I would like to play some SWP quiz games in hyperspin. I wanted to have a wheel in the main menu and then a sub wheel with the nale of the games launching to each exe Any ideas ?

Hello, Well my comp started giving me trouble and just started to look around for a possible replacement.. and been out of the loop for some time when it comes to comp. hardware. Had a few questions if anyone has a minute. 1) From what I've heard running Hyperspin and emulators is more important to have a fast CPU, correct? 2) Would running Hyperspin and emulators benefit from a CPU with many cores, i.e. Dual core, Quad core or the (new?) 8 core CPUs? 3) What about RAM ...go with DDR3 but which type i.e. 2800-----3200+? 4) Does the video card have to be a beast (I've been using an old Nvidia GTX260) with good results and it has S-video out). just wondering if anyone else has problems storing large amounts of video data (mostly .mp4s) on their external hard drive. I have went through 3 in last 2 months and every time it becomes corrupted. i move about 50 video files onto and it works fine. i can play videos off the drive no problem. i get to around 300 and something happens. no longer can play videos without skipping and takes much longer for drive to process and play movies. this happened once and i reformatted and went at it again and same thing. next i bought a new external and added a bunch of mp4s and same thing... corrupt. i bought a really good one this last time and just today it starts to move r…

Guys I am just finishing loading an external drive with Hyperspin and wondered if there is a mini pc that can run Hyperspin, including PS2 games down? I have not used hyper spin or built a pc in some time... any advice??? thanks jim

I tried to have a dedicated hard drive for all my roms. Trouble is, when I try to run the Mame emulator .160 it says "no roms detected", configure mame.ini. There is no mame.ini in the mame emulator folder:dontknow:, only on the hyperspin side--and it is configured for having the emulator on one drive and the roms on another. I really want to run my emulators off a SSD and the roms off a hard drive. Anyone else have this problem and how did you solve it.

Hey guys, There are quite a few guides out there, but I have not been able to find a noob or intermediate guide for HyperSpin, Hyperlaunch, HyperSync, and MAME in one place. I am pulling my hair out over this. My friend wants me to add a Logitech G27 wheel to his rig. I can not get some systems to work. I know I must be missing something incredibly small since every place I look online seems to gloss over things like the Profiler setup, but if anyone could walk me through this I would appreciate it. Hi all, I'm currently working on both a new cab and computer to run a "kid friendly" Hyperspin cab. So my Wife has requested that we are able to follow our house rules on screen time, TV, games, tablets. (I'll post a build thread eventually) I'm wondering if anyone has done or has information that would allow for my wife or I to either set an allotted amount of time or a way to set a "timer" on the system that would probably do something simple like, overlay a "Time is UP!" screen over the current game being played? I guess it would be nice if there was a reminder or something - but a cut off in any form would work. Any ideas? It would really help the SAF in my hou…

Hey guys. I installed Windows 8.1 on my new htpc. Now I talked to someone in a recent post that says he's running 82 emulators no problem in Windows 8 on his setup. So i pulled the trigger. First emulator I'm trying to setup is Kega. This emu worked flawlessly for years for me. Well, when it goes fullscreen in 8, it drops down to 30fps. No matter what settings I use for Kega. I googled this issue and there are numerous complaints on this as well. Is anyone NOT running into this issue that is using windows 8? This is not a good sign for the first emulator.

Hi All, When I joined this forum I bombarded everyone with questions on how to setup my X-Arcade Dual as I was having problems. This thread is just a breakdown on the help I got and a few things I found out myself. ps, this guide SHOULD also work with the Tankstick, but I don't have one so can't confirm. TO SETUP YOUR X-ARCADE DUAL: Step 1: Connect your X-Acarde, if possible get the USB connector as this has never let me down esp with hot-swapping (not having to reboot if unplugged) the red light on the right should turn on when all is ok and connected. ok so i have started again, Because updating broke everything and installed all new with latest HS/HL/HLHQ done the Git update, Now here's my confusion. Here's my folder layout Hyperspin Hyperspin\HyperLaunch Hyperspin|HyperLaunch\HyperLaunchHQ Hyperspin\HyperLaunch\HyperLaunchHQ\Databases Hyperspin\Databases So which Database folder is being used..? Because if i remove the 1st original one, then HQ don't see no databases, But Hyperlaunch doesn't see it, that only see's Hyperspin\HyperLaunch\HyperLaunchHQ\Databases with a main menu.xml renamed to Systems in the database root.

So this page has tons of images of dragon 32/64 gameplay(s). But they are all a couple of clicks deep (i.e. not all on first page). Any of you smart computer dudes/dudettes know how to AUTO download all of the images from this page (even a few clicks deep)?? Hello, I am finished making my mame arcade on an old dell 3100 windows 7 32bit. I used mame 0.146 and was wondering is there an easy way to have it save high scores? I'm looking for the simplest way to do this. I have read a bunch of forums and tried a few compiling methods but it is coming up with errors (I've never compiled anything before so I'm failing at that). Starting off fresh, give me a step by step if it's possible for mame 0.146. If you have cmd suggestions I would appreciate if you could have them so I can copy/paste. My directory is c:\hyperspin\emulators\mame I would very much appreciate some friendly advice and how-to on this

Hey everyone, I think I might have found a way to disable the Dolphinbar by just running a batch file, and then running another batch file to enable it. I'll need some people to verify something for me however, and that is the hardware ID of their dolphinbars. Hopefully it's the same for everyone, so then I could just share my batch files and it could be accessible for everyone. What do you do when the game title differs from the way it's written on the box and the title or loading screen. For example, for the Amstrad GX4000, the game Tennis Cup has an arabic numeral on the box cover 'Tennis Cup 2', but when loaded, it features the title with Roman numeral 'Tennis Cup II'. I have noticed the site artwork (wheel) uses the box art. On the XML a 2 is also used, but because XMLs can easily be edited, I kinda prefer to have it listed the way you see it on the actual game. Would be interested to know what others prefer.

Here is an example of our first complete gun holster for my Hyperspin arcade cab!
