complete collection, but I figured I'd inquire as to the state of things on that front. Hi, I bought an arcade machine two years ago and it had hyperspin on it. However, I want it to have more artwork for the wheel and box art but I am pretty new at this and don't know how. I checked the hyperspin folder for mame and it has about 4,000 wheel artwork but I have over 12,000 mame games. I wanted to know how I get the wheel artwork for the remaining games. Also if there is an option in hyperspin where it shows the total number of games I have. I am thinking since it have 4,000 wheel artwork it will only show those games not 12,000 games. Also I want to update everything to work with mame 0.148u1 how will i go about it. Thanks.

Having trouble getting led blinky to light the right buttons i have config folder mapped mame.xml mapped and controls.ini mapped do I need to also have the controller file mapped because I don't seem to have a ctlr folder in the mame directory ? Buttons light up but not the right ones. I am not using default button mapping in mame I have re mapped buttons to suit myself does this affect ledblinky?

Hi Guys, Im up to getting a controller connected to my HTPC to start smashing some games out... I want to get the wireless 360 controller running, but i wanted to ask a few questions. 1. Is it just plug and play ? 2. Do i need a dongle or something to get this working, if so can someone link me please 3. Do i need software eg xpadder to config keys or is this done at a HyperLaunch level ? Also when charging does it charge like normal as in plug in the usb cable into a free port and it works to charge as well as play ? Thanks very much for your time.

When I was a teenager I went to a local retail game shop called Gamequest. I bought a 20 dollar game, because I had 20 bucks. Which is like "Hell yeah!!" when you're a teen. Hey guys, how do you properly close out of a game and get back to the hyperspin wheel? For example, playing n64 mario kart, how to I exit properly out of mario kart and get back to the hyperspin wheel? Only thing I've been able to do is control, alt, delete and attempt to stop th program with no mouse cursor. Any help would be great, thanks. I've setup an escape and start button but that doesn't work.

Hi folks, So the job is almost done, my cab is over, i did all the database stuff month ago, xml are working flawlessly, but i can't find a way to print anything from "don's list generator" Do you know a software that allows me to print all my game lists with only the name of the games from my xml files ???? thanks for the help once more

I'm using a pretty powerful pc. My question is, are there any best settings for demul? Sega Naomi 2 games run, but the sound lags behind the action and cuts off at time, and some times the graphics aren't that great. I saw videos of some people running it pretty well and with great graphics. I have multi threading enabled and list sorting off. Also a side question... How do i get into the test mode? IN Makaron it's f1 and f2, I can't figure out what it is in Naomi. I'd appreciate any help

I'm having issues with roms not displaying correctly. If I'm playing mario kart and chose to play normal mode (4 races) with everyone racing, the first race is fine and working, but when you get to the second race, only half of the screen is there for one player, and the other half is black. Why is it doing this? Is it a display issue? Another issue I'm having is Going to sega genesis and playing star wars racer and when it comes up and the race only 3/4 of the screen is showing and the other is black
