After Hyperspin, Retroarch is my favorite 'app' on Android. The Retroarch team has been incredibly responsive with Android issues that affect Shield and Hyperspin. Although they need help with some of the more complex issues and have started a Patreon to gain additional interest and support. I donate each month because I really appreciate the amount time and effort that team puts into improving retro gaming. Also, Android is a pita and I feel the need to send them hardware and donations for the sake of bothering with it. :-) The new 1.4 release includes a number of improvements, new cores, and they are very close to enabling Vulkan renderers for bot…

Hi, Does anyone know how and what I convert these files to play Sega Saturn on NVIDIA SHIELD TV ? Tried as it is, but it says cannot initialise cd, unsupported cue file. Example: Advanced V.G. Hi I made a mistake by changing my ability to select options from the in-game setting context menu. I can no longer select any options. The reason why is because I was attempting to make a change to prevent the sound bar from popping up every time I press B to jump or do something in a game launched from HS on android TV. How do I solve the sound bar toggling back and forth for every time I press B, and how do I get back my ability to select options in the in-game context menu?

I have got a lot of games with track 1, 2 and so on, put them all in separate folders and modified the xml list using the method another member came up with in order to work. My problem is renaming the media: i can't get the wheels, videos or any artwork to show as i am unable to rename them according to the game's name. It is something like this: game name="Grandia II v1.001 (2000)(Ubi Soft)(NTSC)(US)[!]/Grandia II v1.001 (2000)(Ubi Soft)(NTSC)(US)[!]" index="" image=""> There is a slash which separares the cdi file from the folder it is in. Well I got this to boot up and the mouse to work. Settinds and dimmer and it has the correct time and date automatically. I used mame git retroarch. Trying games to load. The main screen takes 30 seconds to load

Hey everyone. I am still pretty new to Hyperspin and I've ran into a bit of a snag. I've been able to figure out how to set up Neo Geo MVS, NES, SNES ect but I am having an issue with MAME. I have a 6000+ rom set for MAME but I've seen videos of people with menus of Arcade Classics, Nintendo, Capcom, ect and I can't for the life of me figure out how to get it to work. I have downloaded the Main Menu themes from this website but there isn't a description on where to place said files. Is there a way to set up sub menus for different roms within MAME? If so, could someone point me in the direction of a tutorial? It's just that my MAME wheel in Hyperspin is chaotic to say the…

Sup guys, I was wondering if I could randomize a couple of video edits I put together for my Hyperspin Intro. I grew tired of the same start up and decided to spice it up a bit. (This actually takes me back to when I was looking in on how to randomize custom gameboots on the psp.) well I know it works on pc and I think the randomizer program creates an .Ini file but would that file work on Android? Or is it some other method of sorts? Hi, Does anyone know how you add roms for sega dreamcast ? What i mean is when you extract them they come up like this for example in the roms folder: Aqua GT (Europe).gdi track01.bin track02.raw track03.bin track04.raw track05.raw track06.raw track07.raw track09.raw track10.raw track11.bin When you extract another game into the same folder then they also have same names like track01.bin etc so I can't do it this way As searching sub folders does not work, how to you do it ? PS, THIS GAME WORKS FINE, BUT OBVIOUSLY WANT TO ADD MORE Any info appreciated

Hi guys, I've just seen a video of hyperspin on shield tv (with hyperspin apk) and there is some override transitions on main menu theme. I've find where i have to put the video for override transition, it's in "Media/Main menu/Video/override transition" so i did it. My videos on the file "override transition" are in .mp4 and they have the same name as the system theme and system videos but it doesn't work. Is there any option i have to activate or any setting i have to modified to make it worked ?

Sorry I'm a complete dunce when it comes to this stuff :/ I managed (with some help off here) to setup Hyperspin on my Nvidia Shield TV but swiftly filled up the internal storage with the roms. So I've bought a 5TB HDD filled with all the bumf - but now I don't know how to change the settings on the Nvidia so that it ignores the previous setup and instead starts looking at the 5TB HDD. The HDD has all the artwork etc and the roms - I just don't know what/where settings are that need changed so I can view these extras. Any help would be amazing I'm complete baffled at the moment!

Well I got Amiga CD 32 to run in UAE4ALL. I played alien breed and it runs flawlessly. Going to integrate this into my hyperspin as I have all the wheels and videos

I am currently running NAS to play HS, easy setup for me, I have seen on many youtube videos, people have Tvshows Like Dragon ballz and other shows and movies playing in there HS. I am need hlep how to get them to play. Every time i try and play a tvshow it says "missing Rom" but i know its there. it sohws up in wheel, theme, and Video clip plays, but when trying to play the actual TV Show or movies, i get a "Missing Rom" i assume it owuld be the same as playing TV commcercials for videos games (which i have not set up. Any one else have the Commcericlas running on android, or Tv shows? Thanks in advance

New to the HyperSpin scene but have been getting my feet wet for about a week now and kind of got the hang of setting things up, I managed to set up about 15 or so systems so far but for some reason when I set up Konami Classics it appears on the main menu wheel, video plays and all but as soon as I try to enter into it HyperSpin just completely force closes. Does this happen to anyone else? Or maybe I'm just doing something wrong. I dled all the themes etc. from the dl section on this site and I'm on Nvidia Shield Tv btw.
