I'm trying to set Exit & Start from my panel, but I just get very rather erratic pattern, that I have no idea what it depends on. I went to HyperHQ and under: Controls>Keyboard I changed [Exit] from "Esc" to: "2" + "CONTRC" + "O" and [start] to: "1" It works in the main menu and the wheels, but once I'm in the game I have to hit "Esc" on they keyboard. Once it exits then I can use the keys assigned (not always though! Once it managed to show me choice in red box that said to exit press "Esc_Kbd" or something to that effect!) Also when I hit "Tab" to enter the MAME menu, I used to be able to hit "Esc" to immediately return to the game. Now it if I hit "Esc" whil…

I never did it before so I'm a bit unsure how to actually do it... I know you have to actually add the new emulator in the Emulator setting by clicking the magnify glass and searching for the emulator .exe file (I got that part) but I get confused when it comes to selecting the module... when I click to add the module the list empty. I want to add MAME as the emulator but not sure what to do after I add the emulator... any guides? or suggestions?

AARrrrrhhhhhhgggggg NNNOOOOOoooooooooooooo, yes thats the short version of what I said last night. I need some advise / help please, Last night after finishing the artwork for a wheel I clicked on the shortcut for HS but it couldn't find it (my head started to drop) then as I thought the drive was missing (see above comment) So I restarted and it was back so I quickly formatted a spare USB drive and started backing up I managed to get the whole HS folder, every system roms apart from the mame ones (alittle bit more AARrrhhggging) but the Rocketlauncher folder I cant get all of it I have the top 3 folders then from media down I cant get, but after the folders I got the…

So I have three desktops in my house i want to transfer hyperspin to my livingroom machine (because streaming isn't really working for me) should i just copy the drive my hyperspin lives on (which is on its own drive F: i think) onto another seperate drive on the other machine with the same letter? Or sould i get some cloning software? I know some configuring and bits will need doing but whats the safest painfree way to copy hyperspin? Thanks

Hey Guys I am at the point in my HS adventure that I think I have all the systems I want set up and working. I have noticed that PS2, gamecube and WII often have the same games... Is there a list or can we make one of games that are on multiple platforms? I would like to weed out duplicates. Also I recall a program I downloaded here, that scans your games and will move or remove files that are not needed in a system setup? I can not recall the name.. anyone help? I used it to delete duplicates and unwanted data. ***SOLVED THIS PART** Romfoldercleaner Any other tips to deleted duplicate's and unneeded data?

I would like to dim the wheel to 100% transparency for just a few roms in a system is this possible? or is it a per system feature as per the hyperHQ settings? As i write this I am realizing this is probably baked into the specific theme for each rom... can anyone shed some light on how this is possible. I have created some basic themes for a few games in my Steam wheel can these be edited to include a transparent wheel? Thanks.

Hello everyone I have now been trying for the past day to get JoyToKey to work and although I thought I was close I still have a few issues. 1) When I first load HS and choose my required emulator i.e Neo Geo go in and select a game and press the button everything works fine. The Joystick works fine the buttons I have mapped all work fine even my genre and favourite buttons work and even if I hold down on the Joystick for 2 secs I can select a letter from the alphabet to choose. So everything works up until this point but its when I exit out of Hyperspin and then re-load it I have a problem. The JTK icon is still displayed in my task bar. So once I load up HS aga…

Hey guys I have not updated rl in couple months. I always hit no when it asks. Then I seem Austin posted a warning about updating as there was issues with fade? Hi im looking for a version of nintendo "nes" xml. Back in the days here in Sweden we did not get to play all of the nes games. We had this general importer that quality checked ninteno games and decided if it was good enuf for the swedish market. The were called Bergsala. Because of this there is a load of games in the standard xml that i have never seen. I wold love a swedish version of the xml that would match my childhood memories. anyone got one?

Hi folks! im having issues with hyperspin. it lag and when stick is pushed to scroll to next game in hangs and just keep going. If the gamelist is long for the system it tend to lag more. in smaler lists it kinda ok. so im thinking about my harware. if its ok to run smooth or if i need to upgrade? im running win7. fresh and not mutch on. standard hdd (no sdd) intel Celeron 2.7ghz 2 gb ram grafic card: nvida gforce 230 As you can see nothing fancy. But what does hyperspin need?

hey guys I have a custom Hyperspin setup that starts simply into arcade classics which is my mame.xml. Within that single wheel I have Daphne and Mame games listed. My question is can you have a games display in multiple genres.. For instance .. I have a Genre listed as "Neo Geo Games" and a separate genre list called "Fighting Games", say I want King of Fighters to be listed in Both "Fighting Games" and "Neo Geo Games" Genres.. The xml shows one game listed in the Mame.xml file.. Is it simply a matter of the proper switches to allow that game to be listed in other genre wheels? Hi all, just did an update with rocketlauncher and now when i try to play a game through hyperspin it says Cannot find C:RocketLauncher\RocketLauncherUI\Database\Nintendo Enterainment System\Nintendo Enterainment System.xml did this happen when i updated? Hi all, I am way newbie in all this. I have been following they youtube vids from Simple Austin to set up a MAME system with Rockerlauncher/Hyperspin. They are very good. I have everything loading and almost working. My problem is I am using a X-Arcade controller with trackball, and he used a Xbox360 controller. When I load HS my left joystick moves the wheel up and down, L/R moves to next/past letter in alphabet. But none of the buttons select a game. I want to run hyperspin on my freshly installed win 7 x64 machine, but both latest 1.3 and 1.4 don't start at all. Hello everyone, I was very close to end the hyperspin1.4 + rocketlauncher + groovymame configuration (with MAME, SNK, CAPCOM and SEGA GENESIS systems) and everything worked perfectly. In the last minute I decided to try installing the Commodore Amiga system and when I tried to test the other working systems appeared the error message "You did not supply any valid rom extensions..." I was hoping there might be an IPAC expert out there in the Hyperspin forums. Here is my weird issue: My IPAC is all hooked and it tested great, I played some pacman to ensure all was right with the world. Now things aren't, sometimes the controls work great and other times not so much. When I say they don't work, the keys assigned to the buttons seem to change or just stop working. Hello everyone! I am having an issue where when I launch GroovyMame from a command line, it selects the correct video mode, like this: But when I launch it via HyperSpin, it selects a semi-random res, like this: In my mame.ini, I have "refresh_dont_care 1" and "lock_system_modes 0" set, so that's not it. I also posted this on the GroovyMame forums, but haven't gotten a reply yet. Though soemone here may have some insight! Thanks!

Ok i built a bartop arcade using my old laptop running xp. It is a old one and runs hyperspin ok. I deleted all the systems but mame for a real arcade feal. But i need a old mame module for my romset .139. My laptop wont run ewer versions of mame because of the graphics card. My .139 runs every game i need it to and it use to work on older versions of hyperspin. Does someone have the older mame modules so i can get this to work?
