Hi everyone I am new to hyperspin, I bought a computer preloaded with games and hyperspin when loaded in hyperspin, I choose a game and then it says can not find hyperlaunch.exe can anyone help thanks

Here is the log I'm seeing. I've been banging my head against the wall trying to get a MAME profile setup for the past week. I have a 2 player arcade setup with 6 action buttons each and a player and admin button for each player as well. I need a keymapper working so I can leverage the shift commands as I don't have enough keys otherwise to do admin type commands. Hi , i was wondering if anyone has come across this and knows of a fix or a setting i have wrong . all my bezels on my tv 1920x1080 seem zoomed in and offset too the right , so much that the normal ones with 2 bars on either side the right side is not showing. Lynx and other bezels are not fully displayed on screen but off to the right , i believe it was fine but have been a system i added ? nearing the end of my setup and this is bugging me

Is possible to emulate HyperSpin on cloud services such as Amazon or Windows Azure, and allow users to access it by remote desktop or terminal services session.

I have an issue - i've just set up Hyperspin and Rocket Launcher for Mame and everything seems to be working fine. However... it only works on first rom and then nothing happens for follow ups. I've found out the reason is that HyperLaunch is now exiting, and when I close the process everything works fine again. HOWEVER... I'm supposed to be using RocketLauncher... my Settings.ini says it should: [Main] Menu_Mode=multi Single_Mode_Name=MAME Enable_Exit_Menu=true Enable_Exit=true Exit_Default=yes Exit_Action=exit Version=1.0.0.0 Last_System=MAME Hyperlaunch_Path=C:\RocketLauncher\RocketLauncher.exe But clearly it's not... I have my Databases in my Hyperspin, Do I need to have a copy of it in to my RocketlauncherUI folder as well, or is there a path I can setup. I would like to have just the one database folder for emulators. I have just systems.xml in my rocketlauncherUI database folder. Thanks John.

I have been spending a lot of time setting Hyperspin up and am using Hyperlauncher; mainly because I cannot find any guides to setting up hyperlauncher and rocketlauncher has been extremely easy thus far. I have successfully set everything up and got it working on a very basic configuration and started working on more advanced configs to make things a little nicer. First off I would like to start my question with a little background information. Most of the guides I have read say to set the hyperlaunch folder in the settings.ini to point to rocketlauncher and this does not seem to make a difference on what hyperspin uses once hyperlaunch is set in the system's ini fil…

I want to add solenoids to my cabinet for visual pinball. As opposed to using visual pinball and led wiz like they do in VP cabinets, I simply want to switch a relay to provide 12v power to my solenoids only when Visual Pinball is run. The relay board I am using takes simple commands via USB and I was able to find an ahk which controls it but I'm at a bit of a loss as to how to use it. At first glance this AHK script looks like much more than I need since I only need to send the command relay on 0 when the emulator starts and relay off 0 when the emulator quits Below is the AHK. Spent weeks now trying to get taito x samurai showdown ed running with the controls i need mapped to my ipac4. Ive set them in pcarcadelauncher but only player 1 takes the mappings. Ive edited the exe and configured the bindings but again...only player one takes. So I started over with a new set of default files and only set my resolution and left controls to default. In rocketlauncher Ive set a autohotkey profile for the game but not sure how to activate it or set it to load with the game as when launched from RL the game still uses default controls. Any ideas? Thanks

I am using mameuifx 1.66. I can launch my games directly from the emulator so that is working fine. I have configured my global MAME emulator with the mameuifx. I know that is working because I can launch the emulator from the rocket launcher emulators tab. I selected the MAME system on the left and changed the rom path and changed the emulator to the global MAME. My problem is when I go to launch the game from rocketlauncher, nothing happens. I get an hourglass for a second and then nothing. I did link hyperspin and Rocketlauncher, but I don't even think that matters at this point because the link between MAME and Rocket Launcher is not working correctly…

Hi everyone. I have had a cab for a few years and am upgrading from gamex frontend to hyperspin. Couple of initial questions for you. My system spec is amd64 3200+ ,4gb ram,geforce 210 graphics . Is this suitable ? At the moment all I need to run is mame and daphne emulators. I have an ledwiz board on my control panel for light and trackball illumination. Does hyperspin support it ? I am stuck on this. So take OPENBor for the example. I have xpadder profile p1.xpadder and a p2.xpadder in my Profiles\Xpadder\OpenBor\Default_ \ folder It loads the P1 fine, but never the player 2 correctly. I feel like I tried every combination, setting them up seperately then plugging in P1 again, etc. Basically I don't understand how to get player 2 to be its own seperate profile that loads. It always seems to load a default profile or blank whenever p1 loads. I may be blind but I could not find a tutorial on Programming in a player 2 profile, that would help as well Thanks

I know this is probably more of a rocketlauncher question, but I would like to populate my hyperpause for mame. Where do the files go? What files can I use? I understand the files are on the emumovies FTP, but where in rocketlauncer do they go by default. Also there is a MAME.dat file that has the moves list? How do I make use of that? Thanks

hello. updated to RL and HS1.4 and i notice that with arculator (acorn archimedes) the games load perfectly when initiated from within the "games" tab of rocketlauncher but when I load the same exact game via hyperspin, the emulator loses focus and thus the module sorta hangs...but if i click the emulator the module continues ....has anybody else noticed this? thanks in advance craig

Okay i did a fresh install of HS 1.3, overwrite it with the 1.4 exe and started to setup Hyperlaunch first. I use HL 2.2.5 that comes with the install (no not moving over to Rocketlauncher so no crap about that) this is what happens. when i test HL outside of HS with MAME it launches Mortal Kombat, after that i hit ESC to close the game and then you will see a black screen and my taskbar on top of it ( HL is still running i need to close HL through task manager) now when i open it again and launch Mortal Kombat again it opens and closes just fine. Now when i select a new game Pac-Man it does the same thing again, opens and then closes with a black sceen w…

Let me start by saying I'm not a coder. This is my attempt to easily create directories in the Hyperlaunch/RocketLauncher media folder for all of the media that is used in HyperPause. This does nothing but create the folders. It first looks into the HyperSpin databases directory and checks all subdirectories for XML files. If it exists it saves that as a variable and then opens the XML file and creates the directory name (from the game name) for each of the media directories - Artwork, Backgrounds, Bezels, Fade, Guides, Manuals, MultiGame, Music, Videos It does simple error checking for if the XML file exists in the database directory, if the XML is proper an…

The community has done some amazing work with artwork, however it seems wheel art is lacking for some platforms. I am interested in creating new wheel art for myself and make it available for others as well, but I do not have much familiarity with digital imagery and it's certainly not one of my strong suits.
