Hello, I looked on the website and couldn't find the answer to my question. I would like to know if it is possible to return to Hyperspin menu once I exit out of the game I am playing. I think it does this with Mame games, but I also use Steam and some Xbox Play anywhere/Windows games. Once I close say, Tekken 7 from Steam, I want it to return to Hyperspin. Even if this requires some kind of button combination I don't mind. I don't want to keep a keyboard connected to my cabinet. I want everything to be standalone and run off the Hyperspin frontend. Is this possible? Thanks!

This is my first ahk so I hope it will not be to bugged. I wanted a simple way to extract zip files and did not want to use another frontend to launch compressed games so I wrote a custom ahk. my script will launch the first supported file extension that it finds in-order from left to right using the entrys found in the extension box in HyperHQ 3ds,3dsx,elf,axf,cci,cxi,app,zip,7z,rar Example: if it finds a gamename.3ds before it finds a gamename.elf it will lauch the gamename.3ds the script will search sub folders >:) Install and setup 1. Good day all ..... So I want to incorporate Bezels into the build I am doing and quite honestly find myself a bit lost. I'm running HS with RL and watched Giga's tutorial, but somehow don't feel like I am following. Perhaps I'm a bit dense but I was assuming Hyperlaunch should be interpreted as my RL, but I do not have a Media directory structure that includes systems and Bezels (that seems to exist in HS itself). By chance is there a guide available that I can read to walk though the process? I've gone through what I believed were the right steps, and for initial files I downloaded the Circo MAME bezel set from EmuMovies. If not, can someone point me to a resource …

So now I find myself going through each system as I setup and "auditing" the functionality of my build. I launch each game manually from Rocket Launcher, and verify that it works past the initial boot screen. If it does not, I will verify other cores/emulators to verify if it is a bad dump, or a compatibility issue. I can go through about 100 games/hour, but still this is nota fast process. My goal is to make sure that a given system is 100% playable before moving on to a different system. Is there a bether way to accomplish this, or am I stuck with the tedits manual process of testing each game manually? FWIW, I am finding about a 5% failure r…

Using U360 joysticks, gold leaf buttons and ipac 2 My joysticks and buttons work fine with MAME, however I cannot seem to map anything for other consoles like NES and SNES?? I have tried joytokey with no luck. Has anyone been successful using their joysticks and buttons for other consoles?? Seems the more I look into this I see ppl just using a controller like a PS3 or XBox.

I like the idea of breaking the old, long .ahk file into modules. But I have a legacy ahk that was modified to allow a player to choose the read the manual before launching the game -- or not. I would like to break the code out of the legacy ahk and put it in the emulator module, but I don't want to start this blind so I'd like to get hints or tips from anyone who has already gone through this process. Any thoughts?

Hello, This post probably belongs on the RocketLauncher forums, and I did post it there a few days ago, but I wanted to post here since I assume most people here use RocketLauncher or HyperLaunch, and the RLauncher forums are a bit of a ghost town it seems... I am having trouble launching about 10% of my NES games. RocketLauncher defaults to the NEStopia core in RetroArch, which is fine except for the games with complex mappers. For this, I find that the FCEUMM core is much better. I can set alternate emulators up on a per game basis and use the straight FCEU emulator where RetroArch/NEStopia fails, but then I loose the RetroArch awesomesauce. …

I installed the latest HS + RL following the official guide. Everything works OK except in HyperHQ when using RL the WinState doesn't apply. How do I hide the emulator window popup in HS when launching games? Joysticks Sanwa, Buttons Goldleaf wired to Ipac. Trying to map buttons using Xpadder but it doesnt seem to recognize when I press a button in Xpadder. I have opened notepad and tested the buttons to see if they work and they do. I have mapped the joysticks using Xpadder. Any help would be much appreciated.

Can someone help me set up Hyperspin to run Daphne with my repro scoreboard connected? I can use Daphne Loader to run the games with the scoreboard, but when I run the games through Hyperspin the scoreboard doesn’t work. In doing some research there was some talk about a command line switch I need to make in Hyperlauncher. I don’t know how to create the correct command line.

Hi all, I'm only a couple of weeks into building my hyperspin. I had the dreamcast set up perfectly. I have installed a few systems since and now have the error in the attached picture... The below is line 489 from my shared.ini file: MaximizeWindow(WinTitle, keepAspectRatio:="true", removeTitle:="true", removeBorder:="true", removeToggleMenu:="true") { Any help to get the dreamcast working again would be greatly appreciated.

i am having an issue when launching stella with rocketlauncher, hyperlaunch hq, or through hyperspin. when i try to launch any 2600 game, Stella runs but minimized in the task bar. when i hover over the Stella icon in the task bar it shows the ROM playing but i cannot make it populate the screen. i am running windows 10 64bit and stella launches properly outside of hyperspin.. this is not my first hyperspin pc. this is the third one i have and i cannot get this one working no matter what. below is a picture of what is occurring. i choose a rom in hyperlaunch hq. it launches the emulator minimized in the task bar. even if i try to maximize it will …

Hello there! Everytime I want to play a game, as soon as I press enter, that message pops up. The last two things I did was conect an xbox pc controller and make a folder for MAME and the SNES in the RocketLauncher Databases folder with their respective XML files. There is also a -10 folder in my RocketLauncher folder and I can't remember if it was there before but I think not. Any wisdom you can share on the subject is greatly appreciated.

Hi Friends This week I have formatted and reinstalled my win7 due to bluetooth issues , and now restored everything. Nothing have been changed in my Hyperspin Drive which is in another Drive H. I am getting strange error when I launch game thru RL , if someone able to know why is this popping up before never happened. I have set UAC to low and all admin rights. I've been working on this for 3 days so I thought I would ask for help. I am running hyperspin 1.4.16, joytokey 5.9, and hyperlaunchui 1.0.1.10 . Everything was downloaded this week and all upgrades are current. I am building a mame cab and using a zero delay usb encoder hooked to an arcade joystick. I can go into the UI and setup a joytokey configuration on "front end", hyperlaunch, and default. If I go into the keymapper test on each I can see my joystick working just fine but it just doesn't work when launching hyperspin. I can provide logs if needed. The mapping is just the joystick to the arrow keys on the keyboard. Pretty simple stuff. Any ideas? I'm pulling my…

Hi , Yesterday i did something stupid . I moved my hyperspin and rocketlauncher folder because it was looking little messy . I changed all the locations and so . all the games are starting in Rocketlauncher , but not in hyperspin. Now when i launch i game it say cannot find nintendo advanced.ahk . But it needs AHK from retroarch . That's where i am stuck , what did i forgot to change . I changed locations in rocketlauncherui => fronted . I'm trying to setup hyperspin and when I run it, it won't show any games in the mame wheel. When i open up rocketlauncherui, i am able to test and it runs fine, but I just can't figure out why it won't load in the mame wheel. i know i am probably overlooking something. Suggestions?

So I recently have added some imports not on the original hyperspin list for my sega saturn and they are showing up in rocket launcher fine and launching flawlessly. I feel pretty accomplished there because wow some of the things I had to do. Anyways, problem is, games are not showing up on the wheel when I launch hyperspin.
