Winning, teamwork

I will try and give this thread some heads up if i see anything.

Not sure if @ci2own bezel set had a mention.

Also Krackerman needs some love. That guy is a tropper.

Also the Nintendo GameCube disc thread is bubbling away with some outstanding quality.

Thank you very much thatman84! It would be great because i guess a lot of people doesn't know there's nearly complete set of bezels (Only handhelds are missing).

So it was you! thanks ! :)

Subs's wii-u and 3ds themes perhaps ? I don't know if that's dangerous to mention on social media.. with Nintendo and all and you know how they get when you tread on their intellectual property

Thank you Avar for the mention.

- crown's unified bezel pack and kraker's bezel experience project for sure are worth mentioning.

- fr0st's HBL app is something that we should advertise for sure, however we might want to wait a little bit more in its development (and check with him as well).

How about covering the resurrection of the new unified hypertheme project?

Did a big one today to make up for the ongoing projects I missed. The only thing I didn't include from what was mentioned was the Wii U / 3DS themes but I will tomorrow. It's arguably just "fanart" so I can't see Nintendo getting terribly pissy and they have bigger fish to fry. Will cover more on HyperBase Live in the near future as it levels up to its next form.

Thanks so much for the help guys. This is something I've wanted to do for years but it's daunting with all the great work going on. I appreciate you making sure I don't miss anything!

@Avar don't cover to much in one article. you will exhaust the news supply and then there will be silence again.

as you can see by the amount of likes and comments, hyperspin has lost quite an amount of following. and in my humble opinion it's not the amount of stuff you cover in one article but more the amount of articles you put out, spread it about in days and give each item that you're covering a bit more attention.

now don't take my word for it as I'm just an IT proffesional and not known for my communication skills. it's a, I hesitate to use this phrase, "feeling' *shudder* that I have.

@Avar i agree with Klop, maybe one or two items per post but it all depends on the time you have really as i know your in and out of here. Its tough all being community lead makes it harder for consistency

Now that I'm caught up I'll meter it out more but I'm finding there's usually a healthy supply of things to talk about.

Just a quick spotlight today on @SubZero Nintendo projects. Heading into the boonies w/o internet, likely for the evening (longer if I'm murdered) but I should be back for another update tomorrow, hopefully one that includes the next HS Tut @[email protected]

One-shot update today to bring everyone's attention to RetroHumanoid's hefty RL Fade/Pause project! There were a number of great themes and an awesome Box Art set from SupraKarma that I've made note of as well for later.

Big one today! Work's been crazy today so a quick update to show off to the public how much the resolution has increased in artwork recently, a really slick wheel set cleaned up by Kondorito that was submitted a ways back and never officially added, some more themes/marquees, Bliss-Box's new purchasing options, and SupraKarma's latest Ultimate set. Cheers!

Was a super busy day for me but I managed to fit the update in :nyam2:With a few modern themes released at at about the same time, I took the opportunity to show off some other random PC Game themes on top of the day's news.

There were a lot of people I missed today that I'll have to pick up tomorrow! On that note, today's shout out was to @Suhrvivor, @svinik, @odenmc, @SupraKarma, @Circo, and @DamnedRegistrations. Y'all rock!

Have a great day/night everybody! Is Avar sleepytime! :empathy2:

      Hi,
Die Buttons (also A, B ,... ) beim Xbox One Controller gehen aber trotzdem noch.
Anmerkung: Der Hori Fighten Stick hat als Input für Up,Down,....POV
      Schon mal Danke im Voraus

      Hello guys,
I'm working on a Tate build with Hyperspin for candy 15khz cab.
I made it for used with jammAsd or ipac2 or something who use a keyboard encoder.
I was thinking to find solution for people who will used it with a 1player panel with 3buttons and start.

      Usually the keybinding is
      Start p1 . 1
      Button 1 . Lctrl
      Button 2 . Lalt
      Button 3. Space
      Button 4 . Shift

My trouble is hyperhq don't recognize the alt key. My thought was to ask rocketlauncher to use an AHK script to change lalt::k
No problem, it works. If I start it manually, Hyperspin recognize my button2 (lalt) as a k.
I change few thing in rocketlauncher asking it to use AHK I made under RL Hyperspin.ahk. I select external in settings, etc.
But its not working, I didn't see the script in my task bar 😶
As I used a lot of ahk keymapper for pc Games in this build I don't want to start it with hyperhq at the start of Hyperspin, maybe it will be the mess.

If you have any Idea, thanks guys 🙂
If you want to have a look to the build

This is my ICade mod using USB encoder for the joystick and buttons with a Dell micro PC in the back end with USB volume knob. Powered by Windows 10, Hyper-Spin, and Rocket-Launcher with Atari 2600, MAME, Nintendo Entertainment System, and Sega Genesis emulators and roms set up. The display is a 4:3 8 inch Neewar monitor which I purchased off of Amazon. I have acrylic glass behind my wooden bezel which I drilled out holes for monitor buttons in both the bezel and glass. All artwork was created by me in Photoshop and printed on adhesive vinyl. The marquee was made with the same acrylic glass and has an 8 inch LED glass enclosure with remote made for small fish aquariums I purchased off of Amazon as well. All wood paneling is MDF material and was cut and drilled via a Black and Decker drill with spade bits and a small Dremel band saw. I mostly used gorilla glue to piece everything together. I used Behr Marquee 2 in 1 primer and paint to paint the MDF material. The Hyper-Spin intro video was created by me using open source and free program Open Shot Video Editing. It took me roughly 2 months to complete from start to finish in between work and my family lol. I am so glad I did it though I am so pleased and happy with the outcome. A match made in Heaven! MY favorite band KISS (original members) and my favorite hobby retro arcade. I absolutely love it!

Hi all.    very new to this, but a bit handy when it comes to building stuff.
A good friend of mine showed me his bartop machin that he was in the process of buillding and after looking at some of the games etc (running on pi) i was wowed.    decided to have a go myself as I was off work over xmas.....so it begins...

Had a look around the web for the kind of machine I wanted to build but nithing really caught my eye so went with a standard kind of cabinet - no sizes or plans, just a little sketch on the back of a used envelope and away we go - only consideration I had to make was the screen size.   Popped to my local currys/pc world - had a look, wanted to have 4k - but whch size?  once its bought you cant go any bigger so I figured its all or nothing so picked up a 43" 4k LG smart tv.
Everything was build around it, so I only had to make sure the inside dimension of the cabinet was 40" had it all built and working in about 3 days - took another 5 days or so adding bits here and there...speakers and subwoofer, foot rail, hidden draw for keyboard /mouse etc.

all worked out great - still learning config of hyperspin but will get there in the end

Cant wait to build the MK2 now....
video below  - compiled from pictures i took while maing the cabinet - all put together by apple iphone lol.
      Jevs Arcade - youtube

Taken this morning after fitting the footrail. pretty much finished now  hope you like!
