Just updates PCSX2 to v1.4.0. The module looks for the ini files in \ini but in v1.4.0 PCSX2 saves the modules in \inis_1.4.0 Fixed it in my module and now everything is working again.

There are a few games on the Apple II that require the use of the Escape key. Some are not a big deal -- it may just be used to access an unimportant menu. One of the games, Taipan, actually requires you to press the "Escape" key to start the game! All of my Hyperspin stuff uses the Escape key to exit back to the menu (actually it is a multiple button press on my cocktail table) and I wanted to keep it uniform. So basically, I modded the game so you would press the space bar instead of the Escape key to start the game. Oops... so i used hyperspin checker to rename some zipped files in mygames folder. I failed to realize i am supposed to only use this program on unzipped files. So now my issue is the zipped file shows up in the xml database, but the file inside still needs to be renamed. My main question Is there a tool that can rename the contents of my zipped game file to match and be the same as the name of the zip file its in. Or am I better off starting over with a fresh download, new folder of files to unzip , rename, and re zip each file 1 by

Can anyone be of assistance to help me with a lightgun problem? when I use lightgun and play any light gun game (in hyperspin)for instance the screen goes haywire when i press trigger quickly and screen goes back to windows desktop but i can hear game running in background of hyperspin? This only happens with light gun games. I think its a setting in windows but forgot how to fix it . Thanks a lot for any help:) Im running windows 10

I haven't tinkered around with my arcade in quite some time, so I thought I would try and play some of the light gun games. After a bit of frustration, I've realized that the aimtrak guns work perfectly when I launch Area51 from MAME directly, but they go bananas when I try and launch it through HS as I would any other game. For example, the aiming is a bit shaky, and the first time I shoot off screen, the crosshair goes away completely. Has anybody else had this problem? Area51 has worked correctly many many times, so I'm not sure what happened! Furthermore, all other gun games seem to work just fine.

Does anybody know how to actually escape a game back to Hyperspin menu ? I have tried setting ALT+F4 and other settings in PC Launcher module but no luck. Is there a keyboard button i am missing that I can set to xpadder ? Its not escape as I tried that. Any help appreciated

Hi all, I'm having an issue with a certain rom, Slap Fight (slapfigh.zip). When I tick the "Parent Only" option in Hyper HQ, Slap Fight disappears from my list in Hyperspin. There are 3 or 4 variations of Slap Fight but it seems as though it's not recognising any of them as parents. Any ideas? Thanks.

Gents, I'm trying to configure Atari Lynx for Hyperspin via RL and apply a bezel. When I hit F1 to enter the RA menu it automatically goes full screen and I can adjust the view point to center within the bezel. I've edited the Atarti Lynx.cfg through the retroarch menu as well as manually and it continues to blow up full screen once the RA menu appears. Is this core designed specifically to run in Fullscreen? My .cfg is attached. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks in advance!! I have been configuring HyperSpin after the initial setup and it is going well. MAME is fine and have all of the games I want. However, when I went to put NES on there, the emulator pops up in another window. I have the setting in HyperHQ that says "Execution: HyperLaunch", but it goes out of HyperSpin and then gives control to the Fceaux window instead of keeping in within HyperSpin like MAME does for the games. The games come up fine, but is this an issue with the emulator settings that I can change or the HyperSpin settings where I can get it to spawn the way the MAME ones do so it doesn't look like there is 2 windows open? Hi guys! I'm calling on the experts here. Upon recently updating HL-3 to rocketlauncher I have noticed that the "filter roms only" feature in hyperhq seems broken. I am aware that during the rocketlauncher update some of the hyperhq settings regarding the launcher were changed. I can get the rom filter working if I re-enter the full path to the roms and put in the rom extension (for only ONE rom extension). However it doesn't work if I put in 2 rom extensions (e.g. tape and disk extension for spectrum). I am separating the extensions in hyperhq by a comma and it still doesn't work. Rocketlauncher seems to use both extensions at once. Has anyone got a fix? …

Hello again, I am in the process of updating my .xml database files and i am finding that some emulators are not recognizing as may roms as the old .xml files. Is this a naming issue, or are the entries just not included in the new .xml file? if it is a naming issue, are there tools to rename roms to match the names in the .xml file? Thanks in advance

Hi guys What needs to be done to have wheel sounds play? I have a NES wheel with a couple of hundred mp3 files in this folder: D:\HyperSpin\Media\Nintendo Entertainment System\Sound\Wheel Sounds The sounds play fine in HyperSpin. If I remove all of those sounds and replace with some WAVs I have created myself, they don't play. If I delete the WAVs and just pop in 1 or 2 of the original MP3 files I don't think they play. If I re-save the WAVs as MP3s they don't seem to play. Is there any documentation about this? I must be missing something or being daft! Do you need a certain number of sounds files in the folder? This may be the wrong forum but I'm posting this on mobile and from a newly made account. Last year I created an account on hyperspins website and paid for a lifetime membership (I believe, it's been a year since I had to log back in). Well now when I try to login it tells me my account is waiting for approval and no further emails have been received or anything on my side. How can i stop WMP starting when Daemon Tools Mounts a Saturn Game..? Also the emu screen is taller than the Bezel, its ok at the top but is lower that than bezel, i have options set to Full Screen for Bezel and for SSF i notice you can adjust for this in an offset in the Module Setting but it just says make the number higher or lower and there is no number, so i don't know where my starting point is. And also the Bezels, Don't go to the bottom of the screen, my task bar is set on AutoHide but there's a small gap. Running Win 7 x64 The Last Hyperspin 3.? before it became Rocketlauncher And Hyperspin 1.3 not the new beta.

Hello, Recently discovered Hyperspin and... wow. I'm all in on this one. (Thank you to everyone here, I've picked up a lot thus far) However I have one bottleneck as I'm building. I'm not sure how much storage space that I'll need. I will try to download as many sets as I can find and I have my eyes on everything from Atari - PS2/Gamecube; possibly even the Wii down the line. (I really want an AIO if possible) Anyone out there that's actually done this and could chime in on how much space I'll need? Maybe even a guesstimate? 10 TB? 20 TB?.... 30 TB? Hi Guys, I am having trouble with my display screen when i run some consoles, eg Master system, Megadrive, game gear and NES. the screen display is the upper left corner of the screen for the above systems. I have selected fullscreen in HyperspinHQ but noting seems to fix the issue The game gear bezel is working but the screen is in the right hand corner of the bezel I have selected true to the bezels being on and have tried them off as well. I have tried changing the fading settings with no luck. My SNES setting are the same as those above but it is running full screen with no dramas. …

So with RocketLauncher's fades, I can display the genre while loading a game, which is very cool, but what I'd really like is to display genre while browsing the games in HyperSpin. That way when I have friends over, they can stop on a game, see what genre it is, and know whether they want to try it out. I see that I can make it display the game title, publisher, and the year already. Is there a way to do this?
