Looking for a definitive list of Mame sport's game worth keeping on the cab. Way to many Japanese sport titles to able to manually filter them out and keep the good ones. I know NBA JAM, most of the Neo Geo soccer games, Open Ice etc, what are some other really good ones worth having?

Hi, Am I missing something ? I am trying to set up a Mortal Kombat MAME wheel through RocketLauncher using MAME module (as all games are from MAME romset) but it says system not supported ! I have added it to modules list of systems on the MAME module This is very easy to do in Hyperlaunch 2 but for some reason you cant add customised mame wheels using MAME module Any help would be appreciated Thanks

Evening fellow Arcadian's, Currently got my HTPC setup running: HyperSpin v1.4 RocketLauncher v1.0.1.4 RocketLauncher UI v1.0.0.9 + Using Xpadder v2014.01.01 + MS Xbox 360 Controller All is setup with the above applications (seemingly). I have currently setup my first system [Commodore 64], using (WinVICE-2.4-x64). As mentioned this is all working fine: games audited fine, artwork linked in fine and emulator launched no problems (with and without HS). The issue I am having is when I launch a game within the [Commodore 64] system wheel in (HS). (HS) application does not minimise or pause/stop, it keeps utilising my controller in the background whils…

Made a sample Game and Watch theme. Each game would have its own theme because they all are technically different handhelds. Is this even worth working on? It doesn't show in the video but I run each game at 640x480 so it fills most of the screen during play What do you guys think?

This be the wrong place to post this sory! but I have been all over here and emumovies and I can't find psp game videos. I have a mini nuc runs everything up to psp great. I don't need nothing newer as I like retro old. My pc is to slow to record game videos, so where could I get psp videos?

Okay so I am working on wearing down the super bloated list of Mame games for a more streamlined Cab. I am using Don Hypertools but I am having a serious issue with it. I am generating a Mamelist.xml through command with mame64 to import rom information like controls, genre etc. For what ever reason don hypertools does not pick up any of the controls like paddles, wheels, lightgun etc so I can not filter out those roms. Has anyone ran into this issue before? I have not tried romlister yet. Any info helps, thanks!

Hello All Im trying to get WOW Action Max setup and Im having some trouble . I have the 3.4gb folder with the roms in it but I am not finding any batch files in the folder to use with pc launcher. I'd like to know if it is possible to have a system specific default video, meaning that if a particular item in the system's database file does not have a corresponding video file, then a particular video set for that system will load each time rather than the "No Video.flv" located in "\Media\Frontend\Video". For example, I would like it so that when I am browsing my roms from within my Commodore 64 system wheel, that a video showing the on-boot screen, as seen here, will appear for all games that lack a game specific video. I found it in a French Forum so I wanted to share it here in case someone is interested... Download here. Hello community. Let me introduce myself I'm Jay and I am kind of new to hyperspin. I had used mame for years now, on and off. I recently decide to build a nice retro game machine. I am not going to go into detail about CP specs. My problem is when I launch a game straight from mame games video resolution look good but when I launch the game through hyperspin they video game its showing in pixels. For example SF2 Ryu face its made out of pixels. I mean you can see it while when I launch same game through mame Ryu face look like and smooth. I've been attempting to compile Top 25 Rom lists for each of the main systems. I know that "rankings" are subjective and are all over the place. What I'm really interested in is "should play games" and less about the order. Again I know this is subjective. I'm hoping to have an external list (like from IGN or Games Radar). Does anyone follow a site that has lists for most/all systems? I'm having trouble finding them. Also, does anyone know if the Hyperspin community ever compiled this or even has interest in it? I can't seem to find it (maybe that's a hint). Just thought it's a fun topic.

Working on making matching cabinets for myself and my brother-in-law. He's doing hardware while I work software. Since I'm still new at this I wanted to ask if RocketLauncher was absolutely necessary. I'm grateful for the step-by-step guides, but in the interests of the KISS (Keep it Simple, Stupid, not the band) school of thought I was wondering if there was a practical way of skipping this step. If not, I'll manage.

This stuff was sorta hidden in another thread (http://www.hyperspin-fe.com/forum/showthread.php?38183-System-request-or-question) so I thought I would post it under it's own name in case anybody wants it. About 120 games with videos, wheels, module, bezel, etc. Bezel and Fullscreen should be working as well. Everything should be available for download. Maybe a silly question, but many times the games titles are loooong and disappear into oblivion on the right side of the screen. I´m talking about both the info text in the left-hand corner, and the wheel text, if you don`t have a wheel. Anyway to accomplish Word wrap on two lines?

I plan on getting a 4tb hard drive. However, in the meantime I want to utilize my time and start from scratch to build up a Hyperspin library on my current Hard drive. My question is: As long as both hard drives have the same directory (lets say- Drive G for example) will everything work okay once I transfer all the files over to the second drive? Thank you.

Is there a way to get an updated version of this mame.ini (in the Hyperspin\data\Game Info) folder with all the game info in it? ie: It has the following format for each rom: [005] GoodName=005 NoIntro= Tosec= Company=Sega Year=1981 GameType=Maze Language=English NumPlayers=1-2 Players Description=You play secret agent 005, your mission is to take a briefcase filled with secret documents to a waiting helicopter.
