Hi all, So I'm wondering wether to keep going with my website. I set it up right at the begining of my emulation adventure because I found everthing hard work (still do ) My hosting is not up till next March and it's only £100 for unlimited pages, storage, site builder software and a few mailboxes & domain is sorted for a few years so it's no big deal. just not sure if it's worth while to keep adding stuff. Any constructive feedback welcome and if you want a space to write stuff about emulation give me a shout. FYI no plans to change the theme/layout really as the package above keeps it simple for me especially with the pages thing. Just want to put out helpful…

Don't know if this exists But it would be dope to have a screen or file to refer to inside HS of in game moves or special moves for lots of games Street fighter series, mortal kombat's, wrestling , and a bunch more Is there a database creeping around??

I debated posting this in the database section so we may update some database games with superior versions. Let's start here though. Oddly, I can't even find a website that exhaustively tackles this subject, let alone compiles a list of games where the Japanese (or even perhaps European) version was better of a certain game for any of the numerous consoles, handheld and computer systems. What makes them "better"? 1. Hello. I recently acquired a working Actionmax. I have the 5 "games" in mp4 format. I plan on "burning" them onto a dvd or cd and use that disk to play the system. Any thoughts on what would be the best format for the light guns to work? DVD? leave as mp4?etc or perhaps makes no difference...just wondering thanks craig

Hello all, I just thought I would pass along this info. I recently stumbled across Gamestop retro, which sells classic games and more importantly classic controllers. I picked up 2 real Nintendo NES controllers for $5.99 a piece. Currently they are selling Gamecube, N64, SNES, Dreamcast, PS1, Genesis and NES controllers for as cheap, if not cheaper than any place I could find. My controllers came in fair condition and were working, which is not bad for the price. The prices were very reasonable and the shipping was only $4.99. Been a long wait. I ordered the damn thing 3 years and 8 months ago and it's a year and 8 months overdue. Hopefully it arrives in on piece. Hey everyone Checking in to see about netplay and mame inside hyper spin. Being the loner that I am, it would be nice to play other gamers online in old school throw downs. Does anyone have any experience with this? I bought one to finish off my Nintendo PC by making both NES ports playable but I think I may be out of my league with actually doing something with it. Anyone have any pointers. Do I have to solder both controllers to separate sides of the chip?

Anyone have some plans for an 2 player arcade cabinet full size or even sit down Japanese style. I just built a HyperSpin rig and needing place for it to live. EVGA z77 FTW with i5 CPU and 8gb DDR3 EVGA GTX 960 4gb FTW GPU Windows 7 64bit (Soon 10) Windows running on Samsung EV0 850 250gb SSD HyperSpin and ROMs on Seagate 3tb drive I would like to house this all in a cabinet as right now all over my den and wife getting on me. I am not greatly skilled when comes to building stuff but with plans/pics and instructions I can handle it. Using a Vizio M260VP 1080p 26" TV right now for it but could change but to like to bigger size of the 26" Thanks!

Is anyone using a G-Sync monitor and do you think it's worth the extra cost and lives up to the hype? I recently bought a normal Dell 27" 2650x1440 screen and get really bad tearing when watching videos, let alone playing games, and wish I'd read up about G-Sync a bit sooner. I have 2 PCs under my desk: one for gaming and one for general use. The gaming PC has been out of action for a few months and I'm going to rebuild/upgrade it now the new Nvidia cards are out. I had to move its 660ti into the general PC just to get a picture on the new monitor! I have a four player cocktail arcade table. I plan on using a pc with 2 xin mo usb encoders for LED control panels. Heres the question (bearing in mind that this is my first cabinet, and the length of the wiring harnesses). Should I make the left two control panels feed off the first xin mo usb encoder and the right two control panels feed off the second xin mo usb encoder OR should I put the two ends (vertical seats) on one xin mo usb encoder and the two middle seats (horizontal seats) on the second xin mo? Sounds like a weird question, I know, but I didnt know if it would be easier to hook up one way or another, or if the wiring would be stretched too thin moving on…

I got a hold of SimplyAustins video about Launchbox and i have to say i was blown away much better and user friendly than hyperspin which i could never work/configure for me. when i get kodi get up and running ill be a very camper.
