I play to use Hyperspin for both an Arcade Cabinet and a flat-screen sofa TV. Both setups require different controllers - the cabinet uses an arcade board while the sofa TV uses a 360 controller. Is there an easy way to configure two different controllers with Hyperspin, or do I need to create two different Hyperspin instances, each configured to it's own unique controller? I haven't attempted Xpadder yet, perhaps thats the answer.

I've recently come back to my working set-up and all seems well until I try to select a system on the main wheel - it simply returns me back to main wheel rather than the sub-wheel. I also try to exit but the exit menu is not visible, yet I can still exit with the correct key pushes. Can anybody help please?

It's been a few years since I set up my mame cab with Hyperspin. Now it seems that new programs/versions are out and I want to get back into the hobby. What are the recommended progs/utilities I should be looking at? Hyperspin (obviously) Rocketlauncher (is this needed if I don't plan to use more than one emulator?) Mame Anything else? I'm using a CRT as my monitor. Thanks, Bos

Hi Guys, I've got my bartop setup and rockin' about 75 systems -- I'm not adding the Computer systems just yet. It's a 2 Player, 6 Button layout with 3 Admin keys (Escape, Pause, Select) plus P1 Start, P1 Coin, P1 Start, P2 Coin and Left / Right pinball flippers. For those that recognize the layout, it's a clone of MikeKim's amazing RETROCADE bartop. I helped someone get setup the other day by sharing some of my config files + WiniPac keymap layout. It was silky smooth dropping the files into his existing emulators / system, and he was up and running in a matter of minutes. Hi, Love the site and love hyperspin. Got it mostly working fine (albeit a bit plain because it's missing artwork) However, one thing I'm missing is the "how-to" / move list bezels that most games had. E.g. how to do a hadouken for Ryu, how to do kicks for Law in Tekken, how to Bezerker for wolverine. I've read about various methods for displaying this (cpwiz, johnny5,control.dat, hyperpause/rocketlaunch pause), but was wondering what the best was. Ideally I'd like a button where I can pause the game and pull up the original moves list (i.e. the actual artwork from the cabinet with the moves for all players in one image. When exiting Kega Fusion, Znes, and FCE Ultra based emulators hyperspin comes up in a windowed view in the top conner my newer gen emulators like project 64 opens back in full screen. I believe it is a resolution problem but I have not found a work around or a fix for it, Im running RocketLauncher.0.0.9 and hyperspin 1.3.2.0. I would like for my emulators to exit back to HS in full screen mode they start the emulation in Full Screen any help would be appreciated

Be gentle guys, it's been awhile, I put a good 20 minutes of research so I wouldn't ask incredibly obvious questions. I have Hyperspin, I have MAME.... and I'll be integrating more emulators into my system. Here's the deal... a long time ago, I purchased something that allowed videos to automatically download based on me having the ROM. I can't remember if this was a 3rd party deal? I've racked my brain nothing... I know I paid money for this feature, just can't remember what it's called. Anyone know what I'm talking about? Thanks for your time!

Hello. I wanted a module that simply opened and closed the Touhou games. No more or no less. Just like you were clicking on the .exe file outside of hyperspin. So I used the existing one and created this for myself. It works really well so far. Opens and Closes each Touhou game (both .hdi and .exe) without difficulty. Gotta name shortcuts and move a few files around differently than the other setups. I will be glad to elaborate if anybody is interested. Just FYI. No biggie either way.... Hey People. I guess i've reached the point of not knowing what to do but ask... How in the world of all loving retro games do you get zinc to work as any other emulator with Hyperspin? I've read other posts here saying that mame emulates the games just as good, but please don't give me that, don't bother to answer if you thought about that. there is a clear difference in 3d quality between the two and also zinc is more fluent in low spec computers... Is there any additional software or something like a batch file helping the zinc emulator to start up the right way, or something along those lines? Please if anyone got it to work launching a …

I accidentally clicked make it a subwheel when I added a system. I'd like it to but an executive wheel so when I click it, it doesn't go to a subwheel. Which setting in the ini allows for this? Is there a way to fix it or do I just delete the wheel and remake it? Tapatalk signature

I'd tried to do some search & Google, but wasn't able to find answers to my question before i created this thread. So i apologize if i'd missed something. Anyways, i have a Hyperspin HDD that's been preconfigured. I haven't really mapped or played around with the other emulators yet. So far i'd testing out only the MAME emulator. In each games that i scrolled thru....there would be these one second splash screens & sounds before the actually game demo on the mini screen. I'm trying to understand how Hyperspin will communicate with the Daphne emulator an make a game play... I feel like roms make sense because then it would work like mame but I can not for the life of me figure out how to make the roms work with Daphne. Mounting an iso so far has been the easiest rout but I'm confused on how Hyperspin will mount it the iso & then tell the emulator what game to play. so just wanting to be pointed in the best or easiest direction as far as rom Vs iso?... Which method has the best functionality with Hyperspin basically?

I was wondering if there is a way to hide or remove non working roms from my hyperspin mame wheel. A quicker way. Currently going into XML file and removing the non working ones but with 5000+ games having to check every single one seems to be a pain. Is there a faster way to create a new xml of "working" rom files? or something that will go through and remove everything? I know a lot of people speak of Don's tool but that seems a little confusing.
