Hey everyone! I've been asked by many members to stop by the forums. The HyperSpin community is currently the largest consumer of our adapters, accounting for over 20% of the market. From the bottom of my heart, thank you! To help give the best experience and support we can, this will be the official Bliss-Box thread for any and all discussions or questions regarding our products or adapters in general. There are a number of HyperSpinners who are well informed on the inner workings of Bliss-Box who can help but in this thread I'll do my best to respond to all Bliss-Box related questions, so you can hear it straight from the horse's mouth. Bliss-Box…

So I thought I would give back to the community and offer my services with the printing of graphics and decals for your projects. I own a sign company in Connecticut and have a 54" digital printer. I have printed some artwork for Mameman and a couple of others on the forum and have been asked by a few about printing their work. You can see the quality of the printer and material on my build http://www.hyperspin-fe.com/forum/showthread.php?t=13088. So I am starting this thread to offer my services at a fair price which I hope will be less than what it would normally cost you around your area. Here is what you get and how much. Material: -Arlon 3165RA (Rapid Air Rele…

Hello spinners & pinners, My name is Josh White and I've been making some custom Pinball cab designs for members. I started with Dazz's Twilight Tribute HyperPin 2125 at the Texas Pinball Convention in March this year. Since then I've done a few more designs and wanted to offer my services. I'm a broadcast senior graphic designer with 18 years’ experience in design for tv, print & web. I've got my BFA in Art at the University of Rhode Island and started working for NBC out of college. We moved around the country a few times and now our family lives in Texas. I love making design work for people. This venture is a true calling back to my roots as an artist learn…

I have got to stop collecting cabinets. That said, I think I'm done for now, as I'm out of space in my game room. My wife is pleased. Haha. So, about a month ago, while scrolling through Facebook Marketplace, I stumbled into a fairly ugly MAME conversion (photo 1). I didn't give it a second glance at first, especially with its $800 price tag. Just... ew. Fast-forward a week, and I happened upon it again. It had been reduced to $500. OK, that got my attention. I took a closer look at the photos and spied... a Midway cabinet, and it appeared to be in pretty good condition! The red T-molding tipped me off that a Mortal Kombat of some sort was probably lurking under the …

Some of you might've noticed I mentioned my sit-down racing cabinet project in my Pure (4:3) universal theme announcement back in October. Well, the project has evolved a bit since then, so I thought I probably ought to start a dedicated thread chronicling the project... Rewind a bit to a couple of months ago, and I was fortunate enough to acquire a Cruis'n World cabinet from the wonderful folks at Pinball PA in great condition (although absolutely filthy, as it had been in their warehouse's basement for a bit). Side note: You really must visit Pinball PA if you're in the area - it is incredible. A 2-hour trip to Pittsburgh with the utility trailer in tow and 2 …

Hello, Wondering if anyone here uses or has suggestions for a stereo power amplifier like ones found in automobiles but instead of 12VDC input voltage would be your typical household mains voltage of 110VAC. I don't have room for the home receiver amplifier ones. It could be 2 channel x100watts or total of 200-300watt.

Hello, Was thinking of adding removable "wings" on either side of my 2 player control panel. This is for a 3rd and 4th player. Was wondering: -How many buttons do I need for 4 player games total? -How many buttons would I need for rotary games like Ike Ikari Warriors. (3rd and 4th player joysticks will be rotary ones). T

After all these years, I still think HyperSpin is the ultimate in an arcade cabinet. Here's my latest project. I managed to find this gem for a mere $250 - working even! Don't worry, preservationists - my conversion is 100% reversible back to stock. I've even stashed the original CRT monitor away somewhere safe and dry for safekeeping. A few fun parts of the project to note: The CRT in it is actually a 27" Toshiba TV I got for free off Craigslist. Fun fact: the tube and mounting points are identical to the arcade original monitor. It slotted right into the frame and slid right into the cabinet. Also, the Toshiba has power-on sensing, so when I turn the cabine…

Hey all, I thought I would share my arcade project here, its built out of m.d.f., all the parts fit together tightly in dado's, as I had the sides cnc cut. I also designed this cabinet myself, it fits a 27" dell monitor, behind a bronzed glass screen. My main thoughts when building this one was to have something that wouldn't look too out of place in the home, aswell as looking as true to form as a vintage arcade would actually look.

Can someone validate if this company on ebay is legit? I purchased this TV and it stated that it would take several months to recieve, then shortly after i purchased it i received a message stating that the shipment was being delayed in shanghai due to Covid....fair enough...but it does make me uncomfortable having paid for this item already and not receiving it, god knows when. ...just looking for some piece of mind here that i did not get scammed... https://www.ebay.com/itm/294817825656?ssPageName=STRK%3AMEBIDX%3AIT&_trksid=p2060353.m2749.l2649

Big, bright, colorful, loud, and in your face. I don't own an arcade cabinet, but I dedicated an entire wall to my retro arcade setup. 2x 43" monitors (sides), 1x 65" monitor (center) and a Samsung SH37F stretched 37" on top (doubles are my arcade marquee and live sports ticker). I will post up pics of entire build at a later date, but for now, enjoy!

I've decided to finally buy my dream 4 player pedestal. Thus far I've reached out to Keith at Monster Arcades 4 times and Dream Home Arcades twice but I'll be damned if I can actually get any company to respond to my emails. Has COVID made everyone rich and they don't need several thousand dollars or what? Seriously frustrating. Who else would you recommend? I've been out of the scene for several years - below is what I was thinking about using. All comments and opinions absolutely welcome good or bad. The primary purpose is mainly for Mame and Teknoparrot with some new"er" PC fighting games as well. IPAC Ultimate IO (4) Sanwa 8 way JLF RGB standard…

Finally working on a build after messing with arcade and emulation over 20 years quick question or any feedback appreciated. I'm doing a 4 player pedestal build. How should player's 3 & 4 joysticks be oriented ?? Is the graphic below accurate?? Right or wrong ?? does it matter that much? Does anyone who has done builds have some feedback on this. Thanks in advance. Will post a picture of the prototype from cardboard I cut out of the control panel shape and size I'm going to use. The following picture is a graphic depicting the "right" or "wrong" angles that I've seen floating around arcade forums for many years. Thoughts? Advice ? Gamer's who have done previous build…

Hey everyone, I'm trying to source hi-res versions of the side art (and other artwork) from Universal's Cosmic Alien. It's a beautiful cab, I'm tempted to track down the real thing rather than hack it onto a home arcade cab project. That is just what I plan to do though. Best image of the sideart I could find was via google image search. I don't know if it's out there, but I thought I would ask here. Thanks!

When playing 2 player and during a match, example killer instinct or other fighting games. All the keys are mapped correct, but seems to happen when pressing constantly during a match. The retroarch game pops out and rocket launcher is open but the game is still playing in the background. Il close/exit hyperspin and the game is still on retroarch. But it's not working properly and I have to use task manager to close retroarch to close it. How do I track down the cause?

Hi all, I just decided to add light guns to my setup as part of a refresh (needed to do something during this COVD rubbish). I'm looking for some suggestions on how people route the cables for their guns? I don't want to restrict the movement or length to much but don't want them just hanging on the floor... Thanks in advance for any suggestions/help.

I finished this last year (mostly) after three years of trial and error. And I made some custom themes as I couldn't find any I liked. Sadly, I'm still tinkering with it.
