Trying to get Super Mario Brothers X AHK to work for clicking the start game button. When I try to launcher the game through RL Windows 7 pops up asking me what file to open the AHK file with. Any ideas? Thanks

I'm using my wireless ps4 controller for everything in hyperspin. Almost everything uses direct input with the exception of NullDC which doesn't support direct input, but does work with xinput. My current solution is to exit out of hyperspin, start inputmapper (which gives my controller xinput) and then go back into hyperspin and play Dreamcast (NullDC). I really want a something that is automated (so my controller automatically goes to xinput for NullDC and then reverts back when I exit out of NullDC and back to hyperspin), but I've come to a road block. I've written a batch file that starts inputmapper although I have no idea how to get it to launch with Hyperspin…

I've seen a lot of people install a power button on their cabinets to boot up the PC when it's pressed. I know you hook that button up to the motherboard, but how would you do that? Is there a special wire I would need?

Hi all, I took PaintNothing's idea and recreated or redesigned his KoolJeep style classics wheels to better suit my regular style wheel art. These can be used with his classics themes in your main menu or as genre sub wheels in MAME which is what I'm doing. I also included a wheel I made for 4 player games which I also plan to use as a genre in MAME. Just thought I'd share these in case anyone is interested. The images can be found in my FTP folder.

From my post's you can see I'm really new here. Reading for a year+. Memeber for a few months. I grew up in the arcades and the passion and support of the Retro Gaming community has blown me away! I've looked around and havn't really found an answer to this question: How can I help? or What does the Community need? There must be others who are wondering the same! I can do some things. Communication, Accessibility, Look and Feel, In my line of work we talk about On-Ramps. Ways to get new volunteers to where they fit. and so I'm thinking there must be lots of people out there like me who want to help but just don't know how.

Hi Guys Trying to get the Atari 2600 to work but not sure on the emulator, tried Retroarch but it failed ? I have Mameuifx 0.162 ? not sure if this is all in one with Mess, but did not work so I guess not. Will I need a Mess Emulator ?

I have came to the conclusion I have messed up my order of how I want my systems in Hyperspin is there any way to change the order without going back and re-configuring all my systems from scratch.

Is it possible to create a handheld setup that can run Hyperspin? The closest I've seen is streaming Hyperspin to the Nvidia Shield Portable via Nvidia's GameStream. I've spent the week tweaking my HTPC and Nvidia Shield Portable to talk to each other and I have Hyperspin steaming on my Shield now but there's just enough lag that it makes some games annoying (Super Mario on the NES for example). I'd love to have a portable Hyperspin system but is it even possible and has anyone ever attempted it? I've seen small builds but nothing handheld with built in controller and screen setup. Any ideas out there?

Im trying to organize the game guides I have for use in hyper pause. Is there a way to batch process all the guides i have into folders and the folders be named the same as the file itself. I have been doing this manually, one by one but I have a good handful of them and it will take me forever to get them all done.

How can i launch hyperspin with a key press or better still a multiple key press, so if some exits hyperspin on my cab they only need to hold a button then press another button to launch it back up again...?

Hi guys I have managed to setup up hyperspin to use xbox360/keyboard controls. I have cabinet which has been built, along with 2 x Ultrastick 360's and 8 buttons using the ultimarc harness with them both connected using USB. Now I am really struggling to get them working with hyperspin and emulators, even though I can used them within windows. I have searched across the web and can't find a solution or instructions for this? Any help would be greatly appreciated

Hey guys, I'm running the latest HS and RocketLauncher on my main machine but still have HL 2.25c running on my older machine and want to keep it that way (for nostalgic reasons). I recently acquired a new 7 zipped rom set for Dreamcast and noticed that it doesn't work with HL 2.25c unless I uncompress the game first. So my question is do I have a module that doesn't support 7z or was there never one?

I have been working on these two systems and they are a mess. The NDS XML has tons of German and Netherlands games that are unplayable and the Wii XML is missing many games. I would like to work closely with 3 or 4 individuals who want to finalize these newer systems. If you are interested and have a lot of time to dedicate to finding the games and testing them shoot me a PM and we can get started.

Hello, Ive noticed that while scrolling games along the wheel, the images of the selected game gets drowned out by the games that come before and after it. Is there any way to make just the selected game pop up while leaving the other games slightly faded? I know we can choose to fade in and out the wheel, but I want the games before and after the selected game to fade out while in scrolling motion. Thanks in advance!

Hello, I have a problem in which the sound affects of certain themes (ex. KOTM2) still can be heard once ive always selected another game through Hyperspin. I cannot get rid of the sound unless I completely close out of Hyperspin and restarting. Is there a setting I need to change? Any help would be great. thanks!

I am going through Wii now but I have encountered this on multiple other systems... The XML files for racing games say driver. For instance, Dodge Racing - Charger vs Challenger is titled Dodge Driving - Charger vs Challenger. 99% of all racing games are titled "driving" in the XMLs.

The latest Mess.ahk (2.3.3) file seems to have stopped my Atari 5200 and 7800 roms from loading. When they are started, I see Mess starting and the popup shows loading 100% then it just exits back to hyperspiin. It was working fine up until the last update. I coped over a copy of the Mess.ahk (2.3.1) from my other Hyperspin install which hasn't been updated and it works fine - but Hyperspin say it's an invalid file when looking at the module list. Anyone else have similar issues
