I clicked on the Music Notes to my theme in HT, added a MP3 file, made the zip, and that's it. It's in the zip file. Yet nothing plays when I start HS. Am I missing something on getting background music to play? I left it zipped, and there is an Extra folder in the theme zip file. Thanks for your help Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

A big thank you to craiganderson for providing the themes and some of the wheels used in this project! The criteria for this wheel 1. I could find the ROM (commercial, demo, homebrew) 2. I could run the game in BlueMSX Its 2am and I'm exhausted. I guess I'll get to work on MSX Turbo-R tomorrow.

Hello, I'm working on my themes for my cab, and I'm facing a problem with Taito Type X and Mame. I have both horizontals and verticals videos, but the verticals ones are stretched on Hyperspin. I want to keep there aspect ratio, but I can't find how in Hypertheme ... Need help

Hello guys, I recently edited Brolly's exclusives playable Japanese Saturn database and gathered artworks in order to make a full set. What you find in this set: -A database of 313 Japanese Saturn games. -98% of wheels (made by Iggy, there are only 9 missings) -100% of 2D HD covers. -97% of HD CDs scans (only 20ish missings) -Intro vid with a game theme. Front covers and CDs have been resised (500x500) but you will find original files in HD COVERS+CDs.7z (all medias are from segaretro.org, videos from EmuMovies). Hi! I have taken a look through most of the tutorials here and what I can find online. Forgive me if I missed anything glaring but I am a little lost and was hoping someone could help! I have the Unified Mega Theme (thanks Gibbawho!!), and I have the .PSD files, but I am a bit of a Photoshop noob. I want to swap some themes out - Master System etc and I know I can open the PSD file in Photoshop, pick my layers - artwork etc, but I cannot figure out how to then export that as a theme! (Default.zip or MasterSystem.zip for example). Could someone please advise or point me in the direction of a tutorial maybe? Thank you!

Anyone have a nice main menu ps2 wheel art. I just slapped up a framed wheel with the logo but it looks out of place since all the other main menu wheels have nice little graphics on it (Tapatalk)

Haven't played around with theme creation much, yet, but wanted to see if anyone else interested in my idea. I don't have too much spare time for my hobby so only really interested in doing things to help the default setups that all community can use, rather than personalised stuff just for me... So, I notice we have 4 artwork folders for each system, and mostly backgrounds, artwork 1 and artwork 2 are locked to system - leaving artwork 3 and 4 interchangeable per game for box and cart scans. I'm wondering about making the default themes also have another artwork folder interchangeable per game (i.e artwork 2) that we could set an image for the controller each gam…

I've been using zero dream's evolution Exit screen for a while now, and I've started creating my own Special Artwork and whatnot for a more uniform feel to my HS setup overall. I've been working on a custom Exit screen, but some things just don't seem to line up properly, so the questions I have are: Do the Yes, No and arrow graphics have to be a certain size? If not, are there certain coordinates I need to plan on HS throwing the graphics in for them to work properly? Is it just me, or does HS seem to not scale and smooth Exit screens as well as it does everything else? The background I started with looks jaggy no matter what I try, plus HS doesn't seem to reco…

I went through all my systems and found out that videos doesn't exist for the following systems: Tangerine oric, Thomson mo5, Tandy trs-80 color computer 3, Spectravideo, Sega pico, Partner, Nintendo WiiWare, NEC 9801, NEC 8801, Microsoft MS-DOS, Fujitsu FM-7, Exelvision, Doujin Soft, Commodore 16 & plus4, Casio PV-2000, Casio Loopy, Apple II GS, and APF Imagination Machine. Hi there Hyperspin forums! I wanted to get into theme creation, specifically using animated artworks as swf files, but I cannot seem to figure out how to create a swf file that will work with hypertheme for an artwork. Every time I try to make a swf file it is in the wrong form and gives me an error of "could not load AVM2 SWF". Is there any way to change it to run with flash 9+ ? (fyi I don't have enough for Adobe flash professional so is there an alternative?) Any help is appreciated! Thanks!
