I am still new to all of this and thank you so much Agent 47 for helping me along... You rock brother. With that being said... I do have a question.... I understand that this site is always being updated.... I get the process.... But.... Is HyperList going through updates? The reason why I ask, I can not access HyperList at all... Is anyone else having issues, or is it just me? Just wanted to make sure that I am doing nothing wrong... I know it's a newbie question... But hey... I'm that kind of guy that I rather ask a dumb question, and know and not ask and still can't figure it out.... lol. Tak…

now.. I'm usually a straight up Deathmetal type headbanger... I'm very quick to dismiss any form of Keyboard or synth as unnesary when it comes to Music and metal in particular.. however.. this...this.. is awesome.. And if you like the synth chip tune this is deffinetly for you.. They have this awesome 8-bit NES type sound that I appreciate.. it sounds like a floppy drive reading at times ENJOY! facebook : https://www.facebook.com/masterbootrecordmusic/?fref=ts

Hey guys, Bit of a weird one, not sure if other people have this same issue or if i am just doing somthing wrong. My issue is that i have multiple Emulators installed, Epsxe, PCXS2, SNES, Sega Model 2 ect. I also have multiple controllers, SNES controller, NES controller, Dual Shock 4, Light Gun. I plan on adding a few more systems to my setup soon (Dreamcast, N64) however the issue is whenever i plug in another USB controller, it changes all my previously attached USB devices names/IDs. Example, Epsxe & Sega Model 2 Emulator are setup to use my Dual Shock 4 controller, this controller has been setup as 'Joy3'. But when i plug another USB controller in…

Can't believe it's been so many years since I have had time to even look at the forums. So many changes and yet still so many familiar faces. And so many new toys to play with.

Hey Guys, With the many different style of arcade cabinets available on the web/market I wanted to pick your brains to see what style of arcade cabinet you prefer to play on or to have for your home. I have gone back and forth between sit down cocktail table and original stand up cabinet and I'm on the fence. The table is nice and takes up less but as a kid all I played on was the stand up cabinets. So I just want to see what tickled your fancy.

Hello, Just been upgrading my MAME 159 rom set (just about complete, in audit showed 0 incorrect on both roms and samples). Been using Rom vault rom manager to upgrade step by step. What I've been doing is find, for example, a mame 159 to 160 rom update.... Running each update through rom vault. When I first got to rom set 180, there were around 940 incorrect roms. These were mostly chd's I had to hunt down and add to rom vault to sort out. Presently I have a few more rom & chd's to go and I decreased my incorrect rom count down to about 200 (and samples 100% correct). The games work great, but I'm getting this error message when…

I have a cabinet I am converting, and I cannot find any sites or templates to help with building the control panel. The machine originally had an all metal control panel, I want to replace it with an MDF panel that has a little more room. I have seen several designs, but cannot find specifics on them to see if any would fit in the cabinet I have (old WWF Wrestlefest cab). Does anyone have links or somewhere I can go to find one to build off of? Thanks!

Hello, A friend gave me a few guitar hero & RB guitar controllers most for xbox360 wireless and wired. It's funny on my windows 8.1 laptop I can sync them up in a few seconds but my arcade which runs windows 7 ultimate 64bit won't sync. Even with oem Guitar hero usb XBOx360 receiver and wireless Xbox360 drivers for windows 7... Going to try the actual front panel receiver off a RRofD Xbox360 to see if it will work.... Anyone have any luck? Guess if nothing works, could wire in a wired PC gamepad inside the GH controller.... BTW, seems to be a file or files related to XUSB22.sys and XUSB21.sys (and .cfg), XUSB22 being the driver that work…

So I have tried to find a controller that perfectly plays as the NES and SNES controllers did for my older systems. I recently purchased 2 8bitdo NES30 controllers after seeing reviews. I can say the d pad does not work very well. It is far too sensitive to diagonals. When trying to push up or down you have to be perfectly accurate in your thumb positioning or it will register diagonal. Very disappointed. Controllers Tested: Controller / Grade / Reason Retrolink NES / F / D pad was overly sensitive, felt cheap and buttons did not work properly 8Bitdo Nes30 / C- / D pad was not quite there, needed to be perfect with D pad otherwise it would register…

So I'm going through setting up all my roms and pinball tables. I'd like to do the B2S Stuff, but I'm kinda split on just regular desktop pinball or going all out with my pinball goodies. I know I can register HyperSpin with Visual and Future Pinball, but I also have the HyperPin files floating about and would like to use them too. I'm not doing a dedicated cabinet or arcade. Thoughts?

I wanted to hear from you guys, if you tried emulating them, how are they running now? I remember some months ago both emulators looked really promising, but I haven't tried any. There are work being done, Wheels, boxes, themes, databases, I'm assuming we can already play something in our PCs?

So I recall on a video seeing this program that color coded your MAME games based on severity of missing files much like newer versions of MAME its self does. This program also showed you the files you were missing if you clicked on to the game and kind of displayed them kind of like windows does when you are looking to unzip something and you have to double click to go into a file and then double click that file to go into a file (wow horrible explanation), but you would double click the game in questions and it would show the files missing. Does anyone know what that program is called, or am I thinking I saw something that was something completely different?

So RetroArch are asking for Patreons to help push them to new levels. What do you think? https://www.libretro.com/index.php/we-are-now-on-patreon/ Personally I think they deserve help. Their goals sound really cool and with the added responsibility of putting Patreons money to good use I see good things coming from them. Also I believe Patreon is by far the best way to contribute to things in our hobby, if you don't have skills to do anything else
