I was able to get ride of the "press start" by putting false in the .ini file, but when I change it to false for Special Art A, nothing changes. Not sure why it worked on Special Art B, but not A...

I've been looking around at all of the HQ artwork at EmuMovies and had some questions. Can I replace the both the main menu and game menu with the same template/theme or do I need one for the main menu and one for the games menu once you select the system? If so, do I just the files it into a default.zip file and replace the existing one in the Theme folder? I came across some Platform Videos as well for the main menu that are HQ .mp4 files. How can I use those on the main menu? Just trying to get it looking as nice as possible!!! My main concern is the main menu theme for the system matching up once I select it and it goes into the game selection menu.

First off, apologize for the double post, but I’m having a few issues and need a few questions answered. ive got hyperspin running with Sega genesis and all is ok, I’m moving to Mame and I’m a bit hung up. 1. I’ve got a perfect Mame 0.139 set ready for Android. I’m in the understanding you have to have your romsets unzipped for Android. I’ve unzipped them properly and they are all in their seperate folders. now if I have this correctly, I have to go into Hyperspin/settings and adjust the “romextension” to match the unzipped rom extension? I’ve done this for genesis. Currently it’s “zip” obviously. My question is, when the Mame roms unzip , it’s not in…

Currently all my games are zipped from my pc HS setup what is the correct file structure so that RA can scan them properly when I unzip them. Every game it’s it’s own sub folder? Can RA scan subfolders? sounds like a cluster hoop if you can’t. my bios is in RA/System which I believe is the default. I’m really confused about unzipping these for ps1 cheeeers!!

Going to attempt my first android install now, reading so much back and forth about zip/unzip Roms. my primary focus is getting retro arch fully done. Do I unzip or no? and if you have to, on the Shield Pro Tv can you drag hyperspin off your USB flash drive, because at 128 gb, it’s not an insane amount of room for full collections. If you can drag it to Nvdia HD, where does it go? thanks in advance, the guides are fantastic

Hi all, My MAME theme does not show any game themes or game videos. They exist under Hyperspin/media/Mame/Videos and play fine in an external player Are there any log files that get created for the android version? I can see the wheel artwork per game and the games load and run fine. Whats the first thing to check? The android_settings does have a video path but if im correct this can be ignored? Using an Nvidia Shield Portable. Thanks for your time and help.

Can someone please direct me to where to change the folder for where video snap vids are located? I'm setting up on a Shield TV 16gb, I've changed the rom path to my external HD by changing e.g. NES System.ini but if I change the Default Video path in there it doesn't work. Hi all I am looking to push the limits of Hyperspin a bit more to fulfill my needs (and most definately others) and have 2 quick questions..... 1. Is it Possible to have 2 hyperspins on the Shield TV that point to different folders - so I can split my arcade overloaded wheel and consoles/computers wheel. I did use Tasker to make a quick app that just took different mainmenu.xmls and renamed them before launching hyperspin. It worked but was messy. Hey guys I'm having issues using my xbox 360 controller on my alienwarealpha, for my hyperspin. A while ago the screen on my alienware, was taking a long time to show the desk top screen. My friend said I could do a refresh to get it working properly. Once that was done, I noticed I had it had installed, windows 8.1, instead of the windows 8.0. Now all my pc games are in tact and everything else is working, except for my controller, which doesn't work now, and when I go to hyperspin, I can't use my 360 controller to spin the wheel, or load games. Hello everyone! New to the forum and to Hyperspin in general. I've been trying to get an install working and trying to find a beautiful universal theme that I can use to keep a sleek look. All themes I tried with SWF files either don't load the swf portion OR even worse i've found have crashed my setup all together. I've been able to test this by going back and forth adding in single themes to the main menu *like an atari 2600.zip that has swf* and then removing it for stock. Any word on what I can do? I'm just looking for one unified look for every system in main menu and in each individual wheel. Thanks! -J

I recently bought an Nvidia Shield TV and have got Hyperspin and Retroarch working in tandem to power 22 systems. Three have been giving me a bit of a fit. -Magnavox Odyssey 2 -- I go through the wheel, select it... and then I can see the games list. When I select a game, it bounces back to the MO2 games list. I don't get any kind of error warning (i.e. that it can't find the emulator or it can't find the roms). I've tried everything... most recently, extracting the bins from the .zip files. I have attached a working and tested revision. Included 1. Photoshop PSD and the layers extracted to PNG 2. Main Menu buttons SpecialB1 3. Main Menu border SpecialA1 4. Sorry if this has been asked and is going over old ground but whas the best way (if any) to launch Hyper spin from within SPMC/KODI so that you can launch the indvidiual systems? Basically im doing my own personal SPMC build for home use, ive got all the TV stuff done, but now id like a menu called Games then with sub menus with the systems (Genesis, Snes, Dreamcast) and then be able to launch them so that it takes me to the games for that system only. Ive managed it with Rom Collection Browser, but am limited to how it looks once the system opens up and displays the games I have. where as Hyperspin looks a classer and more importantly...flashier lol

Hi Guys, I have a Hyperspin set up on windows for my cab but Ive just set up on my Shield (Android version) and its working great. I was wondering though can I just copy over the database, Settings, Media Files, Roms etc... from my Windows version to Android?
