Is anyone using a steering wheel to control Hyperspin? I was hoping to use the steering wheel to move through the games and the accelerator to select the game in much the same way that you make selections inside games such as Daytona and Sega Rally etc. The problem is that when I attempt to configure it, setting my steering wheel as an analogue controller I find that moving the steering wheel will get the Hyperspin wheel spinning quickly and I can't seem to stop it. Do I need to go back to the idea of selecting games using digital controls/buttons?

So.. I love VJoy for what it is, however some games/programs hate it. The usual undesirable behavior I run into is the game detecting a joystick giving "UP" or "LEFT" constantly, disallowing menu navigation, controller re-mapping, etc.. I was trying to configure some PC games this morning (Crawl and Guilty Gear Xrd) and finally got FED UP with it. After doing some research, I found a solution. DEVCON (Windows Device Console) is a tool out of some Windows SDK kit (read more here if you're interested). I peeled out just the necessary EXE file (devcon.exe) and have written a bat file that will disable/enable VJoy. "vjoy disable.bat" - Calls devcon to disable vjoy devi…

I'd like to use Vjoy for Mortal Kombat 9, Injustice, and a couple Sega Model 2 games (for multiplayer - Daytona, Virtual On etc). Is there a way to launch Vjoy for single games, then have Vjoy close when you close the game? I'm using HyperLaunch HQ 1.1.1.1 Thanks!

I have Hyperspin set up with Daphne, Mame, Sega Model 2 and Naomi. Everything works great except Naomi. When I start DEMUL and load a rom outside of Hyperspin, it loads in full screen with no issues. When I launch a game through Hyperspin/Hyperlaunch the game starts in a window and then it will fill the screen but it still looks like a window with the title bar on the top of the screen. Game works great but it's not a true full screen. Any ideas on what might be the issue? Thanks

I've watched the official tutorial videos but I'm still confused about which program to use for certain tasks: RocketLauncherUI or HyperHQ. Even though I've set the rompath for each Emulator in RocketLauncherUI, it doesn't appear that these paths are being updated in the HyperSpin Settings folder for each system. So, I have to open up HyperHQ and specify them... But this seems like double-work? It doesn't seem like RocketLauncher is really connected with HyperSpin... Are these competing platforms? Should I just pick one or the other?

Hello All Im having some trouble with Demul (v0.5.8). I have added Sega Hikaru exactly as it is listed in hyperlaunch hq to the module on both line but when I try to load a game I am gettting " It is not one of the know supported systems of Demul Module :Demu(v0.5.8)" I verified that it was correctly spelled but still getting the error . Thanks for any help .

Hello Hyperspin Community I'm having some issues getting Hyperspin to load my Sega Naomi games. (Placed some images below, not sure if I put them on the page correctly but if you right click and open link in new tab they are very readable.) I am running Demul 0.7a with Demul 0.7a roms downloaded from a reputable source. Using the Database XML from HS provided by Circo Games Launch with Demul and I can fully play them. Games Launch with RocketLauncher even though a game audit shows every rom red. All of my CHD files are in their respected unzipped folders. All of my Rom files are Zipped still. Like the topic says is there a simple way to disable the random sounds that play when your going through your games? Currently they play over the game video and when you scroll quickly you get sensory overload.

I have been looking at Launchbox and it appears to have constant updates and videos, There doesn't seem to be the same activity with Hyperspin, even user made content doesn't seem to be ever added to the database for hypersync. The ftp site seems to be mostly unsorted. So my question is, is Hyperspin dying?, I hope not, because It is a great frontend, and I have invested a lot of time configuring it.

Hello everyone, I'm glad to see that this forum is still as active as it was back in 2009 when i joined. =) welp, it happened.... My pc crashed and I really didn't have time to fix it but i got the nostalgia bug again so I'm full steam. ============== I'm trying to remember how I installed everything again and I want to use my old mame set (146). I configured mame on the wheel and pointed everything correctly (roms, emulater, etc) and it works. problems: 1. I don't remember how reduce the number of duplicate games on the wheel. 2. I'm having a hard time getting Pinball FX2 and Pinball Arcade to load without steam. They play by themselves without steam, but through RocketLauncher and Hyperspin, it says cannot find Steam etc... Any suggestions on what to do?

Hi, Can someone check that this info is correct: I am looking at the NEC systems and believe that they were brought out and named like this: 1987 - 95 - Turbografx 16 and then TurbografxCD is the same as PC Engine and PC Engine CD renamed only in Japan 1989 - 1991 - Pc Engine SuperGrafx is also named PCEngineSG is there a Japanese version of this? 1991 - 1995 - Pc Engine TurboDuo 1994 - 1998 - PC-FX is I see that there are databases for both is that because the Japanese games are separate? Any info or corrections to the above welcome! thanks

Hi All, Its been a while. I hope everyone's well. I've followed Austins vid setup on the C64 but one thing (unless I've missed something) Is the folder structure for WINVice? Where does the 64.xml file belong and the media. Also what settings need changing in WINVice. Does anyone have a step by step for this. Cheers. Kev.

I just finished my NES setup and decided to dabble in some Dreamcast stuff, which so far works a treat. My only problem so far is a small one, but it's baffling. I use 7zip like I do with any large game images and they unzip to the default directory and run beautifully, they just don't seem to want to auto-delete after exiting Demul. NullDC use sees the temp folder deleting afterward like it ought, but so far I get considerably better results with Demul and I've made it the default DC emulator. Global setting is to delete 7zip temp and it works with all other emulators...just not Demul, and I'm confused by that. Not sure which settings ini to look at. I can manua…

All, I've added a new console on the wheel " Sega Saturn Japan" I've then selected the emulator i want to use which is SFF and added the rom extensions but when i select search for the module its only giving the option for RetroArch? How do i get it to add SFF.ahk. I've attached a screen shot to show. Cheers.

Nvm, it appears the RetroArch module is outdated and has a few lines that need to be deleted. Specifically these: """ -s """ . srmPath.FilePath . "\" . romName . ".srm"" -S """ . saveStatePath.FilePath . "\" . romName . ".state""" .

I thought wheel's would work the same way as the systems menu - the order in the XML is the display order. But this doesnt seem to be the case - my games are showing up Alphabetically based upon the <description> tag (it appears) Obviously this tag is used for display too, so don't want to change that to get the order right, and I tried messing with index and it seems to be just for the letter selection... Anyone help? Thanks
