could somebody please help me and tell me what my saturn rom/bin/cue file should look like? should i be unzipping my files? should i leave them zipped? if so how do i get rocketlauncher to automatically unzip them? please help me as its driving me nuts

I'm trying to get Bezels working with Kat5200 and have been unsuccessful so far. I've tried adjusting the emulator video settings and have verified I have good Bezel files but no luck. I'm looking for confirmation that this is possible and a little assistance. Thanks ahead of time.

Hi all. I am setting up Hyperspin for the 2nd time on a new PC. It's been over 5 years since last time so I have forgotten a lot and a lot has changed since then. I am now trying to use Rocketlauncher. I can not get Hyperspin to launch a game though. It tests fine in Rocketlauncher. However I have 2 systems setup in Hyperspin and neither one is working. You select a game and press enter and nothing happens. I'm guessing I am missing something simple? Hyperlauncher is selected in HyperHQ. I am under the impression we no longer muse HyperHQ for much when we are using Rocketlauncher? Thank You.

Hi everybody, I stumbled across HyperSpin after years from emulating stuff. Great application! This is the kind of thing I wished for years ago. Hope this to be a new hobby and get others involved. I've been following the official videos on YouTube and have gotten as far as renaming my roms and making sure they launch through RocketLauncher, at the moment this is only for ZSNES. Also I have the JoyToKey working on HyperSpin so I can scroll etc, however... 1. The games are not launching through HyperSpin either by pressing start on the joypad or pushing enter. 2. Games do launch when I test them on RocketLauncher however that is only if I disable the joypad. I…

I am trying to find the AHK modules and they all are non-existent besides two. Just wondering why and where I should get them from, or just leave the hyperspin thing to the birds (as its already super confusing to configure and such). lol. I have to say that the ones that I got to work really are impressive and I thank the community as a whole. Sorry for the noob question. I did a search and couldn't find anything about it either.

Running into an issue trying to launch dreamcast games with either NullDC and Emule directly from within RL. When I select a game and right click to choose the emulator to launch the game with it just sits there, no error or anything but nothing loads. Emulator and roms are defined, just seems odd. Any ideas if I'm missing something specifically that Dreamcast needs for it to properly launch via RL? Thanks!

I've acquired an 8bitdo SNES30 controller and have created an Xpadder profile for the HyperSpin front-end. It works fine, but when I actually launch a game, it still has this profile enabled and my controls are all goofed up. I'm using RetroArch for most of my systems and it seems to do a perfect job of auto-mapping the SNES30 inputs, so maybe this is more about disabling Xpadder once the game is launched?

Retroarch stores all save states and memory card files in the correct directories when launched outside of Hyperspin/RL. However, whenever I launch a game in Retroarch through Hyperspin or RL, the save files are always created in the same directory as the rom or image. This creates a huge problem for me because all of my roms are 7z zipped so the save files are deleted automatically when I exit the game because they're located in the same temp folder where the rom is being extracted by 7z. Updated my Dolphin installation to v5.0 and forgot about it. Now launching from RL is not possible anymore. Does the module 2.1.9 work with Dolphin 5 or is there a new module? Can't figure out any other reason why it should not work.

I recently updated from Hyperspin 1.3 to 1.4 and changed from HyperLauncher to RocketLauncher. After following all the tutorials none of the games will load. Every time I tinker with it I get different errors, but the upshot seems to be with either the databases or the modules. hi im having trouble with vectrex setup. ive got the parajve emulator with the in build games,the module from the ftp. pointed to emu and roms and put bin and extenstions. but keep coming up with game not found. i read the module and said you had to create a text document and rename to setting.ini and have put that into the emu dir. but still nothing ? can anyone explain where im going wrong the emu works fine out of hyperspin cheers jimi

Hi Guys, Can I get some assistance please, I am using Hyperspin and HyperlaunchHQ (not RL), I have setup Fade in for mame, nes, TTX etc using the same fade.ini setting file import. The fade-in is working fine except for "PC Games" where it does not kick in at all. Please note PC games is using PCLauncher which is also used by TTX2 where fade is working fine. Good Morning All, Where are the .xml game databases for different emulators in RL. RL is using a generic .xml database to audit the games however I can find the .xml databases to rename or match games. Currently I am using RL 1.0.1.7. When I look in the database folder there is nothing there. Any help would be appreciated. Thank you.

I'm running an app called HyperElectronicAHK.exe that is a compiled script that looks like this: Loop { Process, Exist, mame.exe If ErrorLevel <> 0 run taskkill /IM HyperElectronicAHK.exe,, Hide Else t::9 y::8 U::7 b::6 a: s::- q::- w::- e::- z::- x::- c::- v::- l::- o::- h::- j::- k::- } It's remapping keys and I want the script to stop if mame is running. i have a cabinet with Hyperspin 1.3 and Hyperlaunch and a few issues: 1. i was having issues where MAME would be on a particular game like Pac Man + and freeze and then after restart Mame will only launch to a blank screen that never moves forward and i have to close it and re-open and then everything works but MAME again and if selected same blank screen. a) after hours of trying to figure this out i did 2 things and that was a chkdsk /r and that found more than a few errors and then when i opened up HS again i had a TON more games listed than i did before but there appears to be a now more a list of all the individual rom sets like 6 donkey kongs etc... so mo…

Good Morning All, I have been following SimplyAustin HS setups and recieve a 90 percent solution which is better than the zero percent solution of trying this on my own. I tried researching this problem via google and this forum and have many mixed solution however none of them work. Hopefully, this can get a sticky becuase I know I am not the only one who may have had this problem. I am using the most recent versions of HyperSpin and RocketLauncher. Hi everyone, Can someone help me figure out why my mame snap videos work fine when displayed on the mame wheel but when i go to other weels, like my atari classics wheel, they don't disply. I have linked the atari classics wheel .flv path to point to my mame video directory in HyperHQ but i can not get them to display. I am running HS 1.4. Thanks eveyone!

Hi Guys, I'm having an issue with my XHotkey file in Hyperlauch 3.0.1.1 When I try and launch any game through Hyperspin or the Hyperlaunch gui, I get this error: Here is the area of the XHotkey file that is addressed in the above error: **One note, I have been working a lot with Japanese games, so my "Language for non unicode programs" is set to Japanese. My "standards and formats" is still set to English though. I have absolutely no experience at all with Autohotkey programming. So, I'm at a loss. Any help is truly appreciated. Thanks!
